Sorry to hear your account got compromised. This can be quite terrifying indeed and I'm glad you took swift action. It's hard for me to say what will happen next but it can never hurt, in case you feel something is off, to reach out to EA Help right away over the phone/chat to get that further looked into as we can't look into account issues over the forums here.

 

The easiest way to reach us is via here either logged in or by logging out and selecting a name and email you are comfortable with  .

  Our advisors at EA Help do not have the ability to ban you for contacting them nor would they have any reason to do so as the system handling the bans is not dependent on you reaching out to us nor caused by it. It's possible a delayed ban was already on it's way and might have been placed during this time when you contacted us which would indeed be an unfortunate coincidence.   Please do contact us as soon as possible if you feel somebody has been on your account so we can help re-secure the account and help you send it on if it indeed has received a ban so it can be reviewed and hopefully removed. Not contacting us could lead to further compromise, potential bans and longer waiting times which is something nobody wants of course!   - EA_Neil Neil.png
