181s it's like nothing that we had in D4 pure
184s hatred their mephisto's army they wanted
187s them to feel a little bit more different
188s from your typical demon family
190s everyone's quality was top-notch but at
192s the time we didn't know if it was going
194s to work I think what we landed is is
196s going to turn some heads this is not
199s your normal thing it's it's the living
201s form of hatred
210s the new monster class that we could to
212s introduce they're called Hollows these
215s Hollows have actually been around for
217s like Millennia Mesto at some point did
220s go to nantu a long long long time ago
223s and these Hollows were a reaction of
226s Mesto being in nantu at the time and
229s then they went
231s dormant bringing Mesto in the Soul Stone
236s um seems like the right thing to do for
239s nrow but it has a chain reaction that I
243s don't think anybody was prepared
246s for the hollows are really Rife
250s throughout the hantu now that Mesto is
252s back and just visually like horribly
255s disgusting and sort of made up of the
258s things that have been consumed by the
260s hollows yeah they're an extension of
263s evil infecting wildlife and other
266s monsters and people with this thing
268s called ier and they were just sort of
270s going
272s mad when we're designing the hollows the
276s the main thing that we wanted to push
279s was just if if hatred came to life what
282s would it look like so we were thinking
285s this black goo that's kind of like
288s formless but also have this red anger
291s energy inside of it and then with
294s Concept we just want to make you know
296s cool monsters what if it's three legs
299s what if it's no legs is what if it has
300s like three arms so we pushed a lot of
303s like options and exploration and then
306s from then on like everyone from
308s narrative to design and concept would
310s talk about and it's like okay we like
311s this one and then we can push it and
313s move
316s further the hollow family is made up of
318s four members the swarmer the spitter the
322s caster and the
324s brutes the big thing for me was that the
327s family need to be overwhelming with
330s without just relying on pure numers so
332s they're going to get stronger over time
333s if you let them Fester their their their
336s hatred after all the swarmer can
338s teleport and attack you from behind
341s sides the spitter is a slug with legs
344s they spew out this momit stream of Goo
348s root is the big hulking slow guy of the
351s family he has the shield that's buffing
354s and making the rest of the Army stronger
356s Caster is responsible for creating new
359s swarmers they also will Channel onto a
361s specific Hollow and view them with extra
364s hatred makes them stronger and more
366s deadly the holters RO serve as a elegant
370s hovering yet maning danging character in
373s a game really informed many of our
376s design ideas when we want to make a new
379s variant we want to know in which
382s specific area we would going to see that
385s character or creature readability is
387s like the main focus went through several
391s iteration on the design the texture the
393s materials and the camera testing the day
396s after she gave me like I what was 10
399s different variations okay now we are
402s talking the emission on the spikes
405s really like did an awesome job uh to
409s boast on the the cette and also to
412s improve the readability and in the end
415s we have the version that we were both
418s happy withs and yeah hand it over to the
421s tech
423s artist we had some really strong
425s narrative Direction in understanding how
428s big of a role hatred played and we knew
431s that we needed one look to tie it all
435s together this hatred has one source and
437s it's all it's all about Mesto for the
439s hollow specifically we identified that
442s we wanted to do some special work with
445s the materials with the shaders for those
446s characters shaders are the code that
449s runs runs on the GPU that takes in all
453s sorts of inputs like textures and
455s lighting and position and outputs what
458s the object surface is supposed to look
460s like we wanted a Shader that was capable
463s of adding this sludge layer this hatred
465s layer over top of it and making it
467s Dynamic and animating so that it really
469s looks like it was constantly undulating
472s or ring so once we had this Shader
475s function we were able to kind of apply
477s that in all these different contexts
479s like the monster
480s like the environment the character
482s armors even most of the Shader work was
484s done by Alex who really took that Shader
487s function and made it work in all sorts
490s of different contexts and we also have
492s the hatred add-ons to these characters
495s these tentacles these ring hatred
498s growths all over them which was a
500s procedurally generated process that was
502s largely run by Sky on our
505s team the hollow's boss was kind of born
508s of this idea of what does a pinnacle
511s Hollow really look like we have the
513s hollow family um and that was pretty
515s well defined by the time that the
517s hollow's boss kind of came up for
519s concepting our artist Victor had a had a
522s lot of cool ideas for horror themes and
525s really wanting to push visuals with
527s contortions and like breaking the neck
529s of this monster all over the place
530s that's where we had the option to go
532s like can we push it and really get that
535s idea of what hatred and the hollows are
537s all about this Inky black acre that
541s latched on to a once powerful
544s spellcaster it was such a great source
546s of power that this particular Hollows
550s monster turned into the Priestess of
565s hatred camera
568s settle um Victor Lee a principal concept
571s artist on the uh Diablo team and I
574s concepted the Priestess of
577s hatred Victor Le is one of the ogs from
581s Diablo and he's known for creating a lot
584s of dark imagery and every time we want
586s to have a monster boss he's he's done
589s all the greats even Diablo himself one
592s of his monitors on on the side of his
595s desk is just like a dark black eye
598s staring at him and so when when we
601s needed something that's pure Darkness
603s like we had to tap
605s Vic I feel like when we're talking about
608s hatred I kind of Imagine visualize it as
611s like a black Webby like thing so I
614s thought a spider
616s configuration would work for this so I
619s did a few variations some with um Souls
624s a human Souls trapped in the abdomen
626s it's like a Purgatory because this
628s creature consumes human hum I have this
631s nagging feeling for a long time that why
635s I felt it's not working no matter how
637s interesting the design
640s is I'm not pushing the boundaries so I
644s basically rethought the whole
647s thing a lot of our creatures are just
