1118s in the season of Witchcraft the tree is
1120s missing some of its heads which spoilers
1123s is actually a big
1125s deal someone has stolen heads from the
1128s Tree of Whispers And it is the
1129s wanderer's role to discover the mystery
1132s behind who is taking the heads and to
1134s what end as you progress through the
1136s story line you work with the coven and
1139s in exchange for your help they will give
1142s you their own powers and then you can
1144s utilize these powers in season of
1146s Witchcraft if you're not familiar the
1148s tree of Whispers is this ancient tree
1150s with heads you can come and ask for
1152s favors from the tree itself but it will
1154s ask for something in return notoriously
1157s no one has been able to get out of their
1159s deal with the tree of Whispers until
1162s now who is it that's been freeing these
1164s heads from the Tree of Whispers And what
1166s are the fugitive heads themselves trying
1168s to accomplish now that they're free from
1170s the tree and these stolen heads are
1172s scattered all around Sanctuary causing
1175s chaos and spreading strange rot taking
1178s over the bodies of the living head
1180s rotten are what happens when a head from
1183s the Tree of Whispers attempts to graft
1185s itself onto an already living creature
1187s to reclaim that life they retain some of
1189s the trees's power brambles and Roots
1191s grow along the inside of these creatures
1194s bursting out and causing them to
1196s essentially have a head detach and they
1199s don't mind sacrificing their living
1201s victims in their pursuit to live again
1203s during the course of the season of
1204s Witchcraft you're going to work with
1206s different witches to help solve the
1208s mystery of the missing heads The Witches
1211s of howar are a covenant of witches and
1215s chose to serve the tree of Whispers in
1217s exchange for its power at this point
1220s hatred is spreading all throughout
1221s sanctuary and for the first time it's
1224s managed to launch an attack at the tree
1226s of Whispers And though the tree is still
1228s standing it's definitely worse for wear
1230s and the witches that are bound to the
1232s tree have to set things right
1235s investigate hunt down these heads and
1238s through gathering strength in their
1240s witch powers to deal with the
1241s encroaching threat they will be able to
1243s uncover what the mystery is in exchange
1246s for your help the witches are offering
1248s you their witch powers and this season
1251s you're going to be able to tap into
1252s three major categories of Witchcraft
1255s power una has eldrich powers which are
1258s tied to to the cycle of life and death
1261s alridge powers are the witch's form of
1263s dealing damage directly to enemies in
1265s the form of fire damage burning damage
1268s Shadow damage Galena has power over
1271s psyche which is illusion and seeing the
1274s Unseen powers of the mind will and soul
1277s and they're the ones that protect you in
1279s battle growth and Decay powers are
1281s powers of the swamp Kaden deals with the
1283s Body Disease and puses familiars they're
1286s the ones that decay your enemies and
1289s heal you in battle so you might be going
1291s for a fire Sorcerers for example and
1294s decide that you want to have ancient
1296s mystical frogs helping you in some way
1298s these are going to be things that you're
1299s going to play with to get new levels of
1302s power and unique builds that really are
1304s special to just this season every class
1306s can use every Power for every build
1309s there is also lost witchcraft power that
1311s can be found while you're adventuring
1313s this is a special witchcraft power that
1315s exist outside the purview of traditional
1318s witchcraft power so as players progress
1320s through the storyline and they complete
1322s Whispers they will earn a seasonal
1324s currency this seasonal currency is used
1326s to one purchase witch powers and also
1329s upgrade your wecraft powers an example
1331s of an eldrich power would be a new power
1334s Doom orb an ominous orb of pure eldrich
1338s energy that circles you and burns
1340s enemies with fire damage Doom orb gets
1342s stronger as you slay enemies and will
1343s eventually explode dor will also launch
1347s itself at enemies if no enemies are near
1350s you so we do have some returning fan
1353s favorites coming back in season
1355s witchcraft players who are fans of our
1358s franchise will remember some of these
1359s powers are from Diablo II specifically
1362s the witch doctor firebats is returning
1365s from Diablo II those who have played the
1367s witch doctor also remember the hex skill
1369s the toad of hugeness however it's been
1372s reimagined for Diablo 4 in season of
1374s Witchcraft this is the poison frog
1376s servant I just think it's adorable and I
1378s want to having a murderous pet frog
1380s follow me through sanctuary of all the
1382s Witchcraft Powers something tells me
1384s that players are probably going to be
1386s the most excited about piran it's
1389s effectively a whirlwind of water and
1392s chomping piranhas that will just shred
1393s your enemies to pieces and yes it does
1396s pull enemies towards
1398s it so players will be unlocking and
1401s upgrading their various witchcraft
1403s Powers through performing head hunts
1405s you're going to see that there's an area
1407s in the world where the tree of whisp
1409s has detected fugitive heads the head
1411s rotten are there you need to go hunt
1413s them down when they interact with other
1415s monsters in the world of sanctuary best
1417s case scenario they horrifically corrupt
1420s that monster to become a new headless
1421s form of itself worst case they actually
1424s a fix themselves to a monster and become
1428s a new boss-like entity that has this
1431s ancient rotting head on top of this now
1433s puppeteered body there is a horror in
1436s them a sort of Frankenstein esque
1439s monster so they have more humanoid
1441s traits but even stronger powers like
1445s flaming swords they're going to be
1446s throwing at you or they might be using
1448s poison axes that are hurled your way or
1450s even Shadow Spears that tear up the
1452s ground so these are going to be some new
1454s encounters that you've never seen before
1456s as you perform various Whispers in the
1458s area hopefully you see Briars out in the
1460s world these are going to indicate that
1462s there's a head rotten there you manag to
1464s successfully take down one of the head
1466s rotten and claim a fugitive head this
1468s can be returned to the witches at the
1470s tree of Whispers and you're going to get
1472s special seasonal sockes as a reward on
1476s top of that there will be some new
1477s Whispers out there you might have a
1478s chance to help a Bewitched frog or there
1481s might be a lost whisp that needs to find
1483s its way home as you engage in these
1485s Whispers you're going to get reputation
1487s with the witches as well as seasonal
1489s currency that you can use to unlock and
1491s upgrade your witch
1493s powers so we've seen a lot of great
1495s feedback from our players on what are
1496s the various features that they most want
1498s to see in Diablo four to make our game
1499s even better one that's come up quite a
1501s few times is an Armory when you save a
1504s build in the Armory it's going to take a
1506s snapshot of everything currently on your
1508s character skill treat Paragon boards
1510s your glyphs on those boards and all of
1512s your gear players will be able to access
1515s the Armory UI from any major city you're
1517s going to be able to pursue multiple
1519s different Builds on one class at the
1521s same time this can be pretty cool when
1523s leveling up but it's especially fun once
1525s you get into the end game at that point
1527s whenever you find a cool item that oh
1529s man this is really strong but not for
1530s the build I'm running right now oh but
1533s you can still use it you can still save
1534s out separate sets and try to pursue
1537s getting really powerful setups of very
1539s different versions of your class at the
1541s same time I am excited of what it could
1543s feel like to constantly be swapping
1545s between these different builds and
1546s seeing which one is the most powerful
1548s I'm excited for people to just immerse
1550s themselves in the season me personally
1552s I'm very likely going to be running a
1554s companion Druid build with the grow
1556s power to have a giant werewolf Army no
1559s yes we have a quest line that is
1561s different and emotionally gut-wrenching
1563s new witch powers fugitive Heads new
1566s Whispers really interesting bosses that
1569s have unique attack patterns new uniques
1572s legendaries and new runes for vessel of
1574s hatred players there's a lot to try out
1576s here some builds that have never been
1577s present before I'm excited to see what
1579s players do with it

1594s excellent holiday break uh super relaxed
1597s and very excited to bring you season of
1600s Witchcraft as you might have seened this
1602s Tuesday uh we announced season of
1604s Witchcraft is coming on January 21st uh
1607s we've got an excellent show for you
1608s today today we're joined by some
1609s familiar faces you know Mr Charles D
1611s welcome hi I'm Charles I'm a game
1613s designer on the uh live uh balance team
1617s and I'm aen Hall I am a systems designer

1634s us Dan as you can all see uh season of
1636s Witchcraft is upon us uh huge shout out
1638s to our production team we've got some
1640s absolutely disgusting heads that we Bard
1642s from the three Whispers you can't see on
1645s this guy yet I might give him a spin
1646s later on but the teeth on him are
1648s absolutely
1649s um so uh yeah without further Ado to
1652s give you a brief overview for the stream
1654s uh we're going to walk you through the
1655s seasonal content so season of Witchcraft
1658s excited to get into it uh then we'll
1660s head over to some class and balance
1661s updates uh give you a brief pre preview
1663s of some new uniques coming of the Season
1665s should be pretty exciting and then we'll
1667s have some system updates and get into
1668s some exciting features coming with
1670s season witchcraft that have been much
1672s anticipated for a long time then stick
1674s around because we'll do a Q&A towards
1676s the tail end of the stream uh and we'll
1678s get into all your questions so I do have
1680s twitch chat open that I'm looking at uh
1682s and we will be collecting questions
1683s throughout the stream for a devs to
1684s answer um but before we jump into season
1687s of Witchcraft we do want to cast
1689s ourselves all the way back to the start
1690s of December where we have the 2.1 PTR uh
1693s thank you to everyone who jumped into
1695s this PTR there was a ton of content um
1698s and we did have some exciting features
1700s like I got to ask you aen like how did
1701s it feel to get the Armory finally oh my
1704s gosh I've been waiting for so long I'm
1706s so glad it's finally here the Armory
1709s feels amazing to use it's so great to
1711s finally have it in the game um anyone
1714s who hasn't had a chance to try it yet
