Yes, your PSN account and your EA account don't need to have the same login details - the link is the important part here.

 

Now you'll just have to wait for the pop-up message that will prompt you to get cross progression, which will happen in the next few weeks.

Hey @spicycurr7_ Linking your Amazon Prime account to your EA account will not impact the cross-progression process. 

You must wait, as it will happen in waves in the upcoming weeks.

There is currently no way to merge two separate EA accounts together. The progress cannot be moved between different profiles, and unlinking platform accounts will reset account progress.

All I can recommend is that you keep trying different problem categories. There are a good few that give me the option to start a chat (Which I find is the easiest way to get support for issues like this), so you should find one before too long.

It will count as a new account, yes.

However, that has no impact over getting Cross Progression on the account. Here's the full line:

Note: to prevent exploitation, any secondary Apex Legends accounts created after Oct 26th for the same EA account, will not be eligible to be merged.

This just means the content would not be merged, you'll still be able to use Cross Progression just fine on the account. Mako.png

This just means you won't have any content merged from the PC account as it was originally linked to a different EA account.

The process has not been completed yet, so if your console accounts have been linked in the past to the same EA account, you just need to wait.

The Cross Progression for Apex Legends will be rolling out gradually over the next few weeks.
