Here are the notes for Hotfix 1.2.3 which just went live!

• Fixed a crash which could happen when rapidly switching between wargear presets

Hey, thanks for flagging this! I’ve seen quite a few reports of this so will make sure it gets investigated.

Do you have the same Curio equipped in separate slots?

There are a lot of inconsistent errors here unfortunately. To start with, could you try deleting your Darktide AppData as instructed below?

However, please be aware this will reset any custom keybindings.

1. Press the Windows key + R
2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
3. Navigate to: AppData\Roaming\Fatshark
4. Delete the entire ‘Darktide’ directory
5. Launch Darktide as normal

Could you see if deleting your AppData works to resolve this?:

1. Press the Windows key + R

4. Delete the ‘Darktide’ directory

You may then need to use the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option via Steam:

1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
2. Select ‘Properties’
3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
4. Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

This was escalated to another department to look in to, but there’s been no update on the case yet.

I’m happy to assist with a refund, if you would rather take that option.

Right now solo play is not a priority as Darktide is a co-op game first and foremost - however we might return to it, so i’ll be sure to forward on your sentiments!
