Would you mind if we try out some troubleshooting steps to see if we can help out with the issues you've been seeing. A good place to start off would be with the basic connectivity steps over at the EA Help website. Those can help out with a lot of the most common connectivity issues we see.

Can we also try updating the DNS on your PS4 to see if that makes a difference? I have seen some cases where using a different DNS can help with issues like this as well. To change the DNS settings on your console follow the steps below: 

 

1. Open up your PlayStation Settings

2. Go to Network

3. Select Set Up Internet Connection

4. Choose either WiFi or LAN Cable depending on what type of connection you're using

5. Select IP Address Settings (automatic)

6. Select DHCP Host Name (Do Not Use)

7. Choose DNS Settings (Manual)

8. Enter 8.8.8.8 as the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as the Secondary DNS. This is the public Google DNS, but if there's a different DNS you would rather use instead that's OK as well. 

9. Select MTU Settings (Automatic)

10. Choose Proxy Server (Do Not Use)

Thanks for giving that a shot. I appreciate the updates. 

 

Do you have any other PSN IDs on your system? If so, have you tried playing Apex Legends on one of the other accounts to see if the same issue still happens? I'm curious if this same issue still happens on a different account, or if it's just happening with the main account you've been playing on.
