[2021] HTF do superior estate building blueprints work

So a couple of day ago I unlocked my estate and today I stumbled upon a superior Alchemist lab blueprint and I thought it was pretty cool so I went to my estate but when I went there I realized I couldn't use it can someone please explain how they work to me please

It's an upgrade material. You need to have it in your inventory when you upgrade your alchemist