1715s it's going to be a godsend in season 7
1717s you're going to love it um it's a it's
1720s it's just such a useful tool and we'll
1722s go more into the details later but
1724s wonderful yeah absolutely yeah oh I mean
1729s Charles did you get any uh feedback on
1731s unique the balance changes or yeah for
1734s from the PTR we got a lot of great
1736s feedback on on balance and um all the
1738s new content for classes like uh the the
1741s new uniques new legendaries all the uh
1743s the tweaks and adjustments to skills uh
1745s your feedback has been invaluable not
1747s only like uh feedback written up on
1749s social media or on our forums or
1750s elsewhere but also just like the In The
1752s Raw data the player data or Telemetry
1754s has been very helpful in making sure
1756s that this season and every season is as
1758s best as it can be when it actually
1759s launches yeah that's a great Point
1761s Charles like one thing we did want to
1763s touch on is even if you don't see your
1764s feedback represented throughout this
1766s stream because we will be touching on
1767s different feedback across all the
1769s sections uh from our PTR we do still
1771s internalize all that feedback and take
1773s it through and help you know uh make
1775s decisions throughout uh future Seasons
1777s so all the feedback is very much
1778s appreciated and really does help inform
1781s that content but yeah there's a ton to
1782s chew on in the PTR like we had all our
1784s witchcraft powers in there like there's
1786s there's an absolute smattering of
1787s content um but very excited to throw it
1791s over to Dan tangue uh can you let us
1794s know what players can expect in seasonal
1796s witchcraft yeah let's talk about the
1798s season of the Witchcraft there's a lot
1800s to cover at this point you
1802s got um a bigger chunk of it than you had
1806s in previous seasons in the PTR uh but
1808s still we've got some surprises in store
1810s that we want to share with yall so uh
1812s let's get started um first off the
1815s season of
1816s Witchcraft um dozens of heads are
1820s missing from the Tree of
1823s Whispers And so the tree is hellbent and
1827s really just ticked off one wants to find
1829s them I mean these heads were part of a
1832s bargain the tree is all about keeping
1834s your word and now that bargain is broken
1838s so yeah the tree is mad full stop um now
1842s the witches have summoned you to the
1844s tree and they're offering you a deal if
1847s you can get those heads back for them
1849s they'll offer you the secrets of
1851s Witchcraft so that's where we begin and
1855s the first thing uh we're going to have
1857s an all new quest line and that new quest
1859s line is going to be you unraveling the
1861s mystery of those missing heads and while
1865s you're doing that like I said you're
1866s going to be earning wild Witchcraft and
1868s occult gems uh we have a new activity
1872s called Head hunts and that's going to
1874s allow you to pursue Whispers Sligh head
1876s rotten which is the new enemies the new
1879s family of enemies uh that we have this
1881s season and find those missing heads um
1885s in addition to the uh head hunts you're
1887s also going to have root holds these are
1889s new micro dungeons that allow you to
1891s discover bonus head rotten and also
1893s their bosses and then finally we've got
1896s some updates to the season Journey that
1897s we'll cover including a new pet named
1900s Dorian which is a pet Raven this is our
1902s first flying pet so we're pretty excited
1904s about that um let's talk about some of
1907s the powers so witchcraft at least as
1912s we're defining it this season it allows
1915s its practitioners to call upon the power
1917s of the swamp to do their bidding and
1920s there are three schools of magic within
1922s witchcraft we've got eldrich Witchcraft
1925s and that's uncanny magic that you know
1927s is just weird and bizarre and very of
1931s the swamp you've got psyche Powers these
1933s are powers of the Mind and Spirit and
1936s we've got growth and Decay and that
1938s that's magic that both heals and harms
1940s your enemies um going to take a look at
1943s it some of these in action so first up
1946s we're going to have uh Eldridge Powers
1947s once we get our clip
1952s going and right here we're seeing that
1955s we've got Fire Bats which is a classic
1958s power from the Witch Doctor that we
1960s brought back this season paired up with
1962s doom orb uh next up we've got some
1965s psyche Powers here and uh we're using
1969s vengeful Spirit which is kind of hanging
1971s around you and zooming between enemies
1973s and the or of lament where you see these
1976s psychic projections of hands come out of
1978s the ground around and slow your enemies
1979s and finally we've got growth and Decay
1982s magic and you watch right there your
1984s wolves got really big all of a sudden
1986s that's grow magic and that's been paired
1988s up with the poison frog which you see in
1990s the corner uh wailing away on the the
1993s head rotten there so those are some good
1996s examples of the types of Magics that
1998s you're going to be able to use in this
2000s season and you'll start seeing them
2002s sprinkled all throughout the rest of the
2003s clips that we're about to show
2005s you uh next up let's talk about the
2008s hunts so I said before the tree was
2012s really mad right cuz it's missing its
2014s heads and
2016s so what it's doing is actually calling
2019s out all new Whispers And it's just
2022s furiously furiously searching for these
2024s heads but it can't do it on its own so
2028s when it calls out a particular Zone
2030s because it knows roughly where the heads
2032s are um it calls its agents to to help it
2035s out and you're one of the trees agents
2037s so you can go and solve some of those
2039s Whispers and get rewarded for them now
2042s the head hunts are special Zone
2044s takeovers that complement the hell tide
2046s so uh folks on the PTR called them witch
2049s Tides sure you can call them that uh but
2053s the idea is that uh these aren't just
2056s replacing hell Tides they're there to
2058s supplement them in terms of what you can
2061s do in the Overworld now these are going
2063s to be swarming with head rotten those
2064s enemies we talked about before the head
2066s rotten are monsters that have Fallen
2068s under the influence of the missing heads
2070s and the heads have transformed them in
2072s really grotesque ways now these head
2075s hunts like I mentioned are going to
2077s feature all new Whispers mixed with some
2079s existing ones as well completing a
2084s whisper uh unlocks uh what's called an
2087s exposed root and that gives you a chance
2090s of actually triggering what is uh a
2094s cocoon uh and these uprooted cocoons
2096s have a chance of then spawning ahead
2098s rotten boss so every time you complete a
2100s whisper you've got a chance at
2103s triggering a boss and occasionally a
2106s boss will spawn from one of these and
2108s then everyone in the zone can work
2110s together to try and take down that boss
2112s and if you're really lucky that boss
2115s will have one of the missing heads
2116s associated with it so let's take a look
2118s at some of this in action here now first
2121s up we're going to check out one of our
2123s new Whispers this is a Shepherd whisper
2126s uh this is allowing you to you know uh
2129s guide some of these uh innocent wildlife
2131s in this area to safety you know very
2134s simple but you know the witches want to
2136s make sure that no one's harmed uh by the
2138s head rotten next up we've got some
2141s villagers that are trapped in Bramble in
2142s an entangled whisper and so you're
2145s trying to defeat all the enemies around
2147s there in order to uh free the uh
2150s villager
2152s there uh following that we're actually
2155s going to get a view of one of the
2157s exposed roots at as it transforms into
2160s this uprooted
2161s cocoon and so um much like uh some other
2166s open world boss fights there's going to
2167s be some combat leading up to the boss
2170s spawning and uh that first cocoon
2172s actually didn't have a boss in it but
2174s you still got some rewards from it so
2175s we're going to see if this second cocoon
2177s has a boss in it so we're you know
2179s continuing to clear head rotten and
2182s indeed a boss does spawn now
2184s unfortunately it's not a boss with a
2185s missing head this is a headless husk but
2187s still it's going to be pretty rewarding
2189s to defeat this so hopefully everyone in
2191s the area realizes that you know there's
2194s a boss in the air and they're going to
2195s come help you defeat
2197s this and uh yeah that is a good Peak at
2201s uh what head hunts are going to be uh
2204s but let's go back to the tree now
2206s because uh really want to take you
2208s through some of the steps on how to
2209s learn new witchcraft so um let's talk
2213s about that so the first thing that's
2216s really important when you want to learn
2218s witchcraft is that you're always going
2220s to be earning covenant's favor from
2221s completing Whispers And that's going to
2225s unlock new witchcraft at certain tiers
2228s of the the coven favor board now
2231s additionally as you're killing those
2233s head rotten that I showed you before
2235s you're going to be earning Restless rot
2238s now Restless rot is something that you
2240s can offer as proof of a kill to the
2242s alter to earn that new Witchcraft and
2245s then you can use it also to upgrade your
2248s witchcraft directly in your
2249s UI one final note I want to make here is
2253s that we decided to use witchcraft in the
2257s seasonal Powers as a way to help boost
2259s your alts so that means that whenever
2261s you upgrade and unlock a piece of
2263s Witchcraft that's going to stay upgraded
2266s and locked for all your characters on
2268s your account for the rest of the season
2271s so it's going to be a great leg up for
2272s you know trying new characters in the
2274s future but let's take a look at some of
2276s this in action
2278s all right so here we are in the tree of
2281s Whispers area and we're looking at the
2284s coven rep board and we'll see right up
2286s here that on rank seven you actually
2288s unlock some more witchcraft so we're
2290s going to go over to our altar now now at
2293s the altar we're going to take a look at
2295s a list of things that you haven't
2296s learned yet and each of these costs
2298s Restless rot to earn and so you're going
2301s to learn grow and now grow has appeared
2304s in your witchcraft inventory to the
2305s right and you're also going to look at
2308s upgrading abysal Abyssal resonance it
2311s was a bit of a mouthful and uh we can
2314s upgrade it from rank three to four by
2316s just plying the Restless rot
2318s directly but head hunts aren't the only
2320s places that you're going to be able to
2321s find head rotten uh let's go uh actually
2325s no I'm skipping ahead let's talk about
2328s forgotten altars first so there's a bit
2331s of a Twist on earning some of your
2332s witchcraft not all the Witchcraft that
2336s uh you can learn is actually known by
2339s The Witches of howar or the tree for
2340s that matter some of it has just been
