Spring lasts for several months and as our favorite Brand Manager said on discord earlier today... Docklands was just released about 5 weeks ago so it's a little too soon. I am expecting it sometime in May.

Certainly my favorite one, that’s for sure! 👀

Much better to use calendar months. That way everyone knows when. Even if the statement reads May to July. It's a more accurate way of reporting . My spring is in September. And thanks for clarifying that spring lasts for a few months. Thought I was gonna miss it 🤣

I think it would look pretty weird if a trailer said „Coming March-June 2021“, to be honest, and it would lead to more confusion and questions from players.

I can appreciate that it may feel weird for someone from the Southern Hemisphere to read Spring and to then do the conversion to your time, but it is pretty much the standard in the games industry.

As others pointed out, most major developers and publishers are based on the northern hemisphere, so they naturally gravitate to using “their” seasons.

Q2 (as in second quarter of the year) works and is hemisphere inclusive.

But do you mean Q2 of the Finance Year, which in our case would be July-September? Or Q2 of the calendar year? :)
