Yes, he is sponsored, either he admits it or not. When he gets flight over for private showcases and events, when he gets early footage and goodies to feature in his videos or when he gets whatever other advantages that can be... that is retribution. He might see it as gifts or whatnot, it still is.

Where do you thing that budget comes from at EA? Sponsoring, mate. For EA, he’s just a marketing tool, nothing more. That’s why it’s funny to see him call them “his good friend at DICE”.

Given that, I’m not saying he has a contract with EA to say good things. Just that he can’t be too much critical if he wants to keep “his good friends”. Ask LevelCap about it. He got kicked out of the GameChanger program because of his bad reviews on BF1.

That being said, maybe he’s honest anyway, But most likely not. That’s the very definition of a shill. He’s the king of them and that’s a fact.

I've avoided jumping into this thread today but it's important that I share this in response to your comment.

When we're working with content creators, either on opportunities enabled by provision of access to an event, or through our sponsored program targeting a specific need (examples here: https://www.ea.com/games/battlefield/battlefield-5/tips) we require all creators to give full disclosure per what's laid out in our Gamechanger program. Refusal to do so results in instant dismissal from the program, and we won't seek to work with them again in the future. Outside of adhering to EA's terms of service, and the Terms of Services mandated by the platforms that they distribute their content onto, we don't ever move to punish or prohibit folks based on them sharing their opinions, or detailing ugly truths.

We work with members of our gamechanger program because we value and respect them as independent creators, speaking honestly in their own voices on topics of their choosing, and because we ultimately trust them to hold us to standard when we're not meeting it (same as we expect of all members of the Battlefield community, across all platforms and Social Media channels).

I find it bizarre that folks go full shocked pikachu whenever members of the program post videos with overtly critical titles - I don't know as I've watched any video from a Battlefield Content Creator in the past 9 months where they haven't volunteered any constructive criticism in their daily/weekly uploads and we're keen to see that behavior continue. It's healthy for us to receive that type of feedback, same as we encourage it here.