650s like raw aggression it's just muscly and
654s and just brutal maybe this one is more
657s Insidious what if the human figure is
661s not controlling the hatred but it's the
663s other way around like the hatred is
666s actually marking Humanity it's like
670s dragging a puppet around so what I did
673s is I kept the human figure as a focal
676s point but the rest of the creature is
679s this moving mass of basically a ball of
684s hatred it broke a lot of rules but I
688s felt I just felt like this
690s just fits um so I went ahead with it and
693s rendered it
700s out I was looking at the concept for the
704s first time with the designer on the
706s feature Charles and we were kind of in
708s this stunned silence for a little bit
710s because it was this reaction of this
713s thing is so cool and then we started
717s thinking how are we even going to make
719s this thing move
720s move typically our monsters are bipedal
724s or they're quadrip heads how's it going
726s to move we can't rely on walk Cycles
728s anymore how's it going to rotate we
729s can't rely on you know the built-in
731s rotation stuff without it looking weird
733s as hell it was clear that in order to
735s make this like animate and look natural
738s we were going to have to pretty much
739s dive into Uncharted
741s Territory we wanted it to move in a very
744s unique way we wanted it to somersault
746s through the air and be super
747s unpredictable and Zippy and just have
750s like ridiculous animations as those
752s tentacles are flying all over the place
754s we had that narrative and kind of drive
756s to make it formless and with our
759s conventional rigging that we could do
761s that we were doing prototyping before
763s the feature even kicked off like we were
765s already meeting with animation and Tech
767s art to say hey we have this thing we
770s think it's really cool but we need help
771s figuring this out so we had a lot of
774s early collaboration which was really
776s what set us up for Success when the
778s animator came back with it going from
780s post to post rather than your normal
781s animations it's like yes that's it
784s that's what hatred should feel
788s like when you first find the Priestess
790s of patriot it's going to look like a
793s lifeless human corpse and you're like
796s this is doesn't look like a boss fight
798s I'm in a Boss Arena what's going on but
800s as you approach you see that the body
802s gets pulled into a giant pool of patriar
805s and then out of that pool of patriar
806s comes this giant mass of tentacles and
809s that is the
810s boss so after animation it gets to come
813s to me and I get to do all of the really
816s cool visual effects at the end show what
819s those tentacles are doing when they
821s impact the ground when they slap
822s something when they hit the player it
825s really brings the entire thing
829s together the vomit attack is really
833s gross because there's like this uh part
836s of the Torso of the humanoid that has
839s been kind of hollowed out and now has
841s teeth the tentacles come out from the
843s mass and they grab the the humanoid and
846s kind of pull the body back so that the
849s slit in the belly opens up and all of
852s the hatred just pours out a straight
853s beam it's it's pretty
857s gross the hollows are just such a unique
860s family from the moment they spawn in on
862s your screen you can tell that they are
864s different they have just such unique
867s behaviors and animations we were able to
870s execute on a vision that's really just
872s so different than what we typically do
873s the whole process like me feel very
875s proud of uh our whole team everyone just
878s got it they understood what the Monster
880s was they got the vision and it just
889s worked the eye on the screen has many
892s functions it keeps me in the right frame
896s of mind um what we're doing is dark it
901s should be horrifying I should feel the
904s fear while I'm doing it um it's a
907s reminder of that the eye also serves
912s as uh a warning like get moving don't
917s dwell too long and and wander around you
919s know get this thing
921s moving get the work done

941s another Diablo 4 campfire chat we end
943s with a creepy eyeball we were just
944s talking about this one is our patch 2.1
949s PTR uh campfire chat I know we were just
951s here last week and we were talking about
952s the mid-season update but this one is
954s kind of like the big one because we're
955s going to be talking about everything
957s coming with patch 2.1 and season 7 I am
959s joined here by Mr Colin finer Mr Charles
962s Dunn who have appeared on prior uh
964s campfire chats we were gonna have Adam
967s Jackson he's unfortunately uh not
969s feeling very well so we hope he gets
971s better soon uh and we do also have
973s another guest here who is live from
975s Albany blizzard Albany and that is Mr
977s Dan tangue uh who's going to be uh
980s talking a little bit as well about
982s what's coming up for patch 2.1 uh and
985s he's showing off his red Diablo 4 jacket
988s we have our new black diabl 4 jackets as
991s well look at this models how are you Dan

996s good and he not sure if he can hear
1001s me but either way either way uh a few
1004s things that we do want to uh talk about
1006s before we actually do jump into
1007s everything uh obviously PTR is coming up
1010s soon we are doing this stream a little
1012s early this time uh mainly because the
1014s Thanksgiving holiday is coming up here
1016s in the US uh and so we are going to be
1019s talking about some of the contents
1021s before even the patch notes are ready we
1023s do plan on having a Blog immediately
1025s after this stream uh so players can
1027s actually check out the blog and read a
1029s little bit more about what we talked
1030s about today but the patch notes will be
1032s available next Wednesday uh for players
1035s to actually check out uh so it'll be
1037s before the US holiday here so everyone
1039s can kind of dive deep into the patch
1041s notes for PTR PTR is currently planned
1044s to start on December 3rd so that will be
1047s after the US holidays here uh for
1049s Thanksgiving um so there's a ton of
1051s stuff that uh is coming up for players
1054s to kind of jump into but I know what we
1056s want to do is really just dive straight
1058s deep into all the new stuff that we do
1061s want to talk about so for uh the first
1064s thing we do want to chat about is just
1065s season 7 and what that's going to be so
1068s we're actually going to jump over to Mr
1070s Dan tangue in Albany uh to kind of walk
1073s us through so Dan do you want to take
1076s over
1079s oh no d d can't currently hear all right
1084s what so I don't know what happened I you
1086s know maybe maybe uh we we don't have
1088s satellites working or something like
1090s that so instead I guess we'll just start
1091s with classes first sure uh so uh Mr
