I spoke with someone else recently who was having a similar issue. It made them play through the training a few times, but then it eventually allowed them to queue up for a regular match. For now, my best recommendation is to keep trying and hopefully it will let you play normally after a bit.

Hi there!

 

I'm sorry to hear you're still having trouble getting past training. I'm curious if there's something that's preventing the game from syncing up to see that you've gone through it. 

 

If you haven't already, can you try shutting down and restarting the Nintendo Switch along with your wireless router and modem to see if that helps? Please let me know if you're still getting stuck afterward.