2342s lost to the world and so uh these take
2346s the form of lost powers that you can
2348s find on forgotten altars out in the
2351s dungeons of sanctuary so as you're
2353s adventuring through your dungeons uh you
2355s will find some lost powers that you
2357s can't get anywhere else and so it should
2360s be pretty exciting to stumble across one
2362s of these um can't remember if there's a
2365s clip or not here so let's take a look
2367s there is indeed and so real quick you
2370s know going through a dungeon you see a
2371s forgotten alter you interact with it and
2373s then a new power is unlocked now the
2375s cool thing about these is that if you
2378s find more Alters you can upgrade your
2380s powers by doing this but you can also
2383s upgrade them through spending a premium
2385s price of uh Restless rot so you've got a
2388s couple options for upgrading these once
2390s you're able to find them now we're going
2392s to talk about the root holds I think so
2396s uh root holds root holds are micro
2398s Dungeons and so these micro dungeons are
2402s home to some of the head rotten and the
2404s head rotten bosses and the missing heads
2406s they've gotten a little wise to what the
2408s trees up to so they're trying to hide
2411s underground and so uh each of these
2413s contains a really concentrated
2415s population of head rotten in their
2417s rewards and they require a new type of
2420s sigil called the Whispering Wood in
2421s order to access and so these drop from
2424s whisper caches so as you complete those
2426s Whispers you'll get more access to root
2428s holds as well as silent chests which
2431s actually are pretty common in the head
2433s hunt areas so let's take a look at a
2435s root hold uh first off we're going to
2437s open our inventory and in there is going
2439s to be a Whispering Wood and we're just
2441s going to trigger that like we would any
2443s nightmare dungeon and then we're going
2445s to teleport right into our root hold and
2448s I can take you through a little bit of
2454s that all right now we're in the root
2456s hold and we're going to come upon a
2458s couple of interactions actually Four
2460s these are rights and ceremonies uh these
2463s are interactions that allow you to
2465s increase the challenge in the root hold
2466s in order to get more rewards and if it
2469s reminds you a little bit of Hell
2470s breaches well it is pretty similar but
2472s unlike those you can actually do
2474s multiple uh rights and ceremonies
2477s instead of just one and when you take
2479s those on then all the enemies and all
2481s the interactions afterwards have been
2483s impacted and so we're going to fight
2485s through some of the head rotten here
2487s like I said root holds are a pretty good
2490s spot to get a concentrated dose of them
2493s and you also get uh a number of
2496s guaranteed roots that you can uh try and
2498s uproot as well which is great uh we'll
2501s watch a little bit more of this and then
2503s we'll culminate with a boss um one more
2507s battle first but I'll say that each root
2510s hold is guaranteed to have a boss at the
2512s end which is nice if you want to start
2514s really trying to grind to get your uh
2516s Missing heads
2519s now let's take a look at the boss oh
2521s well this boss actually has a head so
2524s that's pretty cool cuz a lot of them
2525s don't so um we're going to kill that
2528s boss and that boss is going to drop a
2531s missing head and we're actually going to
2532s go take it back to the tree of Whispers
2534s now so taking it back to the tree of
2537s Whispers we're going to talk to a witch
2539s and we're going to be able in return for
2542s uh giving her this head craft an ult
2545s Gem and uh this G I think we're going to
2548s craft as an elder sigil and we're going
2551s to be able to slot that into one of our
2553s rings so let's do that right
2557s now here we
2561s go and the Elder sigil is not only going
2564s to provide us some defense like you
2565s would get from your uh a diamond or
2569s skull that you've slotted into a a ring
2571s or a um a tal not a
2574s Talisman um yeah uh but also uh it's
2579s going to give you some additional
2581s bonuses above and beyond that but I'm
2583s dancing around it what are ult gems and
2587s so let's talk a little bit more about
2589s what occult gems are at this point so
2592s occult gems are special sockets and
2594s these socket Ables are going to really
2597s help you fine-tune your build after you
2600s have kind of a good foundation of
2602s Witchcraft now they're crafted like you
2604s saw using the missing heads return to
2606s the tree of Whispers they can only be
2608s slotted in jewelry slots though your
2610s talismans and your and your uh rings and
2614s they only last for the season now when
2617s items transferred to the Eternal realm
2619s uh they disappear
2621s forever and they build on top of your
2624s witchcraft Powers you know they're going
2625s to provide item and skill bonuses for
2627s certain witchcraft combinations so if
2630s you really like the pirano for example
2632s you're going to be investing in hexan or
2635s and if you invest a lot in hexan or it
2637s probably is wise to try and find an
2639s occult gem that also Builds on top of
2642s those things as well and that'll really
2644s allow you to fully enhance your build
2647s while you're entering and then playing
2649s through the
2650s endgame all right so we've talked a bit
2652s about Ault gems um while we were putting
2657s all this together uh for season of
2659s Witchcraft we also saw some really good
2662s opportunities to improve the quality of
2664s life of the whisper Loop so let's talk
2666s through a couple of those right now
2668s first off we've updated the town area
2671s around uh the tree of Whispers uh
2674s previously it was kind of small it was
2676s you know home to a number of outcasts
2678s and that group of outcasts has grown uh
2680s this season not only do the witches make
2683s home there but there's a couple of new
2685s people there that provide additional
2686s services and we've also actually put an
2689s extra Armory in there too so you can
2691s make use of that now while you're out in
2694s head hunts we've also added uh a new
2697s feature called The Raven of the tree and
2699s this allows you to basically make uh uh
2703s submissions to the tree of Whispers turn
2706s in your Grim favor in order to be able
2708s to get a cache immediately on the spot
2711s instead of having to return to the you
2713s know the tree of Whispers itself and you
2717s know it's convenient sure but it also
2719s allows you to really stay in the moment
2721s if for example a you know a new boss is
2723s triggered or something like that from an
2725s uprooted cocoon and you want to join in
2727s that you go over to the Raven of the
2729s tree turn in your Grim favor and then
2731s get right back into the battle again and
2734s finally we've got some ancestral caches
2736s these are a new type of cach that we've
2738s added that guarantees an ancestral item
2741s and we wanted to make sure just that the
2743s whisper Loop had you know full range of
2745s items that it could drop so we're pretty
2748s excited to be able to share all of these
2749s with you as well as some new
2752s improvements uh to the season Journey so
2755s let's talk through those real quick now
2757s with the season Journey uh we realized
2759s that a lot of casual players use the
2762s season Journey as a way to figure out
2764s what to do next and uh we also realized
2768s that our early chapters hadn't really
2770s been helping the Casual players as much
2773s as we would have liked so we've reworked
2775s a lot of those early objectives to help
2779s casual players more because we want to
2781s see more of them get into the
2783s endgame now the later chapters though
2785s didn't feel especially challenging to us
2787s so we've tried to improve that chapter 7
2790s especially we've reworked to really
2792s provide some more aspirational goals for
2795s players and uh this is something that
2798s we're just going to continue working on
2800s in future Seasons as well now we've
2802s asked you do a lot more in terms of the
2804s objectives so we wanted to make sure we
2806s gave you a really great reward too so
2809s this is where you can earn Dorian The
2810s Raven and like I said at the top this is
2813s our first flying pet which is pretty
2815s awesome so let's take a look
2818s you know I am pretty excited to get
2820s Dorian I have a feeling that flying pets
2823s are pretty much going to be my new
2824s favorite moving forward so yeah
2827s definitely looking forward to this one
2829s oh yeah dorian's GNA be wonderful you
2831s know Ravens love shinies so him picking
2833s up your gold is just perfect yeah right
2836s on GRE Point
2838s yeah and finally I think uh I'd like to
2842s chat through some uh PTR stuff so um
2846s Charles is going to cover a lot of the
2847s updates we made to the powers and oult
2849s gems because that's what his team
2851s focused on uh but the season team really
2853s focused on some of the head hunts and
2855s systems and took a lot of your feedback
2859s and uh really tried to improve the game
2861s prior to launch so uh here's a couple
2864s things that I I just want to cover real
2866s quick first off uh the multiplayer head
2868s hunts felt overwhelming for a lot of new
2871s players and so we've done a number of
2874s things to tweak the head hunts to make
2876s sure that they don't feel feel as
2878s overwhelming first off we've you know
2880s made some targeted reductions to the
2882s number of Elites there were just a lot
2884s of elites on the
2885s PTR and so you're still going to have a
2888s lot of monster density as you're
2890s fighting through these head Hunts uh but
2892s hopefully this will uh make things a
2895s little more manageable uh because we
2899s also had to uh reduce the number of um
2903s uh not the number of bosses but the
2906s frequency at which they spawned uh we've
2908s got bad luck protection to make sure
2911s that you know uh you will eventually see
2914s a boss spawn as you're playing through a
2915s head hunt but we had to dial that down
2917s just a little bit because they were
2919s coming up quite quite often um we've
2922s also reduced the number of low value
2923s item drops you know we had heard from a
2925s number of you that you were spending
2927s more time picking up a lot of items that
2929s really weren't good instead of actually
2932s battling the head rotten which is what
2934s we want you to do uh We've also reduced
2936s the number number of active head hunt
2938s zones from five to four and then finally
2942s we're going to add a new Hut element um
2945s a number of folks had pointed out that
2947s it wasn't really clear that completing
2948s Whispers was the thing that actually
2950s triggered the roots and then the cocoons
2953s and so we've got a Hut element that will
2955s definitely illustrate that better
2958s unfortunately that's not going to come
2959s till release 211 which is going to be
2962s roughly two weeks out from
2964s launch now head rotten especially bosses
2967s were not challenging enough so that's
2969s another thing that we've looked to