1094s Charles done do you want to talk about
1096s class changes that are coming with
1097s season 7 I know we talked a little bit
1099s about this last week with Adam Jackson
1101s uh just a reminder sporn expect that to
1105s be addressed for season 7 and we will
1107s actually be talking a little bit about
1108s that now so uh Charles yeah absolutely
1111s I'd love to talk about uh some of the
1113s changes coming to all the different
1114s classes in Diablo 4 as well as some
1116s broader more systemic updates that are
1118s happening uh that kind of affect all
1120s classes um equally in a way um yeah so
1123s like I said uh just going through uh
1125s individual class by class um seeing
1128s seeing some of the new stuff that's
1129s coming for a lot of the um a lot of
1131s classes let's uh start with the
1133s Barbarian I believe the first one up
1135s yeah so um Barbarian is definitely a
1137s class that um you know we think a lot
1139s the classes have been uh performing uh
1141s pretty well across the board they're
1143s always a step under the spirit born um
1145s but Barbarian maybe a step and a half uh
1147s below and so we're looking at at a lot
1149s of Buffs across the board uh for them
1151s here uh specifically looking at some
1152s stuff with hammer of the Ancients uh
1154s buffing that number up here uh a little
1156s bit of a rework to the walking Arsenal
1158s passive uh previously it was um uh the
1162s bonus was was just 8% now we're going to
1165s be giving you a bigger bonus and when
1166s you have all of them active you're going
1168s to get um more attack speed and some
1170s bonus crowd control duration which we
1171s think really plays into that um that
1173s kind of build additionally we're also
1176s updating um earthquakes that has been a
1179s uh one of my favorite Builds on
1181s Barbarian right just seeing those big
1182s earthquakes come out everywhere Leake is
1184s the best Leaf Quake oh I absolutely love
1186s it um you know the visuals on that is
1188s just topnotch so we're really um we we
1190s took some lessons from what we did on uh
1192s on Rogues in the past with their uh uh
1195s stun grenades power where a lot of the
1197s legendaries that talk to stun grenad
1199s ades also had kind of this extra bit
1201s where it increased the damage of all of
1203s your stun grenades so that you kind of
1205s got these synergistic builds um with the
1207s various aspects Al together and we're
1210s extending that over to earthquakes now
1211s here so um we're adding on basically hey
1215s all these ones that talk to earthquakes
1216s just uh they increase the the damage of
1219s all of them o overall yeah it's a little
1221s bit less finicky too right cuz now it
1223s lasts after the earthquake expires if
1225s you leave it absolutely uh so we think
1228s this would just be a much more um
1230s comprehensive build um overall we also
1233s got a new legendary that talks directly
1235s to earthquakes as well uh UPS their
1237s damage and increases uh their fire turns
1240s it into fire damage and uh I think this
1243s is really cool um and as we're going to
1246s see some more stuff as actually get onto
1247s the PTR um but I think uh earthquakes
1250s and Hammer of the Ancients might be a a
1252s build that uh you're going to be very
1253s interested in combining those two uh
1255s with some of the stuff that you will see
1256s come
1258s PTR all right let's move on to uh the
1260s source uh sorceress uh sorceress one of
1263s the the key notes that we've we've
1265s noticed with uh well sorceress over uh
1268s the whole lifespan of of Diablo is
1271s Diablo 4 is that players often felt uh
1274s like they were pigeon hold into burning
1276s builds in particular uh Firebolt
1277s enchantment is probably uh probably the
1280s most used enchantment by far uh because
1282s it was just kind of a free way to apply
1284s a very small amount of burning to
1286s enemies uh but that was what you needed
1288s to to turn on a lot of the the passives
1290s in their skill tree um and and you know
1293s that that was a powerful build uh
1295s powerful interactions but we felt like
1296s that was making it everything a little
1299s too homogeneous you felt like you had to
1301s do this in order to access uh a lot of
1303s these passives and so we decided that we
1306s really want these these burning
1308s synergies to really be benefiting builds
1310s that are dedicated to Burning uh type
1312s builds and not just ones who are
1314s splashing it in with a Firebolt
1316s enchantment and so with that in mind we
1318s we did a rework on the enchantment to uh
1320s increase the uh or remove the burning
1324s damage from the enchantment and uh
1326s change it over to this which uh has a
1328s healing component to it and then we also
1331s updated a lot of those burning passes to
1332s really play better in the dedicated Fire
1335s based builds rather than being something
1337s that you just want to Splash into
1338s everything yeah hopefully there's a lot
1340s more build variety absolutely yeah that
1342s is that is one of the the main uh
1344s driving goals of a lot of our updates is
1346s increasing that build variety so you
1347s don't feel like you have to take this
1349s checklist of mandatory things before
1351s moving on to to what you actually want
1353s for your build so an example here on
1354s devouring Blaze you've got uh bonus
1358s previously it was bonus Critical Strike
1359s damage against burning enemies no matter
1361s how much they're burning for so you just
1362s apply that little bit of burning and you
1364s would get this now instead you get a
1366s bigger bonus but it's just for your
1368s pyroman C Critical Strike skill so it
1370s really encourages hey you're a fireball
1372s build you're a meteor build something
1373s that wants to do those big fire crits
1375s devouring blaz is now even more valuable
1376s for those builds and it's not something
1378s that you necessarily need to or feel
1380s compelled to Splash in other
1383s builds all right on to the next one uh
1386s we also did some updates for ball
1387s lightning so uh ball lightning the the
1390s previous upgrades uh like kind of these
1393s these Mages ball lightning and wizards
1394s ball lightning were uh about stunning
1396s enemies or or spawning some correcting
1398s energy with uh admittedly some kind of
1401s complex conditions you had to jump
1402s through a lot of Hoops to get these uh
1404s one of the things we really like to do
1406s with a lot of these updates is simplify
1407s them down and streamline and really
1409s focus in on on what the the the
1410s interesting factor is yeah makes it a
1412s little bit more modular too right so
1414s there's more builds the less sort of
1415s focus that initial step is on that scill
1417s absolutely so we've got the Mages ball
1419s lightning here that now is just
