If you're having errors, the best way for us to help is to see the output log (called player.log on Mac and Linux).

Here's where to find the log depending on your operating system. To easily find the local files for the game, right click your game in the Steam library, select Properties, go to the Local Files tab and select Browse local files.

Windows
\SteamApps\common\Cities_Skylines\Cities_Data\output_log.txt

Mac OS X
Users//Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log

Linux
~/.config/unity3d/Colossal Order/Cities: Skylines/Player.log

As we can't attach files here on Steam, you will need to upload the file somewhere else. Here's a few sites you can upload it to, which do not require you to sign up first:

https://uploadfiles.io/ - free, no sign-up, can handle large log files
https://paste.ee/ - fast, no sign-up required (some log files will be too large for it though)
https://zerobin.net/ - bit clunky, but can handle huge files, no sign-up required

For the water acting up, sometimes just smoothing the terrain under it can help sort it. To deal with the water as it comes down and create waves, you can use the Extra Landscaping Tools mod to reset the water level a bunch of times while the waves disappear. Then save as a new file and restart the game to see if it's fixed.

Depending on the errors, it could also be related to that and sorting them first might be the best way to go. :)

You're getting an error from Configurable Transport Capacity, which over 5 years old, so likely not working correctly anymore. Definitely unsubscribe it.

- Painter is out of date, you should use Repaint instead.
- Disable Zone Check and Plop the Growables are incompatible. I recommend removing Disable Zone Check.
- Traffic Manager: President Edition [STABLE] is broken, use TM:PE V11 STABLE instead
- Remove Network Skins and get Network Skins 2 instead
- Remove Fine Road Tool and get Fine Road Tool 2 instead
- Remove Fine Road Anarchy, but keep Fine Road Anarcy 2 (never have 2 versions of the same mod, that always causes issues)

Hopefully that'll solve the errors you were having.

Best of luck with the clean install! Let me know if you need any help finding all the files. Hopefully that'll be the end of your problems - otherwise just post here or in a new thread. ^^

If you're using the Steam app, just right click anywhere on the page of the thread and select the "Copy Page URL" from the little menu that appears. Then when posting a reply, just paste it in - either by right clicking in the reply box and selecting "paste" or by using the shortcut ctrl + v.