2970s address we've increased the head rotten
2973s barrier effect previously it was round
2975s half Health we've made that full health
2976s now and we gave the head rotten a very
2979s small percentage of damage reduction as
2981s well um we've given you a lot of cool
2984s new powers in form of Witchcraft to play
2986s with we want to make sure the head
2988s rotten serve as a a good challenge for
2990s you as you're building out your
2991s witchcraft
2993s Powers um next up head rotten bosses
2996s were just not re rewarding enough across
2998s the board so we've increased their
3000s rewards to a level that's closer to a
3002s blood Maiden than what they were
3004s previously and then finally some players
3007s didn't quite understand how to earn an
3008s upgrade witchcraft so we made some
3010s changes to help with that uh each alter
3014s is going to contain the same inventory
3016s now instead of having unique inventories
3019s and that way you don't need to try and
3020s figure out which altar you need to go to
3022s in order to learn something and we've
3025s also Rewritten a lot of the tool tips
3027s descriptions to make sure that uh we're
3030s very clear about where you can go to get
3033s things um but yeah I think that covers
3036s it for PTR
3038s learnings and I'm trying to think if
3040s there's anything else but I think I'll
3041s pass it back to uh yeah no I think you
3044s you covered all of it Dan that was uh
3046s that was incredible that was a absolute
3049s ton of content uh there's just so much
3051s to dive into with this season like I
3053s think I can speak for everyone like
3054s between Roo holes witchcraft Powers Ault
3057s gems like there's just so much in the
3058s mix to dive in and get used to and like
3060s it all kind of comes back to head hunts
3062s that you can kind of use as a Zone to
3063s get through like to get into all the
3065s content uh which is super exciting so
3067s Dan thanks so much for walking us
3068s through all of that um I know we've got
3070s more details coming out uh in our patch
3072s notes following the stream and we do
3074s have some of those witchcraft Powers
3075s already existing in our blog so if you
3076s want more information on those you can
3077s check those out um but Dan's going to

3093s all of you who are kind of theory
3095s crafting and build crafting and thinking
3096s about like okay what's my play style
3098s going to be for season of Witchcraft
3099s you're probably already thinking about
3100s the different Ault gems the different
3102s witchcraft Powers but to finish off that
3104s equation of course you need to get all
3105s the balance updates for the season yeah
3107s so Charles can you take us through
3109s what's uh what's coming of course yeah
3110s I'd love to talk about you know how
3111s you're going to attack these head rotten
3113s like what is your build going to look
3114s like and and what are some of the the
3115s new uh unique and legendaries that
3117s you're going to get to play with in this
3119s season uh first before we getting into
3121s each individual class I want to talk
3122s about some of our uh broader initiatives
3124s on the class design side that kind of uh
3126s affect every class in in some way uh
3129s specifically wanted to talk about um how
3130s we did some ultimate skill updates in
3132s this patch uh for ultimate skills uh
3135s we're now uh you were're able to get uh
3137s skill ranks on them starting in uh in
3139s season six the previous season but now
3142s once you get them up to uh rank five
3144s you're going to get a special bonus and
3146s we found these to be really flashy and
3147s fun on the PTR people love playing with
3149s ultimat and you get to cast them more
3151s often they've got more effects they had
3153s some scaling um to way ways to scale
3156s their damage with these rank five
3157s bonuses sometimes MH we did find that
3160s some of those exact scaling numbers were
3162s a little on the higher side they were a
3164s little bit uh more powerful and kind of
3166s crowding out non-ultimate builds we love
3168s that people are playing these and we
3169s want them to be powerful but there are
3171s certainly sometimes when it's a little
3172s too much and it feels like you can't
3174s play anything else so we are taking a
3176s pth across the board on some of those
3178s ultimate scallions to bring them down
3180s just a little bit but we still expect
3181s them to be very powerful and very
3183s fun secondarily we've got the summons
3186s update this was a big pass across uh
3189s summons from Necromancer their skeletons
3192s Druid companions uh Rogue Shadow clone
3195s is a big one oh yes um and then even uh
3197s Sorcerer conjurations And the uh the
3201s Barbarian ancients even uh so for the
3203s summons update without getting too
3205s technical into it uh essentially what
3207s happened was all of the damage that your
3210s summons do is going to be attributed to
3213s the player and not to a separate uh
3215s entity that's kind of separated from you
3217s and what that ultimately means is that
3219s it will all of those summons will now
3221s inherit your damage bonuses more
3223s consistently anything that says you deal
3225s increased damage affects your summons
3227s just out of the box it works for
3229s everything it's just more consistent
3231s interaction across the board any of your
3233s lucky hit effects that says hey you've
3235s got a lucky hit chance to stun an enemy
3237s all of the damage from your summons also
3239s can trigger that now and this is uh
3241s great for consistency across the board
3243s previously it was sometimes inconsistent
3245s what would work with
3247s what uh and I'm particularly excited
3249s about Shadow clone as we'll talk about
3251s in the Rogue section coming up but that
3253s was one that you know historically
3255s really never hit the mark for an
3256s ultimate skill and with with this new
3259s update we think Shadow clone is going to
3261s really live up to the to the promise of
3263s like really duplicating your actions in
3266s a way that feel meaningful and does tons
3268s of damage exactly like you'd expect it
3270s to oh it's going to be very powerful I'm
3271s looking forward to it and summons truly
3273s are just an extension of you now and all
3276s of your power they're inheriting all of
3278s that properly and they're going to blast
3280s it's going to be great absolutely uh the
3283s one last uh kind of big picture item
3285s that we took away from the PTR was about
3288s uh crowd control effects uh we noticed
3290s that there is a whole lot of what i'
3292s call incidental crowd control effects
3294s things that happen from Lucky hits or
3296s procs uh specifically from the worldly
3299s Fortune tempering manual that gives you
3301s lucky hit chance to stun or chance to to
3304s freeze an enemy as well as particularly
3306s from the fist of Fate unique item uh we
3309s found that uh it was often the the most
3312s common way to build your character in
3314s the late game was to really stack up
3315s these effects and then you're just
3317s applying a lot of crowd control on this
3318s lucky hit Cadence rather than actively
3321s pressing crowd control buttons or really
3323s opting into it and we do think that once
3325s it gets to a certain point of that it
3327s can make our combat less engaging where
3330s you know enemies just randomly get
3332s stunned or Frozen without you really
3334s having too much input into that and but
3336s then it also makes it very frustrating
3338s when you know you don't lucky hit and an
3340s enemy hits you that you expected to have
3342s got hit with this um so we're looking to
3345s uh potentially address that in a future
3348s season or future updates we don't have
3350s any changes regarding the crowd control
3352s here in season 7 but it's one of those
3354s examples of the learnings uh that we're
3357s going to take forward to Future seasons
3359s and potentially look at improving this
3360s so that we can make our combat feel that
3362s much more engaging and actually get a
3364s little bit of back and forth between you
3366s and the enemies a bit more than there
3367s currently is especially in the the hyper
3369s late game situation when your characters
3371s are really maxed
3373s out so with that in mind let's get on to
3376s some of the individual classes starting
3378s with the
3379s Barbarian so the Barbarian on the the
3382s season 7 PTR was performing quite
3384s solidly we were pretty happy with where
3386s Barbarian landed we are really excited
3389s about Hammer of the Ancients and this
3390s this earthquake build with the new
3392s unique which we'll show in a moment um
3394s we do think the Hammer of the Ancients
3395s part of that maybe could use a little
3396s bit uh more numerical Buffs so we threw
3399s some Buffs there as well as to Whirlwind
3401s that build was definitely falling a bit
3402s behind some of the other builds uh but
3404s on the whole we definitely expect
3405s Barbarian to be really powerful and a
3407s strong option going forward let's take a
3410s look at that new unique item the mantle
3412s of mountains Fury oh yes this empowers
3415s your Hammer of the Ancients to cause a
3417s seismic line and if that line hits an
3419s earthquake it's going to explode that
3421s earthquake for massive damage and big
3423s fire explosions looks so sweet it's very
3427s very powerful and you know right on the
3429s Barbarian fantasy of just you know
3431s hitting things with big weapons making
3432s earthquakes making
3434s explosions yeah that's that's ludicrous
3437s I love it because like the flavor of
3438s hammer of the Ancients is like hit the
3440s ground and smash it and this is just
3442s taking that and amplifying it by like a
3444s 100 times oh absolutely so really
3446s excited for this and to see uh you know
3448s how this build performs in season of the
3452s Witchcraft up next we've got the
3454s Sorceress so the Sorceress uh kind of in
3456s contrast to the barbarian was by far the
3458s weakest class on the PTR uh no getting
3461s around that we definitely we made some
3462s adjustments going into this season that
3464s we think maybe overshot and and brought
3466s sorceress down a little further than we'
3468s we'd be happy with uh particularly
3470s changes to conjuration and burning
3472s bonuses we're happy with how that
3475s affected build variety but the overall
3477s power level suffered so with that in
3479s mind we're going to do a lot of Buffs on
3481s mainly on the passive effects for the
3483s class to really kind of bring all of
3485s their their numbers up by just a little
3486s bit across the board I specifically
3489s wanted to call out our changes to
3490s searing heat and Ice fall these are
3493s legendary Paragon nodes that previously
3495s were very build specific like you would
3497s only use seran heat in a burning build
3499s uh We've made some tweaks to it where
3501s it's still good in a burning build it's
3502s probably better but it also has some
3505s applications across all builds and all
3507s damage types so these will just be a
3508s little bit more generically applicable
3510s but still very good for the build that
