Hi @InquisitorPetel,
Sorry to hear this. We are currently investigating a recent spike in occurrences of this Backend Error.
May I ask, what ISP do you use? and which region are you playing from?
Thanks!

Hmm, is there any difference if you try switching DirectX versions?
Or, perhaps running through our general performance solutions may help:

It would be helpful to know the following:
If you could also please provide us with your most recent console logs and darktide_launcher.log so we can look that would be appreciated. Both can be located in the Darktide AppData directory using the instructions below:

I have acknowledged this issue previously, unfortunately right now I don’t have any further news to share - but I do continue to pass on your feedback!
I can see the error being produced is DXGI_ERROR_DRIVER_INTERNAL_ERROR
. Please perform a clean re-installation of your GPU drivers:
Sorry to hear this - it does sound like a particularly bad week. Could you also upload your most recent console logs please, and I will share this with our Backend Engineers!
I’ve queried this with our Engine Developers and will let you know once I’ve received a response.
Just checking in to see if you’ve had any problems since amending your CPU overclock?
These options are currently unavailable on the Microsoft Store/Game Pass release. There is some remaining work to be done on this.
We’ll look in to this. I’ve sent you a DM!
Hi all, I know you are expecting a comm-link later. Unfortunately due to a mixture of tech issues and complications from the red day I am unable to post that today. I will instead be posting it on May 25th as part of Warhammer Skulls. Sorry for the delay!
It’s my understanding this is a result of when a loadout has been saved during the introduction of the “shirtless” bug. You will need to change the item that is missing, to ensure the loadout is valid.
With the release of Update #9 (1.0.50) we identified an issue where the Zealot upper body cosmetic item, ‘Pious Mendicant’s Vestments’ was unintentionally removed. For those that had this item equipped the Upper Body slot would not show the cosmetic (making the model appear shirtless) and also allowed for all classes to also equip the item.
Today we will roll out a fix for this bug, meaning that players will not be able to equip ‘Pious Mendicant’s Vestments’ in the meantime. On Wednesday we aim to have the full fix in effect, so players can once again equip the cosmetic properly.
Our Engine Developers have identified an underlying issue that may be related to what you’re experiencing here. I apologise I have no immediate solutions for you, but I can help with processing a refund should you rather take that option.
I believe I have responded to your query via the Support Portal - my response may be in your ‘Spam’ inbox. Thank you!
Just to reiterate we are very much aware and looking in to the sudden influx of new errors.
It would be appreciated if those impacted could upload their most recent console logs to support our investigation!
If you’re willing to, please also let us know which part of the world you’re playing from in addition to the name of your ISP.
We’re looking in to it. Please include any recent console logs to support our investigation. Thank you!

Did this error start suddenly, and have you been able to play normally prior to this, or are you new to Darktide?