1421s increasing your Dam its damage against
1422s stunned enemies it's really that payoff
1424s for a lot of the lightning stun effects
1426s and then uh Wizards ball lightning is
1429s just always going to be generating more
1430s cracked energy just more consistent
1432s generation
1434s there all right on to uh the next one
1437s we've got um so in the new new uniques
1439s that we want to show off here on the
1440s sorc uh talking uh about ball lightning
1443s so this is actually something
1445s interesting we're doing this season
1446s where we're making two uniques that are
1449s in the same slot and they they're going
1452s to modify the skill in a different way
1453s so they they will be mutually exclusive
1455s so you can take either this one here
1457s which turns ball lightning into a kind
1460s of like a bowling ball really you you
1462s send it forward it goes pretty fast and
1464s when it hits a Target it's going to
1466s explode and kind of Splash outward and I
1469s think this is really cool it offers an a
1471s switched up play style to the way you're
1473s you're familiar with ball lightning
1474s which was kind of slow moving forward or
1477s um if you pick the other unique it you
1479s can actually retain the the old
1481s gravitational aspect so we can go on and
1483s and take a look at that one here um in
1485s the next
1488s clip right so so a lot of the ball
1491s lightning builds in the past we're we're
1493s using the gravitational aspect that
1494s cause it to rotate around you and we've
1497s um updated that and kind of reworked the
1499s gravitational aspect so that now that uh
1501s that functionality is built into this
1503s new unique and also has some you know
1505s additional bonuses uh to to encourage
1508s this kind of play style and uh obviously
1511s the gravitational aspect that used to do
1512s this has been reworked into a new cool
1514s effect that you'll be able to to demo
1515s out on the PTR as well this like a fun
1518s trade-off now and sort of how you want
1520s to use ball lightning yeah it really
1521s helps it be a bit more build defining
1523s which is our our goal for a lot of the
1525s uniques is is hey you get this unique
1526s and it feels like it's it's very uh
1528s foundational to your build one thing I
1530s do want to call out here is the inherent
1532s AIX on this right up near the top that
1534s ball lightning can be cast while moving
1537s this makes it a lot smoother to just be
1539s moving around at at um and just keep on
1541s clicking that ball lightning and you're
1543s not going to have to like stop like that
1545s you know very short half second stop to
1547s cast it it just feels much smoother and
1549s this is one that you really this build
1551s is just wants to be on the move right
1553s and that encourages
1555s that all right so let's talk about the
1557s Druid next uh so this one
1559s Druid is this season a lot of werewolf
1562s updates you know season of The Werewolf
1564s I absolutely love werewolf builds and I
1566s think they've been you know maybe a
1568s little bit behind the rest of builds
1570s over the course of of Diablo's history
1572s and so this season a lot of our updates
1573s are really focused on building uh making
1575s that build come up to par yeah like pure
1578s werewolf right not mixing it with other
1580s things yeah a lot of times you saw some
1582s like rapid shape shifting builds and
1583s those are fun those are great but uh you
1585s know pure werewolf um was really wasn't
1588s quite hitting the Mark and so that's
1589s what a lot of our focus
1591s is let's take a look at some of these
1593s updates so we've got updates to shred
1595s you know the main core skill for these
1597s werewolf builds previously the Raging
1600s shred upgrade was uh just combo attack
1602s that applied some poisoning damage so
1604s now it's going to still do that and
1606s apply a lot more poisoning damage but
1608s it's also going to cause them to take
1610s even more poisoning damage for the next
1612s 5 seconds so this is you know your your
1614s kind of finishing move on your combo or
1616s your your core combo but then it also
1619s enhances all the other poisoning damage
1621s that you've applied through something
1622s like
1625s Rayes all right we've got um updates to
1628s Boulder now this isn't uh necessarily
1629s with the the werewolf theme but still
1631s Boulder is a uh a skill that we saw a
1634s good opportunity to improve on it we had
1637s uh two upgrades on Boulder in the past
1639s uh the kind of the two choices and they
1641s were both fairly similar they both dealt
1643s with Critical Strike chance or Critical
1645s Strike damage and we thought that was an
1647s opportunity to rework one of them to to
1648s give it a different identity and uh
1651s basically the identity was poison
1652s Boulder like just a giant ball of poison
1655s what does that look like or what does
1656s that do changing the damage type always
1658s helps sort of Branch out and make it
1659s feel really different yeah yeah and we
1661s got some really sweet visuals for it too
1663s I'm not sure if we have a video on that
1665s I think we just have to rely on that in
1666s the PTR yeah yeah people people will see
1668s it on the PTR but yeah it's it's got
1670s some cool visuals associated with it
1673s yeah and so uh that one will be will be
1675s very cool definitely check that one out
1676s this one I'm very excited about because
1678s blood how as we see like has always just
1681s generated Spirit but now yeah yeah it
1684s was always a just generating some Spirit
1686s but you still do that but now it gives
1688s you even more increased damage until you
1690s shape shift out of werewolf form so
1692s going back to what Colin mentioned about
1694s really focusing in on pure werewolf that
1696s was an area uh that we we felt hey we
1699s want to really reward you for staying in
1701s the werewolf form and really committing
1703s to that identity and and just making
1705s sure that felt like an appropriate
1706s payoff and this is one of the areas that
1708s we're doing that
1711s in all right so let's talk a little bit
1713s about uh one of the the updated uh
1716s legendaries so the uh aspect of the
1719s Blurred Beast so this previously was was
1722s a legendary that just caused your shred
1724s to do some bonus damage to poison
1725s enemies uh it was fine but it wasn't too
1728s enticing but now with the new update
1730s here you actually do still do more
1733s damage just all the time and depending
1736s on how far you're traveling for Shred
1738s you're going to do some bonus hits and
1740s it looks so cool your your werewolf is
1743s is Dashing across the screen and then
1744s just doing this like multi-hit kind of
1746s attack and so if you're really close
1748s you're just going to get maybe one