3511s they were initially intended for right
3514s oh with that in mind I want to show some
3515s of the uh updates to a Firebolt
3518s enchantment this is one that we had
3519s reworked as part of those burning
3521s changes and we thought even on the PTR
3523s wasn't quite hitting the mark So now
3525s dealing burning damage if you take this
3527s enchantment will have a chance to heal
3528s you for some of your maximum life which
3530s it already did and it also unleashes a
3532s bonus Firebolt onto a nearby enemy so
3535s that you can see in this clip here when
3536s enemies are burning they're just
3538s randomly firing off some extra Firebolts
3539s to nearby enemies that can really help
3541s to spread that burning and and take down
3543s big packs yeah it's its own little chain
3545s Firebolt now exactly yeah um also want
3549s to highlight some of the new uniques
3550s coming in this season so sorceress has
3552s two the strike of storm horn is a unique
3555s Focus that's going to modify your ball
3557s lightning to give you Super Ball
3559s Lightnings sometimes so it'll always
3562s fire out straightforward and it's a
3563s little bit faster and occasionally
3565s you'll get the super ball lightning
3567s which will explode for a big chunk of
3569s damage at the end in a in a cone shape
3571s and also stun enemies it's kind of like
3573s going bowling exactly you get a strike
3576s stor horn
3578s exactly alternatively you could take the
3581s other unique Focus that is being
3583s introduced in this season okun's
3584s Catalyst to kind of play ball lightning
3587s the way it's often been played in the
3588s past with this gravitational effect
3590s we've done some reworks on the
3592s gravitational aspect that previously did
3593s that and now it will be in this unique
3595s where the ball Lightnings will orbit
3597s around you and do do damage to enemies
3599s who are close by you really want to get
3600s close and in that action whereas with
3602s strike of storm horm you're playing at a
3604s little bit more of range right we really
3606s like how we're doing these like paired
3608s uniques where you kind of have a choice
3610s hey what Focus do I want to use they are
3613s going to be mutually exclusive you can't
3614s have both but that's that's because
3616s they're so different and they they are
3618s different play Styles but we think
3620s putting these into different uniques
3622s gives us the space to to really live up
3625s this fantasy you know give lots of
3627s affixes and bonuses that make it as
3629s powerful and and really to help enhance
3631s that uh that fantasy that we're we're
3633s hoping uh to play yeah and Oak's
3635s Catalyst really gives you that like
3637s transformative ball lightning experience
3639s which is like the orbiting ball
3640s lightning but strike of storm horn kind
3642s of just amplifies the original ball
3644s lightning experience which to just shoot
3646s it out and have it explode in This
3648s Magnificent blast of energy so I love
3651s that we uh are allowing both of those to
3653s shine
3654s absolutely all right on to the next
3656s class we've got the Druid so Druid on
3659s the PTR did have one bugged build one of
3662s their legendary Paragon nodes was
3663s causing their damage to scale way higher
3665s than we intended occasionally we'd even
3668s kind of break the game and go you'd see
3669s negative damage numbers definitely not
3671s intended we fixed that book um but
3673s despite that we think Druid on the whole
3675s was still in a solid place even with
3677s without that uh We've made a a number of
3681s adjustments and reworked the the Blurred
3683s Beast aspect this is one that we had
3685s tried out or work on the PTR and it
3688s wasn't quite hitting the mark it wasn't
3690s quite as engaging to play as we had
3691s hoped so we did a re rework to it to uh
3695s uh help improve uh the The Shred builds
3698s for werewolf additionally I wanted to
3700s highlight some of the spirit Boon
3701s updates these were the the Druid class
3703s mechanic you you get these Spirit Boon
3706s um historically they've been a little
3708s bit falling behind and we've done some
3709s big Buffs here to make them really
3711s powerful I especially like the gift of
3713s the Stag it's my favorite one it gives
3715s you passive spirit generation every
3717s second yeah that really helps smooth out
3719s druid's early game in particular when
3721s they're they're struggling to really get
3722s their their resource engine online they
3725s they were definitely one of the slower
3726s classes early on and I think this update
3729s to the spirit Boons is going to really
3730s help that yeah totally and that's just
3731s such a great example of how the update
3733s is going to help them because uh Drews
3735s have typically struggled with generating
3737s spirit in the early game and so having
3738s more access to that's going to help a
3740s ton yeah yeah let's take a look at a
3742s clip of the new blur Beast rework so on
3745s the PTR it had uh it would do some bonus
3748s strikes based on how far you traveled
3751s now your shred will just always have a
3752s chance to land additional strikes but
3754s it's going to roll that Randomness four
3756s times so if you get real lucky on your
3758s shred you're going to hit so many times
3760s on that Target which really helps
3762s amplify the the the fantasy of werewolf
3764s striking fast striking multiple times
3766s yeah this aspect is super fun to play
3768s and I absolutely love what the art team
3770s did with this combining the mechanics of
3773s you know that feedback on the extra
3774s strikes with the actual additional slash
3776s is going out it looks
3779s awesome all right on to the Rogue so the
3782s Rogue was a very strong class on the PTR
3784s we thought it was it was in a great spot
3786s very powerful particularly with rain of
3788s arrows yeah uh rain of Arrow builds were
3791s already a pretty common pretty powerful
3794s build before the season but with the new
3796s changes to introduce the additional
3797s scaling damage on it they were just
3799s absolutely top yeah so I will say that
3802s of course as part of addressing the
3804s ultimate changes across the board did
3806s bring down the scaling a little bit on
3807s rain of arrows but we do think that it's
3809s still going to be a very compelling
3810s Choice Rogue and ultimate skills are
3812s going to be just fine going forward into
3814s the season it'll be good also I wanted
3817s to talk a little bit about Shadow clone
3818s I know I teased that earlier with the
3819s summons update uh Shadow clone was
3822s probably one of the the biggest updates
3824s in this season to really make sure it
3826s worked with all of your damage all of
3828s your bonus effects all of your procs and
3831s especially work with a lot of your
3832s legendary effects that modify your
3834s skills so previously if you had say uh
3837s if you're using flurry and you had the
3839s aspect of encircling blades that would
3840s cause flurry to hit all around you your
3843s Shadow clone wouldn't know that you have
3845s that it would just kind of attack like a
3846s normal flurry with this update it'll now
3849s copy all of your legendary effects just
3851s as if you were casting the skill
3852s yourself it comes from the shadow clone
3855s and it works with all of those
3856s modifications and that's huge absolutely
3859s it's a lot of a lot more damage yeah
3861s yeah really think you know I love rain
3863s of arrows I love death trap the other
3865s ultimate options on Rogue but I think
3867s Shadow clone it's it's its time to shine
3870s this season Shadow clone hit the gem
3872s absolutely let's take a a look at a clip
3875s of uh the new Shadow clone in action so
3878s here we've got the aspect of CC blades
3880s the flurry that I mentioned earlier oh
3882s baby doing the big AOE around both you
3884s and the shadow clone additionally with
3887s uh twisting uh twisting blades when they
3889s come back and orbit around you that
3891s blade dancers aspect they'll also come
3893s back and orbit around your Shadow clone
3895s wonderful
3897s Charles you're going to make me do a
3898s rogue flurry Shadow clone build this
3900s season yeah it should be great let me
3902s know how that works
3905s out all right on to the
3907s Necromancer so the Necromancer was
3910s probably the class that benefited most
3913s from uh a bug with uh the scaling of the
3916s ultimates as I mentioned there there
3917s were some scaling with different stats
3920s and whenever there was two stats
3922s involved uh particularly on Army of the
3924s dead then it was actually increasing the
3926s damage far higher than we had intended
3928s so we have fixed that bug and we've
3930s addressed it um but with that in mind
3933s Necromancer is definitely the biggest
3934s benefit of the summons update I know
3936s Shadow clone is great but you know
3938s Necromancer is the summons class so they
3941s have have by far the most all of their
3944s uh skeletons and their Golems are now
3946s going to much more consistently interact
3948s with your lucky hit procs your bonus
3950s damage effects anything that you know
3952s increases your damage output will also
3954s increase the damage output of your
3956s minions and on the whole we really
3959s expect the summon Necromancer to be at
3961s its peak going into this season amazing
3963s so channeling my Adam Jackson here
3966s minion stoms hi minion stoms are
3969s absolutely going up this season for
3972s sure additionally we've got some uh new
3976s just like the the sorcerer we've got uh
3978s two uniques that talk to blood wave the
3981s unique uh or the legendary sorry the
3984s ultimate skill uh we two different uh
3987s unique pants that can enhance your blood
3989s wave in different ways let's take a look
3991s at a clip of those so first we've got
3993s indra's memory and this is going to be
3996s kind of your standard blood wave you
3997s know it still flies forward but when it
3999s hits the end it's going to trap enemies
4001s in a bone prison additionally it
4004s modifies your bone spear to also become
4007s a blood skill now you've got a blood
4009s spear right and with the inherent
4012s afficere casting your bone spear reduces
4014s blood waves cool down it really promotes
4016s the Synergy between Blood and Bone and
4019s you're going to get a nice Loop of hey
4021s cast The Blood wave and then trap them
4023s in that bone prison hey that's perfect
4025s for lining up this this uh blood Spear
4028s and by casting that you're going to
4030s reduce the cool down in your blood wave
4031s to be ready for the next pack right this
4033s unique alone really makes Blood and Bone
4036s like a Blood and Bone build come alive
4038s which is cool
4040s absolutely the alternative you could use
4044s cami's Legacy
4046s this one changes blood wave instead of
4048s one wave going forward you've got two
4051s crashing in from both sides and it's
4053s going to pull enemies towards you and
4055s when it hits it's going to do a big
4056s pulse of damage in the middle that's
4058s awesome it's so cool it's very
4060s transformational in the way you think
4061s about it the way you position it and
