Translation
  • Innersloth is currently receiving professional translation help, and is not looking for translators.
  • Release date for new/updated languages is not confirmed, though they are actively in development.
  • Currently planned for support: English, French, Italian, EU&LA Spanish, Dutch, Russian, EU&BR Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Filipino (Bisaya)

Friend Lists
  • Accounts need to be finished first before this is possible to implement.
  • Accounts are have launched early 2021, but mainly to serve the purpose of reporting and moderation at first.
  • Friending, cosmetic syncing across platforms, and other features will be coming later down the line.

Ports to Other Platforms
  • Mac support and other consoles are possibilities for the future, but more details are not available yet!
  • Among Us is currently available on the Nintendo Switch and will be coming soon to Xbox.

In-Game Voice Chat
  • Innersloth attempted this back in October 2018 when first implementing online mode, but it was ultimately scrapped due to a lack of quality and moderation.
  • It is on the table for re-investigation, though it's unknown whether it will actually make it in as a future feature.
  • For now, use of in-game text chat or third party voice clients is recommended.

Game Modes (Hide 'n' Seek)
  • Game modes are being discussed internally, but they are currently low priority.
  • No specifics to share yet.
  • For now, Among Us offers a wide range of customization through lobby settings that can be used to simulate other gameplay styles. (Hide 'n' Seek - low impostor vision, quick cooldown; etc.)

Singleplayer Modes
  • Among Us is a social deduction game by nature, and relies on human interaction to be played.
  • AI bots couldn't understand chat or hold discussions, so they wouldn't really work...

Ranked Mode
  • Innersloth recognizes the high demand for ranking players based on performance to allow for better game quality.
  • However, this is a huge undertaking that even larger companies have struggles supporting.
  • Furthermore, this requires accounts to be implemented first, which are much higher priority at this time.
  • For the time being, matchmaking in other communities is highly suggested!

Spectating Games
  • Maybe in the future, though the servers aren't currently set up to support this.

More Roles
  • Innersloth is aware of the demand for more roles, no more details on this are known.

Communication Outside of Meetings (Impostor Chat)
  • The game is designed around the lack of communication outside of meetings; not only would this be distracting, but it negatively affects game balance for both teams.
  • Example: Impostor chat allows coordinating sabotages and double kills far too well, but also functions as a visual tell for Impostors, since it requires stopping in place to type messages.

UI Changes
  • Several UIs will eventually need to be redesigned to support more players, though that won't be coming for a while.

Weighting Impostor Chances
  • Impostor chances are evenly split for everybody in a lobby.
  • Even slight numerical alterations can impact the metagame significantly: If longer Crewmate streaks increased Impostor chances for future matches, then a player known to hold a long Crewmate streak would naturally appear less trustworthy, due to factors completely out of their control.

New Colors
  • Adding more colors is on the table. No other details or ETA, currently.

New Kill Animations
  • Creating more kill animations requires drawing new frames for every single skin in the game, and vice versa. It's a lot of effort to make more, and that effort can be better spent working on other things, like designing new cosmetics.

Larger Lobbies (More Players)
  • Allowing an increase in max lobby capacity is planned for 15 players.
