The Weekly Storyline Tips will be posted on Wednesday. They'll have more details on how to complete the Storyline and the Reward.

I know that the "revive teammate/squadmate killed in a vehicle" mechanic is something the team wants to bring to Firestorm. I don't have an ETA.
The next game update will be going through finalization this week, and I should have the final update notes by Thursday/Friday. Pending Certification, it should be next week. (This is, of course, to be confirmed.)

Something like:
"Tank Turret Speed Revision: The Heavy and Medium Tanks have had their base turret speed increased and the power of the upgrade has been reduced from 125% turn speed to 115%. We felt that the base turret speed was too slow, so players were effectively required to pick the turret turn speed upgrade to be competitive. By making this change we enable more diverse builds without sacrificing the physical feeling of the turrets. This change also applies to AA tanks and Tank Hunters. Tanks should find that they are now more able to brawl with infantry at close and medium ranges."

You can see exactly what we mean by simply jumping into a medium or heavy tank, going first person and then switch between zoomed and unzoomed as you turn the turret.

Your reply seems to be referring to general turret speed.

Our intention is to have bi-weekly, of as close to it, as possible. Sometimes it may be 3 weeks. But the goal is to continue driving updates at a regular cadence to add features, fix issues, and expand the overall quality of Battlefield V.

Come on, I've been tagging you in related posts (even made and deleted one myself) for weeks now. Conveniently, you and every other cm ignored every post though.

Even when they were posts by Australians who bought bfv specifically for Firestorm, found it was unplayable and were told by Origin support a refund is impossible.

Then the one time I "spam" you by sending the same message twice, you respond - seems like the opposite of unnecessary really.

As for advertising, it has definitely waned but this is from the PSN store popular tab. Note how it very explicitly promises an experience your company knows the product cannot deliver, yet the promise remains.

I imagine there are more ads like that throughout the psn and across other platforms too. Why?

I feel harsh hounding you for it but the only logical conclusion I can take from it is that EA DICE dont give a shit and are more than happy to essentially lie to people in order to get their money.

I’ve been doing my best to respond to concerns from the Australian community regarding the issues with Firestorm. I’m not able to hit every one, we are in significantly different time zones, etc.

Regarding the PSN store, I’ll forward your feedback to the team that handles 1st party relationships.

I’m also setting a meeting with the dev team tomorrow to see what next steps we can do to improve connectivity in Australia (and the other low-population regions - y’all aren’t the only ones with matchmaking issues for Firestorm).

I would like to say this, if I may. I can understand frustration, I can understand anger. I won’t accept being verbally abused, insulted, etc. I just won’t respond to that. It doesn’t move anything forward and is beneath both of us, wouldn’t you agree?

Yeah. And that's something I escalated internally as not be clear.

Simply put:

Cosmetics will have multiple options to acquire them, but not every cosmetic has all options. Epics = Battlefield Currency (BOINS) or Progression unlocks Rare and Below = Company Coin Elites= BOINs only.

the list just goes on and on and after nearly 6 months now with no indication these problems are going to be fixed any time soon if ever, it leaves many players myself included feeling disengaged with the game and makes it harder and harder to want to come back to the game as time goes on.

it would be nice if you guys could address these issues and at the very least let us know "hey we've heard you and will work on making improvements". otherwise i don't know how much longer im going to continue playing this game.

there are multiple issues that have persisted since launch:

lack of progression after level 50

Definitely something I've been hitting the Devs up with on a weekly basis with my reporting. There are other progression paths than just your Max Soldier Rank. Tides of War Rank, Class Rank, Weapon Rank. But yeah, I get it. And it's something I want, too.

poorly designed assignment system

This is something I had a chat with one of the lead producers about on Friday. The team hates the fact that you can't change Assignments in-game and they've been working on it. It's extremely difficult because of the various progression hooks in the game. But they're continuing to investigate options and work on it. That's literally what I was told.

cosmetic unlocks not being earnable via ingame currency and progression

But, they are. We've explained this multiple times.

Epics can be unlocked through Progression as they appear in various parts of Tides of War Weekly Chapter Storylines. Elites require Battlefield Currency.

unbalanced game modes

Specifically? I'm not being facetious. There are some that come to my mind, but I want to make sure my thoughts are aligned with yours.
Is it the fact the modes are unbalanced, or maybe a combination of certain modes on certain maps create an unbalanced match?

weapon balance between the classes

Multiple updates have tweaked weapons to be more useful, better balanced.

If I may speak freely? I personally don't feel that every weapon should be perfectly balanced to every other weapon. There's a reason I like certain weapons that may have less accuracy, but more damage. I do wish shotguns and SARs were cross-class.

ui and performance bugs

Without being specific, I can't comment confidently, but there have been multiple updates that include UI fixes, tweaks, and adjustments, as well as performance updates.

team balancing being broken

Yeah, this is something the team is working on. I personally think we need a mid-round balancer and potentially a skill-based balancer.

winning a day in grand operations not mattering to the overall match

If you only win one day, you shouldn't win the whole Grand Operation. Can you expand on this?

frontlines would be one that comes to mind. since launch on certain maps the distance between flags is so large and the timer before the next flag becomes available to cap so small, that often times the attacking team doesn't have enough time to reach the next objective before the defending team captures it.

i'm mostly referring to the fact that assault in almost every engagement is the bettor class due to the variety and shear effectiveness of all the weapons available to it as opposed to medic wich can only do well in close range combat.

this conversation is nuanced and would require a in depth discussion to fully unpack but the short of it is i and many others i've spoken to feel as though the overall class balance is massively skewed in favor of a few outliers with most everything else falling somewhere into the middle.

"ui and performance bugs"

possibly could have said graphical optimization instead.

since launch on console due to the prevalence of particle effect and image filters on certain maps the image quality can suffer massively causing it to be difficult to engage in long range combat as well as on certain maps the draw distance is small enough that unless you have access to a high magnification scope the distant terrain doesn't load properly giving the impression of there being a perpetual fog covering distant terrain.

"winning a day in grand operations not mattering to the overall match"

in bf1 there was a benefit to your team doing well in a operations match such as successfully depleting the team's tickets to 0 in a assault wave reducing the enemies overall reinforcements, or successfully holding the enemy off by defeating all 3 waves of reinforcements resulting in a full victory for your team.

currently regardless of how well the defenders do in a day of GO the enemy team gets to progress to the next day of the OP with no penalty applied making it pointless to even try to defeat them in the first day.

Just chatted with one of our producers that this should be fixed for the next update. CA should track career XP, but not Chapter XP or profile stats. They’re testing this on Friday.
