[2019] Buildings not loading, desyncing from the server - Feedback thread

Hey everybody,

Our team is aware of a recent issue that causes, among other things:

• A building around you not loading.
• NPCs in that building not loading
• Being unable to interact with any placeables
• Stamina not moving
• It only seems to affect you and not other people in that server or region

Also, if you try to move away from that building, all these issues are fixed until you come back and see this problem again.
Our team is looking into this issue and would highly appreciate if you could provide the following details:

• If you’re playing in an official server, we would like to know
  ** Server name
  ** Coordinates (Ctrl + Alt + Shift + L)
  ** Your player name
• If you’re playing on a private server, make sure it doesn’t have any mods. If you’re 100% sure it doesn’t, we would like to have access to its database.

You can send us this information privately if you deem it so. In case of a database, please send it to us via direct message.
We will proceed to merge all threads reporting this issue into this one so our team can have easier access to all the information.

We’ve got a few extra questions to see if we’re on the right track:

• Once you’re experiencing this issue, could you check if waiting on the location of the base that is not loading for a few minutes makes the base load? (2-5 minutes)
• Is it always happening to you and your base on every server cycle? (Between restarts) Or does it only happen some days and others it doesn’t?

Quick update: our team has investigated some of the feedback reports and has isolated what could be the cause for this issue. They’re working on a solution and hope to release it as soon as possible.

We released a hotfix last night that was aimed at stopping this issue. Has any of you experienced this problem again after the fix?

Our team is still collecting data to see if there’s any instances of this problem still affecting players. If you’re affected by it in the next few days please let us know.

That one looks like a different issue unrelated to the one discussed in this thread. It might be a hardware issue or some conflict with the drivers you have installed in your system.

This seems more related to a decay issue rather than the building desync problem.

We’re aware of this issue still persisting in the PS4 and Xbox versions of the game. Once we have finished patching it on PC, we will release all those fixes bundled up in the same patch on consoles.

Our team is trying to find a reliable repro case, but there’s a few hypothesis being handled at the moment.
