[2020] Anytime I jump in a plane, the enemy has this guy

I play alot of Elite Dangerous in my down time - always love seeing the crazy setups people do for games of that ilk

Bonus - DAL123 on Twitch took it to another level. Super chill streamer, really interesting to watch if you're into this stuff

Controls can be a bit intimidating. Doesn't help that folks immediately hop into a conversation like that with 'Ah yes, but it's very simple if you just get a HOTAS and setup like this'. Just so intimidating when you're in that position of 'Yes, but what does any of this stuff do!' 😂

I started out playing the game on PC with an Xbox Controller, left Stick as Vertical and Yaw, Right Stick as Pitch and Roll. Triggers as Throttle, Bumpers as fire. Helped me get used to just flying the ship in general and after that I figured out where I wanted my bindings for the things I found myself needing regularly. Helps to know that you can map Shift Modifiers (Hold this button and press that button and it does something different to it's normal behaviour).

I'm thousands of hours into that game so I've likely lost all perspective on that first time experience at this stage!

Mad to think how much you could minaturise and simplify that same setup with the tech we have today!
