Over 10 QOL improvements that I like a lot, some of them are kinda game-changers. This is probably my 2nd favorite update since launch, right after statistic screen of course.

Thank you, I think the team did a kick-ass job with this one :)
That's a very long list of bugs that got squashed. Well done!
You're welcome!
Wow
I know right!
Fixed an issue where the Arctic region harbor flags were not properly reacting to wind direction on the World Map
Finally this game is in a playable state.
The real next gen of gaming.
That is a lot of improvements.
We try :)
this patch really awesome but I had still hope that they would finally add the possibility to replant the natural looking trees or remove the drak green grass under the tree ornaments...
oh well, at least we can rely on the amazing nature ornaments mod.
Well, we had clearly said that we have no plans to add that :)
All five construction good slots in the top menu bar can now be customized to show any good you want. This selection is per island, allowing you to focus on the most important goods for each one.
Not sure I understand what this is referring to.
It means you can now select what five goods are shown at the top of the UI, and those can be different for each one of your islands!
I never tried before since I just bought the DLC's but can I launch a new DLC on an existing save game ? And this update would work with my current saved game ?
Yes, and yes.
Oh yes! BTW, At what time is this patch going to drop?
That answer is pretty much the first line of the blog ;)

What about being able to select desired tier in World Fair? I am waiting for this the most.
That is in, but was forgotten in the initial release notes.
will it be possible to build/obtain more than one 'Great Easterns' at some point? or is it planned to remain a 1-ship max for the future too?
You can build more Great Easterns as part of the research system in Land of Lions, yes.
Is Anno 1800 the best game of all time? I'm not saying it is, but I'm not saying it isn't either. It's a question, but is it rhetorical?
The fact that you are asking the question alone honors us already.
where? Must have missed it.
So its a conscious design choice? Its weird because previous games had a more natural looking tree placement tool... But then on the one game where atractiveness is one major focus...
on this note I wonder whats the explanation for enbesa not having atractiveness in spite of new world having it.
I am not sure if it is a conscious design choice, but it is a conscious choice of "there are more important aspects to dedicate our development resources towards".
Not implementing something that mod authors already managed to implement without much trouble is just lazy.
That is, to be honest, one of the most pointless comments I have read on this usually excellent subreddit in a long time.