1750s additional strike but if you're at this
1751s further distance as you see in this clip
1753s you're going to get the full uh four
1755s hits so it's really about positional
1757s gameplay a bit more than it was in the
1759s past and you get very heavily rewarded
1761s for it when you do kind of execute that
1763s properly that's awesome and it's going
1765s to be really great for like movement
1766s just moving around abely across the map
1769s which I know uh movement is always a big
1771s thing that players really really want
1773s people have always been asking for so
1775s it'll be cool to see people kind of like
1776s just bouncing around as a druid uh with
1779s the aspect of the blur Beast so very
1780s cool yeah it's always great we can
1782s inject like changing how you play also
1784s right cuz you can imagine like launching
1786s into a group of enemies then picking out
1788s specific targets that you really want to
1789s launch to and that's how you optimize
1791s that build wise absolutely this is one
1795s of my favorite ones in this patch
1796s actually um big fan of of the a lot of
1798s these Druid updates aspect of Wolf's
1800s Rain so this is a combo kind of uh
1803s legendary combining the powers of
1805s hurricane and your wolf companions so
1808s when you cast hurricane your all of your
1810s wolves actually spawn a little mini
1811s hurricane of their own and these will do
1815s bonus damage for each of your active the
1816s Wolves so it really encourages these
1819s companion based builds that already have
1821s this wolf pack of you know five wolves
1823s following them around now your hurricane
1825s affects all of them and you know they
1828s get bonus damage for how many you got so
1830s you really want to be stacking up as
1831s many wolves as you can they all get
1833s hurricanes and you just get to shred
1834s through the whole screen with that super
1838s cool all right moving on to Rogue uh so
1841s this is one that uh Shadow clone has
1844s been probably the Rogue skill that I
1845s would say um it maybe wasn't quite
1849s hitting the mark compared to most other
1850s skills um and and that was for a a
1853s variety of of reasons and not to get too
1856s technical here on on the details but for
1859s a lot of the effects that you're your uh
1861s that you have with your legendaries and
1863s your passives and and those kind of
1864s things historically Shadow clone uh
1867s behaved inconsistently with those it it
1869s wouldn't necessarily pick up all of the
1871s bonuses it wouldn't trigger all of the
1873s effects and the end result was basically
1875s that your Shadow clone dealt a whole lot
1878s less damage than you did you thought hey
1880s I'm I'm hitting for you know millions
1882s and My Shadow clone sitting for like
1884s thousands right yeah and so we really
1887s looked at that comp comprehensively and
1889s thought okay we need to to kind of
1891s rethink how Shadow clone Works across
1893s the board to really bring it up to par
1895s to make it uh behave the way you expect
1899s and then also extend that to a lot of
1901s the other summons in the game the
1904s summons like your your Necromancer um
1906s skeletons your Druid Companions and so
1908s on so we did basically a rework of that
1911s entire
1912s system and uh the long and short of it
1914s is that they should just work a whole
1916s lot better going forward in this season
1919s where they're going to trigger all of
1921s your lucky hit effects they're going to
1923s interact with all of your damage
1925s modifiers and multipliers that they
1927s previously were were inconsistently
1929s working with so just one example here a
1931s very simple example you got wind Striker
1933s aspect this is a very simple legendary
1935s that just says hey when you critically
1936s strike gain some movement speed now in
1939s the past that was only when you your
1941s player character critically stri with
1944s one of your skills and it would not
1946s happen whenever one of your druid compan
1948s or your Shadow clone critically strikes
1951s but now all of that will work so your
1954s companions or your summons or your
1955s Shadow clone critically strikes and you
1957s have win Strikers now your character
1959s gets that bonus it's huge yeah it's I I
1962s really can't um you know overstay this
1964s like how how many new interactions and
1966s synergies this unlocks with not just
1968s Shadow clone but all of the summons in
1970s general across the
1972s game um but with Shadow clone in
1974s particular we've got a new unique item
1978s and and this one is Assassin's stride
1980s and the effect here works with Mobility
1983s skills and your Shadow imbuement once
1986s again kind of playing up that combo
1988s aspect so all of your Mobility skills
1990s are going to always be Shadow imbued
1993s with some bonus potency so they're going
1994s to do some more damage and whenever you
1997s damage an elite or boss with a Mobility
2000s skill there's a chance to trigger an
2002s instant free Shadow andumin explosion so
2005s those of you who like playing Shadow
2006s step builds uh one of my fav ones with
2009s um with Rogue you know just like Adam
2011s had said before about jumping around the
2012s screen with werewolves you can do that
2013s with Shadow step now too and you're just
2015s going to be getting a lot of those um
2017s those resets and and kills much quicker
2020s as you leap Out of the Shadows trigger a
2021s shadow andb explosion and then move on
2024s to the next pack of enemies really cool
2027s uh unique for that kind of
2029s build um additionally cow trops uh maybe
2033s the the skill that was the most kind of
2035s clunky on control wise to use God
2038s seriously if you if you've ever tried to
2040s use cal trops um it it can be a struggle
2043s sometimes where where your character
2044s would leap backwards and and you
2045s wouldn't go in the right direction
2047s wouldn't hit the enemies uh We've
2049s updated the animation here to just
2051s basically be a lot very similar to to
2053s the smoke grenade skill where you just
2055s pick a point on the screen your
2056s character throws it and it just goes
2058s where you you point it I I am the king
2061s of like cropping one minion out of like
2063s 100 and then also falling like jumping
2065s back into like a giant mob and going
2067s like well I didn't didn't calculate that
2068s correctly so this that update I've we
2071s were we were talking about this
2072s beforehand like before we even went live
2074s and I was like thank thank God I was
2076s like oh my God please so yeah it's I'm
2079s excited for that Cal trop should be so
2081s much more usable now and we think that
2083s this is a really good change going
2084s forward yeah all right on to the
2087s Necromancer so Necromancer we've done
2089s some um improved itemization and updates
