That is interesting, I have not seen other reports that Nakama being so much slower that Steam MP. Not really sure what to make of that to be honest!

Can you try connecting via a VPN and see if it is still like that?

Is this just happening between you two? Can you both test with some third person and see whether either, both, or neither of you get this problem in that situation?

Very unusual on a Mac. I assume like most Mac users you have no antivirus app? On Windows they can get in the way of doing a save (although that would normally obtain for both manual and auto saves).

Has this game always been like this for you? Or it was okay up to some point?

Any mods involved?

BTW there is a bad mod shown at the start of that error.log

I will guess you have an nVidia card as that is the most common. If so:

- uninstall its driver and all other nVidia software
- reboot
- install August 2022 https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
- reboot again

This is just one specific save game, is that right? You can start and play others okay?

If so and this save file reliably crashes, you are all set to report it as a bug! Please attach the same game file to a new thread in Bug Reports, thanks.

What if you copy your Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/last_save.ck3 game into the /save game/ folder, doe sthat one load okay then?

Look in your Documents/Paradox Interactive/CK3/ folder. If you see last_save.ck3 there AND you have not since played any other campaign, you can copy that file into the /save game/ folder there and see if it's the one you need.

CK3.exe is crashing with Windows error c0000374 , I don't have a known cause for that I'm afraid!

Has this game ever worked for you? Or never yet?

I assume EU4 and HOI4 work okay on this machine?

If those folders have been untouched for several game versions, it is possible old or corrupted cache folder contents (under Documents) caused this.

Also in the past a bad mod installation may have mucked up the game's installation folder contents.

That error log looks bad. There are definitely no mods involved here?

In your clean install, did you make 100% sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam CK3 or Documents CK3 locations, before installing again?

If there are no mods involved, and that save file reliably freezes at the same point, this basically has to be a game bug. Sorry about that!

Please make a new thread in Bug Reports and attach the save there for QA to look into.

Then just put that save aside and try it as you see new game patches come out.
