Are you sure you aren't being fooled by a decoy grenade? Our decoy grenades include decoy footstep audio.

I know bug reports are either largely ignored or straight up deleted

Also not sure about the whole "straight-up deleted" item. Treyarch does not own or operate moderation in this space.

Back to what actually matters: Thank you for the report, however. Does this happen randomly? Does it happen when you get near an interaction prompt such as when you entered that room?

I don't however I can share with you that I noticed some odd happenings with my personal rig which were alleviated when I clean installed my drivers.