2092s to the overpower synergies specifically
2094s the rathma Vigor key passive so
2096s previously it would just uh give you
2099s some uh an overpower once every uh 12
2102s seconds and uh or when you overhealed
2105s for some bonus life and now we're just
2106s tacking on a big chunk of overpower
2108s damage to it uh we definitely felt like
2110s these these pure blood-based um
2113s overpower builds were just not quite
2114s hitting that Mark and you know just
2118s pumping the power into these pure builds
2120s through the RMA Vigor key passive we
2122s think is going to be very helpful to
2123s make these builds really
2126s Shine On to the next um we've got uh the
2131s one of the new uniques so similar to
2133s what we did with the sorcerer where we
2136s had kind of these paired uniques that we
2138s we're going to have two uniques in the
2139s same slot for Necromancer as well this
2141s time in the in the pants slot and
2144s they're both going to be uh working with
2145s blood wave so this one uh cmi's Legacy
2149s will cause instead of shooting one blood
2152s wave out forward you're going to get two
2154s that kind of converge on you and this
2156s definitely changes up the the targeting
2158s of it the positioning requirements and
2160s really the use case because it's pulling
2161s towards you instead of pushing away so
2164s instead of being a defensive skill it's
2165s much more about the damage and pulling
2167s them together and then when they hit
2169s they do a big chunk of damage as well so
2171s definitely turns blood wave into a much
2173s more damage Focus skill and a little bit
2174s less on uh the the CC or the knockback
2177s crowd control of it yeah and it play
2179s Super well that key passive absolutely
2182s absolutely especially if you want to be
2183s using this for for that big damage
2186s moment now the alternative is um inria's
2189s memory where it uh it still shoots the
2193s the blood wave forward and then at the
2196s end of its path it will trap The Targets
2198s in a bone prison so this is a a unique
2201s that is very much about combining Blood
2204s and Bone so a little bit less of the
2206s pure blood and much more about combining
2208s the two now Additionally you see we're
2211s using some bone Spears here uh or should
2213s I say blood Spears because that is what
2216s they now become blood Spears and um
2220s instead of costing a bunch of essence
2221s they're going to cost um or sorry they
2224s they drain maximum life still cost
2226s Essence there um but they drain maximum
2228s life uh to cast additionally from a
2231s nearby
2232s corpse uh to fire an extra bone uh bone
2235s spere blood spere uh so there there's a
2238s lot going on with this one but I think
2240s it's it really comes together to be a
2242s very uh strong build when you're using
2244s the bone spear and the blood wave and
2246s then casting bone spear reduces blood
2248s waves cool down that's the inherent aex
2250s on these legs uh really makes a really
2252s cool build that uh that I think
2254s synergizes very nicely yeah it's
2256s awesome all right and so on to the
2258s spirit born so we we kind of uh you know
2261s warned at the start you know Spirit born
2263s we recognize has been one or or multiple
2266s steps above most other classes um and
2269s and players have fun people love playing
2271s the spear boorn very powerful and we
2273s really like that but we do have to
2274s recognize you know for the long-term
2276s health of the game it's important that
2277s we have a bit better class parody across
2279s the board so you don't feel like you're
2281s doing it wrong if you're not playing a
2283s spirit born yeah and we have like a lot
2285s of the classes outside of the spirit
2287s born are actually in a really good spot
2288s they're pushing pit tier 100 plus which
2291s is great and again we're not looking to
2293s really buff every class up to clearing
2296s pit 150 easily right we don't want to
2297s create that arms race where we just have
2299s to continuously sort of ask you the
2301s player to chew through you know 20
2303s different tourment TI CU we're just arms
2304s racing that power so much yeah we do
2307s think that kind of our Target there is
2310s closer to where the other five classes
2311s are and spirit borne was just you know
2313s too high up uh and it's rather than than
2316s try to power creep the whole game we'd
2319s like to to make sure we make some small
2322s improvements everywhere else to to the
2323s underperforming builds and those ones
2325s that don't have enough love and then uh
2327s get Spirit born back down to a more
2329s healthy spot and so with that in mind uh
2331s one of the biggest offenders uh or
2333s biggest power points rather of um on on
2337s the spirit born was the rod of Capi here
2339s uh this one is the one that uh converts
2341s your core skills into basic skills and
2344s uh does it used to do uh reduced damage
2347s based on Vigor cost and admittedly the
2350s calculations there were kind of complex
2352s and so we've simplified it down a little
2354s bit where the they will just gain the
2357s bonus Critical Strike damage uh it will
2359s be substantially less previously it was
2361s uh one to 3% now it'll be down to um 0.1
2365s to 0.5 per point of vigor there we think
2368s this will bring it to a much healthier
2369s spot but still kind of retain the core
2371s fantasy and the core build implications
2374s of this item uh it just won't be pushing
2377s quite the same um trillions of damage
2379s that that we were seeing before we also
2382s fix some of the issues called out here
2383s at the at the above like viscus shield
2385s and things like that scaling in unended
2387s way unintended ways that were just way
2389s outside of our expectations yeah
2391s definitely some some unintended kind of
2393s bugged interactions that were maybe
2395s double dipping or scaling too high um we
2397s we a pass to to make those uh more in
2400s line with our
2403s expectations all right um additionally
2406s we've got uh you know new aspects of
2408s course uh being a class in Diablo 4
2410s you're going to be getting new content
2411s every season so we've got uh new
2413s legendary aspect here the aspect of
2415s endless talents that causes you a razor
2417s ring wings uh to increase your all of
2419s your Eagle skill damage and razor Wing
2422s critical strikes will uh Grant even more
2424s Stacks so you can really stack that up
2425s you know it Stacks up to uh 50% that's a
2427s whole whole lot so you really want to be
2428s spamming out these razor wings and
2430s getting those crits to stack this up uh
2433s to as fast as possible yeah and this
2434s goes back to like just the prior slide
2436s where we talked about how razor wings
2438s and ctip builds are are getting some
2440s extra love in this specific season which
2442s were more so underutilized in in uh uh
