Does this still happen if you start your PC in a Clean Boot before launching Apex Legends? If there's anything else running that could be interfering with the mic that might help get around it.

It's definitely weird that it's only happening with Apex Legends. Do you have any other audio devices connected to your PC? If so, can you try disconnecting them to test and see if that makes any difference?

I wonder if this might be a driver issue. Can we try reinstalling the audio drivers to see if that helps? For more info on how you can reinstall them check out the Microsoft Support website. Look for the section that says Fix your audio drivers for more details.