4063s what your use case is right it's not for
4065s pushing enemies away it's for bringing
4067s them in close and and really wantan to
4069s be in the thick of combat there yeah it
4071s really makes me think about like a more
4073s melee or close range centered necro
4075s build
4076s where's memory makes think about a range
4079s necro build absolutely this is you know
4081s pulls them in perfect for setting up a
4082s blood surge to hit enemies right around
4085s you so definitely looking forward to see
4088s you know a blood wave being played in in
4090s a number of different ways in this new
4093s season and finally we've got the spirit
4096s born of course our newest class which is
4099s very strong uh it was very strong in the
4101s previous season or or what's currently
4103s live on season six we did some
4105s adjustment to some of the bugged
4107s interactions that was causing their
4108s damage to scale way higher than intended
4111s as well as a handful of Nerfs across the
4113s board going into the PTR that being said
4116s on the PTR we still found them to be
4117s very strong class uh arguably still the
4120s strongest um so with that in mind we
4123s didn't really make too many changes we
4124s really wanted to make sure that we
4126s brought some of the other classes up to
4128s that level and and we we think that
4130s Spirit born is in a good place so there
4131s was actually very minimal amount of
4133s numerical adjustments to Spirit born
4135s going into this season with that in mind
4138s I wanted to highlighted the Razer Wings
4139s build there's a new uh new unique item
4142s the sunst standed War crosier as well as
4144s a new aspect the aspect of endless
4146s Talons that's going to really help
4148s enhance this Razer Wing build I think
4149s we've got a clip of
4151s that so we've got the sun stained war
4154s crer and that's going to enhance all of
4157s your focus skills uh they they
4160s automatically benefit from all their
4161s upgrades you don't need to invest skill
4162s points in there and they and by casting
4165s it you increase damage of your potency
4166s skill your razor Wings whenever you're
4168s casting Focus skills as razor Wings is a
4170s potency skill yes
4172s absolutely yeah so we're really looking
4174s forward to to seeing how uh this razor
4176s Wings was maybe a little bit
4177s underrepresented on on the current
4179s season and we really looking forward to
4181s these this unique and uh the new
4183s legendary to really to really bring it
4184s up to
4186s part all right so that covers our class
4189s updates and and once again I kind of
4191s went at high level for each class
4193s because the actual number of changes
4194s were rather um you know there's a lot
4197s more than we we didn't want to just
4198s throw up all the numbers for every
4199s single class um so I kind of printted a
4202s broad picture make sure you check out
4203s the patch notes for the actual changes
4205s that should be coming right after this
4207s stream yeah the patch notes are massive
4209s so buckle up for those they're they're
4210s quite long we went through those that
4212s would be like a 4our stream so yeah but
4214s uh dive into those post stream
4215s absolutely luckily for some of the
4217s occult gems and witch power updates we
4219s could fit kind of all the changes under
4221s the slides so we're going to go into uh
4222s a bit more numbers here so let's take a
4224s look at what we made updates on the ult
4226s gems I think on the whole ult gems were
4229s pretty strong they were really hitting
4230s that Mark of they they were appealing to
4232s put into your your jewelry the Rings and
4234s The Amulet they give you a lot of
4237s Defense um and a lot of other bonuses
4239s some of the bonuses maybe a touch high
4241s so we brought uh some of them down by
4243s just a little bit right we still think
4244s on the whole these are going to be
4246s really exciting moments to be able to
4247s craft these once you get those
4249s heads I really like to call out the
4251s update to witching hour here at the end
4254s this is a Ault gem that modifies your
4256s core skill to gain the eldrich tag and
4259s that enables some really interesting
4260s synergies that uh you know you'll be
4262s able to explore once you get your hands
4264s on the full witchcraft system um but
4266s when it had a timer of 5 Seconds in
4268s order to do this it was really hard to
4269s build around yeah and now reducing that
4271s down to 1 second means you can much more
4273s consistently uh benefit from this effect
4275s and it really opens up the build
4276s possibilities with the witching hour
4277s occult gem it was a bit too slow paced
4279s for how fast Diablo 4 is right now but
4282s you know with one second on the timer it
4284s should be a lot more playable for sure
4287s we've also made some updates to the
4288s witch powers themselves and uh for the
4291s witch powers we think in general these
4294s were probably a touch weak weaker than
4296s we'd like so across the board there's
4298s there's some some numerical improvements
4301s uh especially on the the poison frog
4303s servant my favorite the little
4305s frog H yeah oh man he he got big buff
4308s love love that guy following us around
4310s and uh you know spitting the poison and
4312s exploding if he ever dies yep um so yeah
4315s on the whole we think witch powers were
4317s were pretty good I love how flashy they
4318s are in particular and just how impactful
4321s they they look and feel art team did a
4323s great uh job with all of these knocked
4325s it out of the
4327s park all right and with that in mind
4329s there's also still one additional new
4331s witch power that we did not have on the
4333s we've got the force of will now this is
4335s a psyche witch power that empowers your
4338s overpowers when you kill an enemy your
4340s next overpower is going to gain some
4341s increased damage up to a maximum and if
4344s you rank it up to at least rank four
4346s it'll Empower your next two overpowers
4348s excellent this was one that we were not
4350s able to get out on the PTR in time it
4352s had uh some issues but it was being in
4354s development but for the actual season
4356s launch we're going to have this uh out
4358s there and available we know it kind of
4359s really rounds out the roster of which
4361s powers that were available y uh we had
4363s you know one less psyche power than the
4365s others this is the last one and we
4367s didn't really have too much support in
4368s there for overpower builds and now we do
4371s voila so really excited about this one
4373s and uh help to empower overpower
4377s all right so I think that wraps up all
4378s of our uh balance changes once again
4380s check out the patch notes for the exact
4382s details uh but hope this you know gets
4384s your your minds turning for for build
4386s crafting for next uh week when the
4388s season launches yeah there is absolutely
4390s ton of chew on like I went into the
4392s stream absolutely thinking it was going
4393s to roll spear borne again and now I'm
4395s thinking I'm going to have to go Barb or
4396s Shadow clone Rogue like those are so
4398s sweet got my decisions cut up for me
4401s that's for sure absolutely and with the
4402s Armory you're going to be able to pick
4403s you know one class and a bunch of bills
4406s all them I think what better thing to
4408s get into now than tell us about the
4410s Armory oh yeah I would love to yeah so
4413s for those who don't know the Armory is a
4415s tool that you can use to uh basically
4418s save a load out that you've constructed
4420s uh so you're going to be able to save
4422s your skills that you've picked you're
4423s going to be able to save the equipment
4425s you've used you're going to be able to
4426s save the Paragon points you've put in
4428s and you're going to be able to imprint
4429s it onto one of these slots in the armor
4431s you see on the left here in this image
4433s like this build or excuse me this uh
4435s character has crush hand touch uh Touch
4437s of death or touch that quill razor wings
4440s and pay back so you know this is a
4441s spirit born that has saved a bunch of
4443s different builds there um it's really
4445s wonderful because um you know if you
4449s want to try a different build like if
4450s you want to try Touch of death but
4452s you've spent a really long time um
4454s working on crushing hand you don't have
4456s to worry about do like changing all of
4458s that manually anymore with the Armory
4460s you can just do it automatically once
4461s you've created that build you save it
4462s and then you can swap to it whenever you
4464s want these loadout slots are also
4466s character bound so you know you make a
4468s spear born and then you decide you later
4470s want to swap to a necro or you know
4471s whatever um you're going to be able to
4473s Ure that you have a lot of variety to
4475s play in each character class uh another
4478s thing about loadouts is that you know
4480s they don't cause gold to change so
4481s you're not going to have a bunch of
4482s significant gold overhead uh when you're
4485s actually swapping these so you don't
4486s have to worry about that at all which is
4488s very nice um and uh the Armory can be
4491s accessed through a bunch of different
4493s places in sanctuary as well including uh
4495s major cities the dark Citadel the tree
4498s of Whispers of course which is a major
4500s focal point of season s and training
4502s areas so that if you're trying to test
4505s certain things you can really easily uh
4507s make adjustments without having to um
4510s you know spend a lot of time on
4512s that uh and finally we've got a few PTR
4514s updates uh that where we gathered
4516s feedback from the PTR we have improved
4518s the button Clarity from the PTR if you
4520s see in the image the little highlighted
4522s white box section that should be more
4524s clear uh than it was in the PTR and we
4528s heard you guys about uh easier Loadout
4530s deletion we're going to make sure that
4532s that is much easier to do in
4537s 2.11 and next up uh we have some
4540s gameplay updates so these are just some
4542s miscellaneous things that are coming in
4544s season 7 related to systemic gameplay uh
4547s so I'll just go through these one by one
4548s here we have Paragon migration so any
4553s experience that you earn uh on your
4555s paragon levels in the seasonal realm
4558s once the season is over are going to be
4560s added to your Eternal realm season uh
4563s rather your Eternal realm Paragon level
4566s so if you earn a bunch of paragon XP in
4568s season 6 and then season 6 ends all of
4571s that Paragon XP is going to be added to
4573s your Eternal Paragon level which is
4575s going to make reaching uh Paragon level
4577s 300 a lot more uh attainable for a lot
4580s of folks uh on the internal realm which
4582s is pretty cool yeah you just get
4583s progress every season over season on
4585s your Eternal realm um Paragon to make
4587s sure you can you can really Reach the
4588s the heights of that even if you're just
4590s a seasonal player for the most part when
4592s you hop into Eternal realm all of that
4593s progress is going to be carried over
