What about planetary materials? Will they also be vaulted alongside the planets and will that currency we’ve accumulated thus become useless?

Will these be part of the Kiosk at all? Or will they be vaulted until these Raids come back?
Those will be on the memorial kiosk as well. They were just drops and didn't have a Quest associated.
Wait, did Bungie say they are supposed give bright dust?
We are currently working with analytics to gather up all of the players who turned in bounties during week 1 of Solstice of Heroes and will send out a Bright Dust out as soon as we can, hopefully by Friday.
After the fix goes out and Bright Dust is restored on the bounties, which we are targeting for Thursday, we will then have a second wave of Bright Dust go out to cover any additional missing dust.
We are doing two waves so we can get you the first week of dust as soon as possible without waiting until the fix goes live to get things started.

The Solstice ornament description states that it can be applied to Year 3 legendary gear. Please tell me we can also use it on Year 4 gear? /u/cozmo23
Yes all Universal Ornaments will be able to be applied to Year 4 gear as well. We are going to change that string next season since it's a little misleading.

UPDATE: This issue has been resolved. Players will now receive the correct progression multipliers when completing Magnificent Solstice armor sets across multiple characters.
All classes will also have their progression multiplied for objectives on the Renewed Solstice armor set

We are aware of reports regarding certain class glow ornaments not matching their advertised vibrancy, and are investigating. We will update as soon as we have more information.
Aside from the joke, do you know if it will be fixed at some point? I'm trying to decide if I should wait for a fix, or just power through (already done on my Titan).

Yea we are seeing that too and looking into it. That is a bug.
What is the over under on this being fixed before the bright dust thing? Like is this going to be the "well its a simple server switch" logic to turn off this benefit?
It’s not a bug and we won’t be changing it.
Can you also explain why the ship is in eververse and not for completing all 3 characters. I understand nothing is official until in the game but this literally goes against past years and trying to earn loot from playing the game.
We saw a lot of feedback last year that the Sparrow offered for upgrading armor sets on all three characters didn't feel worth the effort. We elected to not include it this year and added the earnable glows instead.
So is it bugged?
Or is this just a way to get us to shut up about it?
Lamps is still to this day one of my fravorite encounters.
We can give feedback to the team asking if they could consider pulling Crota's End out of the DCV sometime in the future as a Dungeon experience.
Seems like the bridge would require some reworking for that but it's a cool idea to consider.