2445s season six so uh with season 7 players
2448s we'll be able to see these new legendary
2450s aspects of course and then uh and how
2452s they actually tie back in with some of
2453s the changes that we're doing for those
2455s builds absolutely
2457s all right and we've got some updates to
2460s um some of the underused uniques as well
2463s uh ring of Rising Moon here uh this one
2466s would trigger pestilence swarm every 10
2467s seconds we felt like that was a little
2469s too long given the pace of combat in our
2470s game uh and especially compared to some
2473s of the other options at at the unique
2475s slot uh ring slot so we've reduced that
2477s down to every 4 seconds you'll spawn a
2479s pestilence swarm and the Vigor generated
2481s goes up from one up to three so a lot
2484s more um resource generation because your
2486s rings are often resource gener one so we
2488s want to make sure this is a compelling
2489s option compared to your other uh choices
2491s at the ring
2494s slot all right so let's talk a little
2496s bit about uh some of the broader updates
2498s that affects all classes so the one I'm
2501s excited about here is the ultimate
2502s updates so uh in the previous season we
2506s introduced skill ranks on ultimates
2508s right so you could now rank up your
2509s ultimate up to rank five and that was
2511s that was good gave you some cool down
2512s reduction some damage but now when you
2515s actually fully invest in it up to that
2516s rank five every Ultimate in the game is
2519s going to get a new rank five bonus so
2522s for example here on last rate we've got
2524s at rank five last rates damage is going
2526s to be increased by 40% of your Critical
2528s Strike damage bonus gives it this
2530s scaling Factor so you can see on the
2532s left last rate at rank one is doing
2534s about 38,000 damage but you rank it up
2537s to five and it goes crazy high up to uh
2540s 19,000 damage because it's now getting
2542s that Critical Strike damage
2544s scaler and so if you really want to
2546s build a dedicated last rate build as
2548s kind of your your core damaging effect
2551s this is going to be a great way to build
2552s around it and a good reward for
2554s investing all those extra skill points
2555s into it definitely I love to see us add
2557s more things that incentivize you to
2559s actually put some points into skills
2561s yeah yes so often you know sometimes
2564s you'd see um if you just wanted the
2566s access to the utility of the ultimate
2568s hey it's fine to put in one point right
2570s you get one point you get the utility
2571s maybe you get some some buff from it but
2574s if you really wanted to invest in it we
2576s want to make sure that that investment
2577s those skill ranks feels meaningful and
2579s we think these rank five bonuses on
2581s ultimates in particular is going to be a
2582s really good way to to pay off those
2584s ultimate builds
2587s definitely all right uh We've also got
2589s some new uh generic legendary aspects to
2592s really support this style uh they that
2593s talk directly to Ultimate skills so
2596s we've got the vehement Brawlers aspect
2597s that causes uh casting an ultimate skill
2600s increases all of your damage output by
2601s 10 to 30% for 8 seconds and you also
2604s gain additional skill ranks in your
2606s ultimate so hey we just talked about
2608s skill rank bonuses now we've got um you
2612s know a legendary that will give you some
2613s bonus skill ranks nice we've also got
2616s the uh ring of apic fervor which uh says
2619s casting your ultimate skill will
2620s increase your damage by 8 to 18% so a
2623s little bit less than the V Brawlers but
2625s it Stacks up to 10 times so you can get
2628s way more if you can cast your ultimate
2631s fast enough and kind of chain it
2633s together so this will be really good for
2635s like Rogue that use uh Rogues that use
2637s preparation uh to really get that
2639s ultimate cool down reduction and or any
2642s build that really wants to focus around
2643s casting your alt many times in a row um
2646s this one is going to be a great
2648s legendary for that those style of
2651s builds all right we've also done some
2654s updates to the Rune words and so Rune
2656s wordss uh vessel of hatred um feature uh
2659s the you has been really well received we
2661s think that they've really uh you know
2663s spiced up some some build variety and uh
2665s we're going to add some new runes here
2668s and update some of the old
2669s ones um so all of the invocation runes
2672s uh have overflow so the cost of many of
2676s them have also been uh adjusted to allow
2678s you to proc this overflow effect when
2680s you generate more offering than needed
2682s uh much more
2684s often uh and then also the the ritual
2687s runes uh the ones that you know generate
2689s the offering um some of them have been
2692s redesigned to have uh some uh larger
2695s potential moments of this overflow so an
2697s example here on the The Seer Rune uh
2700s this generates a ton of offering 300
2701s offering at once uh and you get that by
2704s casting five skills but then instead of
2707s just casting five skills and then
2709s generating all of it and then casting
2710s five again instantly um we we've added
2713s in this this exhausted period for 3
2716s seconds so you can you can get that uh
2719s $300 offera once but then you got to
2721s wait 3 seconds before you start building
2723s up those Stacks again it's like getting
2725s like large buckets every every a couple
2727s seconds in stuff of offering now with
2729s these yeah this is a good tuning knob to
2732s to kind of make sure that hey we can
2733s give you this strong moment of power but
2735s then it it is followed by by a little
2737s bit of a weaker moment where you can't
2738s generate that rather than every Rune
2741s always just being a steady amount would
2743s like to have those Peaks and valleys it
2745s really think that leads to more
2747s interesting moments of gameplay yeah
2749s it's about potency versus frequency so
2751s you get really strong effects but you
2753s can't do it as often right and that'll
2755s play right into the the updates with a
2757s lot of the Overflow to make sure that
2759s when you do overflow it feels really
2761s good and feels really rewarding to get
2763s that so let's talk about some of the
2766s other runes we've got some new runes to
2768s show off yeah so we've got uh three new
2771s Rune words here the nagu Rune a
2773s legendary Rune that will uh gain 100
2775s offering uh as long as you're
2778s maintaining a summon and so as I kind of
2780s alluded to earlier with the the shadow
2782s clone section summon is our new catch
2785s all term for any thing that you summon
2788s you know it's pretty self-explanatory
2790s but that includes things like
2791s Necromancer minions Druid companions