4595s yeah and it's actually going to be
4596s really nice because it's I think the way
4597s I like to think about it is it's even if
4599s you don't play the on the Eternal realm
4601s it's kind of like a window into like how
4604s much you've played the game and how much
4606s effort you've put in and like you get to
4607s look at that number and be like oh like
4609s that's just gets higher and higher it's
4610s great uh next up we have some unique
4614s power roll updates so something that you
4616s might notice uh when you are finding
4619s unique items is that if they roll
4621s ancestral and they drop with greater
4624s fixes that doesn't affect the actual
4627s unique power roll itself in any way so
4630s it was possible to find for example a
4633s three or four greater AIX unique but
4635s then the actual power roll itself men
4638s rolled and that could feel pretty
4640s deflating oh yeah because you would get
4642s really excited that you found a unique
4643s that you wanted that had like all the a
4645s and then you look and it doesn't
4647s actually feel very usable because the
4649s power roll itself was very low we're
4651s changing this in season 7 so now the
4654s power roll floor changes based on the
4657s number of G uh greater a fixes that the
4660s unique has so the more greater a fixes
4662s it has the higher guaranteed uh role on
4666s the unique power you're going to get so
4668s when you do see that three or four
4670s greater AIX unique you want you know
4672s it's going to absolutely slap which is
4674s awesome yeah definitely that was always
4677s a little bit of a frustrating experience
4678s when you you get really excited for an
4680s item drop but then you're like well is
4681s it really better than what I currently
4683s have you know you you had to start stop
4685s and think about that based on the AIX is
4687s and the unique power role but now if you
4689s get a three or four GA hey it's you know
4692s it's going to be powerful it may not be
4693s guaranteed to be the best one but it's
4695s going to be you know one of the more
4697s powerful roles yeah
4699s absolutely uh and next up we have some
4702s other ancestral item changes so
4704s something you may have noticed if you
4705s were playing a lot of season 6 is that
4708s ancestral items uh are the only ones
4711s that can have the top uh aspect rolls
4715s and what that meant was that those
4718s ancestral items were still rolling
4720s randomly so like let's just say for the
4721s sake of argument that a non-ancestral
4723s item with an aspect could roll up to uh
4726s rank eight on that aspect but then the
4728s ancestral version could roll up to rank
4730s 11 that ancestral item was still
4733s randomly like totally randomly ring
4735s among all the different ranks and that
4737s made it seem really really really what
4741s didn't seem it was it was very rare to
4743s find the top end of these aspect roles
4745s which actually wasn't the case in
4746s previous Seasons uh and we were all
4748s feeling that in season 6 and for the
4751s completionists out there and the people
4752s who want to make sure that they have the
4753s best version of the aspects that they
4755s can uh we wanted to make sure that we
4757s changed that so now when you find these
4760s ancestral items they are going to
4761s gravitate more towards the top end of
4763s those aspect roles and should be much
4766s easier to actually fill out your
4767s collection uh of aspects than it was
4769s before in season 6 uh and then as just a
4773s totally separate but wonderful thing um
4775s we were working on uh like how often
4778s ancestral items should actually drop as
4780s a Baseline and we've just bumped that up
4782s in season 7 so you should in general
4785s find more ancestral items than you did
4786s before um and this is like a very
4790s something that feels very small but has
4792s a big impact on the season uh as a whole
4794s so that should feel a lot better in
4796s season 7 as well uh and finally
4799s something else that we were noticing in
4800s season 6 was that people were finding
4802s tons and tons of gym fragments and
4804s sometimes even capping out their gym
4805s fragments if you played enough and this
4807s problem was exacerbated in season 6 and
4809s we want to make sure that you have
4810s something to do with those gym fragments
4813s so we created a gym fragment conversion
4816s uh at the jewel crafter so we have a
4818s little clip to just show what that looks
4819s like here so we're in zarban as a
4822s sorcerer and we're next to the jeweler
4824s we're going to talk to them there's a
4825s little tab where you can go to jewelry
4828s crafting and once you're in the late
4829s game and you've already crafted all your
4831s grand gyms and you don't actually have
4832s much to do with your gym fragments
4834s anymore now you can just directly
4836s convert them into jewelry so you can
4838s craft rings and you can craft amulets
4840s and it will give you a little cache that
4842s will have a randomly rolled item um and
4846s this is just again you know it's a nice
4848s uh dump basically once you want to just
4852s uh once you finished all your grand gems
4853s and you just want to find some extra
4854s gear and these can roll as ancestral
4857s items which is wonderful um and amulets
4860s and rings can you know they have a wide
4864s uh range of potentially useful stats and
4867s so being able to just roll those more is
4868s really nice because you can actually
4870s like Target Farm the things you need
4871s absolutely yeah yeah really excited for
4873s that yep for sure uh and finally we have
4877s some kind of more quality of life
4880s centered or early game updates uh that
4882s should be really nice going forward
4884s season over season so now that we're in
4887s season 7 of Diablo I it's possible that
4890s you may have made a character of Any
4892s Given class and you might be doing it
4894s again and it's not always the most fun
4897s to go through the same content uh over
4899s and over and so because of that we
4901s wanted to make sure that you didn't
4902s actually have to do your class Quest um
4907s to unlock your class mechanic every
4909s single time you make a new character so
4912s for example if you made a sorcerer and
4914s you unlocked and ch ANS previously
4916s you're not actually going to have to do
4918s that again so when you hit level 15 on a
4920s new sorcerer in any realm you're
4923s immediately going to unlock an
4924s enchantment slot um because the game
4927s knows that you already did that before
4929s um you can however still do the class
4931s Quest if you would like but you do not
4933s have to um and again just to reiterate
4935s you do have to do the class Quest at
4938s least once on any character and then on
4940s your account it's unlocked
4943s forever um and to go along with this
4945s change we have a new uh cache that we
4948s like to call Arch type cach or ar type
4950s caches rather um so these are basically
4953s themed goodie bags so they come from a
4956s variety of sources uh you're going to
4957s get an arch type cache when you complete
4959s the class Quest you're going to get them
4961s periodically over the over the course of
4964s the Season Journey from different
4965s chapters and then eventually you're
4967s going to start earning greater archetype
4968s caches as well which have better stuff
4971s we have a clip here to basically just
4972s show off what an archetype cache looks
4974s like and what doing your class Quest
4975s looks like uh in season 7 so we have a
4978s level 15 sorcerer here who's just going
4980s to go and do their class quest which is
4982s the legacy of the Magi over here and the
4986s reason that this character might want to
4988s do the class Quest still even though
4989s let's assume that they have already made
4991s a sorcerer and have already unlocked
4993s their enchantment uh is because they're
4995s going to be getting an arc type cache so
4998s we're going to go through we're just
4999s going to do all the the stuff for legacy
5001s of the Magi get through the
5003s dungeon um but then at the end we're
5006s going to get an arch type cache and Arch
5008s type caches have items and a tempering
5011s manual that are relevant to a specific
5015s theme of Any Given class and so I'm glad
5018s we have sorcerer here because the
5019s sorcerer themes are very straightforward
5021s uh for example pyromancy or fire is one
5023s of the themes in sorcerer so here we see
5026s we have a pyromancy cache that we got
5028s from completing the class Quest we're
5029s going to open it up it's got two
5031s legendary items a tempering manual and
5033s some extra materials like bundled herbs
5035s and Angel breath and Etc uh because it
5039s was a pyromancy cache it came with a
5041s utility and a more offensive focused
5044s legendary that are related to being a
5046s pyromancy sorcerer uh it also came with
5049s a pyromancy related tempering manual so
5052s that really helps you get started on
5053s your journey as like a fire sorcerer so
5056s if you find something like that you're
5058s right out of the gate level 15 you're
5060s going to get a big jump in power and
5062s you're going to be able to dive into
5063s like what it means to be a fire s for it
5065s pretty quickly yeah I think what I
5066s really like about this change is that
5068s you know if you're just playing a new
5070s character you're you're in the flow
5072s you're doing the head hunts you're
5073s leveling up you ding hit level 15 right
5076s you think oh now I got to go do this
5078s Quest otherwise I'm missing out on Power
5080s and sometimes you know you're in that
5081s flow you don't want to stop and change
5084s shift gears and go do that class Quest
5086s you now can do it on your own time right
5088s you can instantly unlock that that power
5090s from the class mechanic and then
5092s whenever you get a chance whenever you
5093s think hey I want to go do this Quest
5095s you can go to it and then feel rewarded
5096s for getting a nice AR type cache that
5098s really maybe pushes you in a certain
5100s direction if you're unsure of how you
5102s want to build your character can help to
5103s enhance you know the pyroman SE like you
5105s mentioned yep or Frost or lightning or
5107s you know every class has its own themes
5109s so it's going to be fun to dig into
5113s that cool all right that's awesome yeah
5116s I think even for that like early game
5117s too like when you're kind of scrounging
5118s for materials and uniques it is kind of
5120s difficult to like hit that next power
5122s level so knowing that you have like a
5123s guaranteed now optional U quest to go to
5127s to get that power and I can speak for
5129s twitch thatat too uh they were very very
5131s excited to see that you did not have to
5133s do the class anymore but that it gives
5135s you this optional you know power boost
5137s in in a direction we wanted to make sure
5139s that it like wasn't worthless if you had
5141s already done it a lot we wanted to make
5143s sure that there was still something
5144s there to feel like it was a meaningful
5146s Quest so yeah but not so good that you
5147s feel like you're missing out if you're
