There are a bunch of devs with mod powers for different reasons :} Gtez is the CEO of Phoenix Labs, and thus needs to always have the power to remove anyone. For example, if a community manager leaves PHX he has the power to unmod them immediately. He does not actually use his mod powers to deal with posts or comments like I do <3

The other devs who also have mod permissions are web developers to help with CSS and/or anyone involved with the community team. No other devs have mod abilities :}

Like I mentioned before, we will not removed posts just for being negative or protesting something we have done. These are really important moments for the community and I take all oh it directly to the studio. We deal with everything on a case by case basis, so if a post was removed, there was a reason for it. That reason will never be "because I don't like it." If this did happen somehow, please please please bring it to me and I will handle the mod accordingly.

The AMA was answered by Devs, but only myself, u/bunheadwhat (the other community manager focused on influences and partners), and u/crash7800 (our previous community manager now Broducer) have mod powers on the Dauntless Subreddit.

I am the only one who actively is moderating and improving the Reddit along with 9 community mods, who do not work for PHX :}

Hey I see some confusion here, so let me clear things up.

The only ones actively doing modding are 9 community mods, who do not work for PHX, and myself. I am a community manager for Phoenix Labs so it's important for me to be close to the community. I keep an eye on conversations, help update Reddit with live information from the studio when necessary, and providing open and honest answers to questions about Dauntless or PHX.

Only in extremely rare cases do any other Devs have anything to do with removals or bans.

No mods will ever remove a post just because it is negative. If the post has excessive vulgar language then we remove it and encourage the OP to repost with some minor edits. Feedback both negative and positive is important for Dauntless' future. You guys' are who we make Dauntless for, so I will always jump at the opportunity to bring your voices to the Development teams <3

Posts must be unique and original. Humor and meme content that is low effort or "template" style is subject to removal. This includes, but is not limited too:

• No footage or screenshots taken on a phone unless they are clear, stable, and follow other rules.
