Bought ACV through Epic games Store and have had it installed at ~47 gb, last week. Now whenever I try to start it, the uconnect asks me to download a ~80gb update or play offline! Is there a way to bypass it, or is it the whole game being downloaded all over again?

As our game receives regular updates and expansions, that would be the reason why the additional content has to be downloaded. It also contains various fixes and extra features that will make your experience better and up-to-date
