I just downloaded the game and I accidentally hit didnt have an epic account and it defaulted to my xbox live account and moved on. Now that I went though the tutorial, I wanted to log into my epic account and can't find an option to. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but no matter what, it just automaticaly logs me into my xbox live account. How do I fix this?
External link →i wish i knew this before i did it. no where does it say "you will lose account progress" i actually feel cheated now. lost all my stuff because there is no warning about it. so my elite hunt pass is gone with everything else. just lost a player
Log into support.playdauntless.com with the Epic account you just disconnected from, and file a ticket explaining what happened. Your account isn’t gone on our end, so we should be able to move it.
So my Xbox progress is saved and i can have that recovered?
Our support team should be able to, yes.
You may wish to be more careful about reading screens in the future though, as Epic does have a warning popup explaining you would permanently lose all your progress and not be able to re-link your Xbox account later which you would have had to click through to have unlinked your account.
