This game is going down the drain.

External link →XBox, it's a known issue for almost two weeks now and the hotfix contained stability "improvements" for Xbox which many assumed to be a fix of the constant crashes during the loading screen.
Well, it's still there.
Just landed back in the UK and had a quick call with the team to get caught up.
It appears that the issue is specific to Xbox, and it’s the crashes during the loading screen that we’re investigating right now.
I’ll work to keep you updated here and via Battlefield/EA Help Twitter

Update 6:35PM BST - Thursday
So we've had the whole team looking into this one and so far the belief is very much that the crash isn't occurring 100% of the time, but clearly it's occurring enough to frustrate people. Not ideal.
The consensus is that this is the same issue that we were tracking before, suggesting that part of our fix has failed in the live environment, and we're going to need to do more work on this one.
One thing we have observed is that the issue occurs more prominently on Conquest and Breakthrough, specifically on Rotterdam and Devastation. This isn't exclusively true as we are still seeing higher than expected performance issues on other maps, but it does appear to be considerably lower than those two, especially on other modes
I'll be checking back in with the teams tomorrow to get more updates for us all and find out when we should expect a more permanent solution. Thanks everyone for raising the problem.

Thanks! I think there is some confusion because you mentioned Xbox stability improvements in the post on 1.1.
Hope you had a good flight!
The crashes we were seeing prior to the update were happening mid round vs. happening in the loading screen. This is a new behaviour and so with this in the way it’s though to measure how effective that fix was.
Could just be bad servers. We are looking into it.
(Was watching Breaking Bad on the flight - almost finished with it!)
I see. May I make a suggestion? It would be great if the release notes mentioned the context of the fix (e.g. mid-round in this case) so that people know what to expect. Now we get a bunch of "they said they'd fixed it" complaints, which could have been avoided by being specific in the notes.
I'm now told that we were believing this would address this too. It's good feedback all the same and I'll ask for future patches if we can be more explicit. I recognise the line on patch notes regarding 'improvements to performance and stability' always appears on patch notes and that we would benefit from setting fairer expectations.
