I get that, but unfortunately I didn’t get any forward notice really. I would have preferred to set expectations earlier if I was able!

Comment

To clarify - we are working on Xbox, but this announcement will not be related to that.

I understand the lack of transparency in communications is a sore point right now. While turning things around, we are prioritising managing the communities expectations, so are not necessarily in a position to share answers to all the questions we receive right now. If I have information I can communicate on any of the top communities issues I will be sure to do so!

Hopefully once we are back on track, we will be able to communicate a bit more clearly, and it’s definitely a style of communication I would like to work towards.

The patch itself has not been delayed, you can find more info in the comm-link as to when you can expect it.

You can expect the Comm-link after our part of the Showcase!

Do you have any console logs that you could upload, from sessions where you’ve attempted to complete this Penance?

Timestamps in the log names might help you identify what’s what.

It would be very helpful for us!

I think your GPU drivers are outdated - could you try performing a clean re-installation please?:

I’ve queried this with our Engine Developers and I hope to have an update for you soon.

Hi all,

We’re still currently investigating. One of our backend developers has asked if anyone still affected by this issue could please try the following -

Set your DNS Servers on your PC to Google or CloudFlare running without VPN - and to check if this resolves the issue.

This isn’t a long-term fix, but the results of this will help us to narrow down the issue

Here’s a CloudFlare guide:

Thanks in advance!

This is a GPU-related crash producing the error: DXGI_ERROR_DRIVER_INTERNAL_ERROR.

Please perform a clean re-installation of your GPU drivers to start with, and see what the result is.

The crash data prints an error where it seems to think you’re not running Windows 10. Do you have the latest Windows 10 updates installed?

This error is also tied to DirectX 12, so I recommend a clean re-installation of your GPU drivers too:

Feedback received.

That said, the mod exists and you can indeed use it as you already are. Your needs are met.

We have also received a fair bit of feedback that the mod alters the way they play the game, and in a way they found to be either a detriment to their enjoyment or a detriment to cooperative play.

We have also received evidenced reports of players who use the scoreboard mod specifically to attack other players’ playstyles or contributions.

Given the why this thread is unfolding I’m inclined to lock it down.

Again, thanks for the feedback.

Apologies! Darktide is DX12 only - my brain defaulted to a Vermintide support suggestion  M’bad.

Please try running through the performance solutions linked above.

It may also be helpful to check and disable any background applications that are running via Task Manager to see if anything is interfering, or to try a Selective Startup:

  1. Press the Windows key
  2. Type ‘msconfig’ and select ‘System Configuration’
  3. On the ‘General’ tab, select ‘Selective Startup’
  4. Deselect ‘Load startup Items’
  5. Reboot your PC

If the issue no longer occurs after having performed the Selective Startup, try re-introducing your programs one-by-one to determine which is the culprit.

@Dagoth, @Hollyvvood
I’ve merged your posts here, as I believe you are both CenturyLink ISP users and that you are currently encountering this issue.

Unfortunately I have no immediate solution, but please be assured our Backend Developers are investigating to determine if this is an issue we can address our side, or whether the issue is out of our hands and with the ISP.

I’ll update when we know more!

Apologies for the inconvenience in the meantime.
