[2020] How does Local multiplayer work??? (Thinking about buying)

Local multiplayer works by having everyone join the same wifi. Each player uses their own device. We also have a F2P mobile version with ads and fewer cosmetics so people don't *have* to buy the PC version. There is crossplay between PC and mobile.
