Most likely the stop forces it into a turn lane, that takes it on the detour. In TMPE check the option to allow busses to ignore lane arrows.

Oh good point! I assumed we're talking about the pink line, but it could also be the blue one!

The blue line has a stop on the side street that would force it not to take the round. Can you see the stop?

Yeah, but the point still remains, that the OP could also be refering to the blue one. While it has a stop that explains it, that doesn't mean our guess that it's the pink one is correct. :)

Did it not help to check the option to allow busses to ignore lane arrows? Try moving a stop on the pink line back and forth after checking that option. That'll force the line to update.

Otherwise try lowering the speed limits on the road you don't want the pink on. If I remember right, bus routes pick the fastest route just like other vehicles.
