[2020] Prediction Errors

I know that dealing with a situation like this is pretty frustrating. If you don't mind I'd like to try running through some troubleshooting to see if we can help stop the prediction errors you've been seeing. I'd recommend starting off with the basic connectivity steps from the EA Help site to see if that helps. If you're still running into the same issues afterward check out the platform-specific steps as well: 

 

- PC

- Xbox One

- PlayStation 4

I can definitely understand the frustration. I know it's rough to deal with connectivity issues like this. There are some other things we could try that might help with this. Which platform are you playing on?

I get that you're frustrated, and I just want to see if there's anything we can do to help you out. There are lots of people who play Apex Legends every day without the same issues you're seeing, so it may not be something specific to the servers. That's why I wanted to try some troubleshooting and see if we can fix the issue together. 

 

If you want to continue working with me on this can you also try updating the DNS on your Xbox as well? Sometimes using a different DNS can help with issues like this as well. To update the DNS settings on your Xbox follow the steps below: 

 

1. Open up your Xbox Settings

2. Select Network

3. Go to Advanced Settings

4. Select DNS Settings

5. Select Manual

6. Enter 8.8.8.8 as the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as the Secondary DNS. This is the public Google DNS, but if there's a different DNS you would rather use instead that's OK as well. 

7. Save your changes