5149s exactly exactly taking care of things
5151s over in the head hunts and things like
5152s that yep uh well that brings us to our
5155s Q&A portion of the stream so we're going
5157s to bring Dan tangue back uh and we're
5160s going to answer some of your
5161s hard-hitting questions so thank you for
5163s everyone who have dropped uh questions
5164s in twitch chat throughout the stream um
5167s I've also been laughing at your
5168s commentary throughout it's been pretty
5169s good
5171s uh so uh first off I want to drop a
5175s question from doggo asked will there be
5177s a mid-season patch with balance changes
5179s yeah I can of talk about that uh we are
5181s currently planning to have a mid-season
5183s balance patch like we do every season um
5186s I just want to reiterate some of the
5187s philosophy around mid-season patches as
5189s well um for our mid-season patches we're
5191s mainly looking at at taking the data
5194s from when the season launches so
5196s honestly we haven't started looking at
5198s the mid-season patch at all because it's
5199s so heavily driven by what actually
5201s happens when the season launches what
5203s builds are performing well what builds
5205s are not performing well if there's
5207s anything that is bugged or broken to the
5209s point where you know it's it's
5211s trivializing the game that might be
5212s something we look at in general en for
5215s midseason patches that happen well in
5218s the middle of the Season we're primarily
5220s looking to bring up the underperformers
5223s or or fix issues of of interactions that
5226s that maybe aren't quite seeing the the
5227s spotlight that we were expecting them to
5230s we're not really looking to to take the
5232s top builds and Nerf them right uh
5234s because we know players have already had
5236s time to invest in their characters
5239s they've got the gear they've they've
5240s leveled it up they've they've uh you
5242s know read build guides like hey how do I
5244s make this character and we feel like if
5246s we're taking that those down in the
5249s middle of a season that really does a
5251s disservice to players that you know you
5253s you are afraid of making the powerful
5255s thing because it might get nerfed in the
5257s mid-season so that's something we avoid
5260s um there of course sometimes rare
5262s exceptions when when they're so far
5264s above our power bar or they are
5266s literally breaking the game due to uh
5268s performance related issues which
5270s occasionally pop up um those things we
5272s still will address when we need to but
5275s in general mid-season patches are not
5277s for for nerfing strong builds if they're
5279s just strong and that's partly why during
5282s season six we knew that you know Spirit
5284s born was a very powerful class like no
5286s get around it it was definitely stronger
5288s than the other classes on season six um
5291s but that was okay we didn't want to make
5293s any kind of uh snap judgment of like oh
5295s we need to Nerf it here in mid-season we
5297s know players had been invested into it
5299s and we want to respect their time and
5301s investment into that it's important that
5302s there's a sense of security and picking
5304s a build and knowing that it is going to
5306s stay viable when you're playing it
5308s throughout the season yeah and kind of
5310s as a Cory to that whenever we do
5312s seasonal updates like launch a brand new
5314s season that is more when we're going to
5316s look and say hey what is dramatically
5318s overperforming what is crowding out the
5320s rest of the roster like Spirit born
5323s during season 6 was maybe crowding out
5325s some of the other classes we take the
5327s seasonal resets as a time to say that's
5330s when we're going to bring those builds
5331s down and that's when everyone is
5333s starting fresh on the new
5337s you're
5339s it's yeah and on the system side uh in
5342s terms of midseason changes uh it's
5345s really important to us that we have a
5347s very targeted approach to systemic
5349s changes in mid-season patches we want to
5350s make sure that we are gathering as much
5353s data as possible and as much information
5355s as we can to ensure that any tweaks we
5357s make aren't going to cause waves or
5361s changes that we weren't expecting or are
5363s undesirable uh so we really want to
5365s gather as much like Telemetry and data
5367s as possible from like how people are
5369s actually experiencing this season and
5371s then kind of patch those pain points
5373s that people uh that that we all find
5376s together um and and we want to wait to
5378s make sure that we're doing it right uh
5381s so we really want to know how people are
5383s going to be playing season of the
5384s Witchcraft uh and then we'll basically
5387s figure out what needs to happen and
5389s change from there yeah and that's why so
5391s much of the the feedback from PTR or
5394s even just throughout the regular seasons
5396s all the feedback we really do listen to
5397s it and and it's so important to us to
5399s make sure that we can make Diablo 4 as
5401s best as we possibly can it's really
5402s critical that we get that feedback and
5404s we're able to iterate on that
5406s absolutely awesome that is a super
5409s thorough answer for I mean like I I'll
5412s take all the information you got so
5413s that's fantastic uh this one's probably
5415s for you aen from oh boy okay bear with
5419s me
5421s here p pap serup Sean do the class Quest
5426s caches scale to the level when they're
5427s opened oh yes they absolutely do um so
5430s you can get it early or you can get it
5432s later but uh the arch type caches that
5435s you find in the class Quest aren't
5437s actually the only place you can find
5438s Arch type caches you're going to be able
5440s to get more from the season Journey uh
5442s and other sources as well so they're not
5444s ex they're not exactly like a super
5446s finite Supply so you don't have to think
5448s too hard about like exactly when you
5451s should be opening them um the class
5453s Quest is just one among many sources
5456s that you can earn in Arc cash you don't
5457s have to like sit on it throughout the
5458s whole season to be like all right when
5459s am I going to pop this thing yeah and
5461s nice to have some extra goodies as
5462s you're on your way to get Dorian The
5464s Raven of course because we know that's
5467s the most important thing I mean I don't
5469s want to say but dorian's pretty cool uh
5472s also on a similar thread The Collector
5473s Casey asks is the class Quest unlock
5476s retroactive as of right now or only
5478s after we complete it this season yeah so
5481s as long it's retroactive so as long as
5483s you complet it you know you've done the
5485s sorcerer Quest before on a sorcerer at
5487s any point during Diablo you're good to
5488s go nice uh from the Discord uh bacterial
5493s cool name uh can we expect the summon
5496s tag to work with minion thorns and any
5498s update on bristleback aspect working
5501s with
5504s minions uh I believe they should I I'd
5507s have to look into precisely minion
5509s Thorns I know that was a a stat that you
5512s know your your summons can inherit
5514s Thorns um that was a stat that I uh H
5520s I'd have to look into exactly
5521s bristleback aspect but as a general
5523s matter our philosophy on on Minion
5526s thorns and and minions in general is if
5528s you think it should work it should the
5531s interactions of when you deal Thorns
5533s damage it should if your minions are the
5536s ones triggering that Thorns damage it
5538s should count as if you had dealt it um I
5542s I don't have that right in front of me
5543s that particular interaction but that is
5545s our philosophy and if that's not
5547s happening then we'll look to address it
5548s and improve that moving forward cool

5576s grappling with throughout the life of
5577s Diablo because you know there's so much
5579s happening especially when you have an
5581s AME build um and you know if that gets
5585s so out of hand like uh with new seasonal
5588s mechanics or new powers or legendary
5590s aspects that we create it's something
5592s that we'll be taking a look at uh every
5593s time something like that comes up yeah I
5595s totally get it too because like when
5596s you're playing Spirit boorn like you
5598s know what to look for as you're casting
5599s these abilities but if you're just
5601s around it then it can be a little
5602s overwhelming like when I have friends
5604s that come by that perhaps haven't played
5605s a Diablo game before they're like how do
5607s you know what to look at it's like you
5608s just kind of figure it out um but I can
5610s totally see how that could be um a bit
5612s of a a distraction on the screen
5616s um oh angin San for the Q&A how do
5621s hydras work with the new summoning
5622s changes and how does burning damage work
5624s in comparison to poison another very
5627s technical question absolutely so so
5629s luckily um you know I did include the
5631s sorcerer conjurations in the summons
5633s update when I talked about them but
5635s actually for the most part the the
5637s conjurations were already behaving this
5639s way and that was part of the
5640s inconsistency that I kind of had glossed
5642s over said hey they were inconsistent and
5645s you know since now we're in the more
5646s technical part the inconsistency was
5648s that uh most of the sorcer conjurations
5650s were already behaving the way that we
5653s wanted them to right um where the damage
5655s was being uh attributed to the player
5657s and it was actually the necro minions
5660s and uh Shadow clone and Druid companions
5663s primarily that were uh not as
5666s interactive as we would have liked um so
5668s with that in mind there's actually no
5670s real functional changes to the way that
5672s Hydra uh works with this um I don't
5674s believe Hydra was really touched but it
5675s was actually used as kind of the example
5678s of how we wanted to implement and uh
5680s make the other summons
5682s work uh one question I do want to take
5685s really quickly that I've seen throughout
5686s chat I mean it was really hard to ignore
5689s um people are asking where Adam was I
5691s mean I think we just have to address it
5692s straight up Adam Fletcher
5694s um is no longer with blizzard which is
5697s really too bad so uh you won't really be
5699s seeing him in a whole lot of other
5700s streams so really sorry to disappoint

5754s serviceable to get started uh but we
5756s know it's a really really important
5757s topic for the community so it's
5759s something that we're going to
5760s continuously look at and we're going to
5762s be looking a lot of feedback on the
5763s Armory to make sure that it's as smooth
5765s as possible all the time um and to that
5768s end you know uh we will be taking that
5771s into consideration no concrete plans
5773s right now but it's something you know
5774s it's one of the topics that we have um
5777s and our again our ultimate goal is to
5779s make the Armory just basically the most
5782s uh streamlined version of itself that it
5784s can be so look for Armory improvements
5787s in the future for sure awesome cool and