2793s sorcerer conjurations um Rogue Shadow
2797s clones and even Barbarian ancients from
2799s some of yours call of the Ancients and
2801s some of the legendaries that SPM those
2802s those are all
2804s summons uh igny Rune will generate 25
2808s offering um but it stores up offering
2812s every uh. 3 seconds so so you're
2814s actually doing about 75 offering per
2816s second rough
2818s and by you actually Cash It In by
2821s casting a non-basic skill to get that
2823s offering so as long as you're out there
2824s kind of spamming your basic skill you're
2826s going to be kind of banking up this
2828s offering and then when you cast the non
2830s Basic you cash all in you probably
2831s trigger the Rune it's connected to you
2833s get a big overflow you get a big moment
2835s of power
2836s there and finally we've got the chalk
2838s Rune that generates or requires 20
2841s offering rather and this will invoke
2842s druid's lightning bolt that's one of
2844s those um those uh it's not the the core
2847s skill but lightning bolt is is kind of
2849s that uh other power in The Druids kit uh
2852s similar to like earthquake or or yeah
2856s yeah um so and enable those kind of
2859s builds to to Really tap into that
2861s effect awesome lots of runes lots of
2865s runes lots of changes coming to classes
2867s you know there's more changes in the
2869s notes that we'll have um that will be
2871s hitting next week uh so players can look
2873s into those these are just a few examples
2874s that we have for PTR um and of of course
2878s really need feedback on a lot of these
2879s changes I know there's some people going
2881s in chat going like hey I'm noticing like
2884s you know maybe you're giving a lot of
2885s offering and then there's a little bit
2887s of a cool down period or something like
2889s that let us know like we want people to
2890s try those out like test it out so that
2893s we have the feedback so that before we
2894s go live with with patch 2 one uh we can
2897s end up uh making any feedback changes
2900s based off of community feedback so lots
2902s of cool stuff thank you so much for

2918s and I was like was uh but we uh Dan is
2922s actually going to be talking about all
2923s the new content that's coming in patch
2925s 21 uh with season 7 so Dan do you want
2928s to take it away and talk to us a little
2930s bit about it absolutely uh couple of
2932s technical difficulties uh could not keep
2934s me from uh sharing this with everybody
2936s so
2939s um this PTR uh for patch 21 is a PTR of
2944s a couple firsts at this point um this is
2947s going to be the first time that we're
2948s bringing the seasonal realm uh to a PTR
2951s so what does this mean we've got uh a
2953s lot of seasonal content coming up in
2954s season 7 and we want to be able
2957s to get all of your feedback on this
2960s content it's pretty important for us to
2962s you know like uh Adam was saying really
2965s have those iteration Cycles where yall
2967s are able to test and you know show
2969s what's working and what is it um this is
2972s also going to be the first time since
2975s season two that we bringing back
2977s seasonal character Powers uh so if you
2980s remember in Season Two Season of blood
2983s uh they were vampire powers and you
2985s slotted them into your sanguin circle
2987s and so uh for season 7 could be a little
2991s bit different not vampires this time
2993s this time it's going to be
2995s Witchcraft and so I'm excited to really
2998s dig into that right now and tease out
3001s what what y'all can uh play in a couple
3003s weeks so
3005s witchcraft is enables you as a
3008s practitioner to uh call upon the power
3011s of the swamp to do your bidding and so
3014s you've met some witches before in the in
3016s the game and you're going to meet some
3018s more in the the coming season but before
3021s I really dive into witchcraft uh we got
3023s to talk about your enemies now your
3026s enemies of this season are going to be
3027s called the head rotten now the head
3029s rotten are Abominations that Spawn from
3032s the Tree of Whispers and you're going to
3035s slay them and collect what we call
3037s Restless rot and this is going to be our
3039s currency for the
3042s season now uh like I said you know the
3045s season is about witchcraft uh so they're
3047s going to be some witches and those
3049s witches are going to be residing around
3051s the tree of Whispers And they're going
3053s to have some altars and these altars are
3056s pretty important to you learning your
3058s witchcraft and so you're going to travel
3060s to an altar you're going to make an
3063s offering of restless rot and that's
3065s going to enable you to to learn the
3069s Witchcraft now equipping witchcraft is
3072s going to be pretty simple you know we
3074s wanted to uh take what was best from a
3077s lot of these styles of menus that we've
3080s done in the past and distill it into
3082s something that's very convenient and
3084s easy to use and the result is this
3087s witchcraft menu that you can see in
3088s front of you and so equipping is going
3091s to be super simple you've got an
3092s inventory on the bottom and then you're
3094s going to drag or otherwise move that
3096s power to one of the slots up top and
3099s you're going to have five normal slots
3101s five normal Powers you can equip at any
3103s point and one unique power for you know
3105s really special uh witchcraft that you
3108s can find um the other thing is that you
3111s can upgrade your witchcraft directly in
3114s that inventory using Restless rot uh so
3117s again we're streamlining the process to
3120s you know make it easy for players to
3122s equip and upgrade their
3125s witchcraft now uh obviously it wouldn't
3129s be a season without some rewards and so
3132s let's talk about those a little
3134s bit uh this season we're going to have
3136s another reputation style gameplay in the
3139s form of coven's
3141s favor now killing head rotten will get
3143s you headless rot or killing head rotten
3145s will get you Restless rot
3147s uh but in order to advance the the
3149s coven's favor you actually need to
3151s complete Whispers And completing those
3154s Whispers will increase your rank and
3156s allow you to unlock rewards including
3158s items and materials and things like that
3161s in addition new to this season you're
3163s going to also unlock at certain ranks
3166s new Witchcraft and then you will have
3168s new things you can learn from those
3170s altars and then because everyone loves
3173s it uh we're bringing back uh the
3175s resplendant spark as well so that's
3177s going to be at the end of your um uh
3181s coven's favor Rank and of course the
3183s real splendent spark nowadays can be
3186s used from crafting you know uh a random
3190s Mythic unique to actually targeting
3191s uniques using a lot of those uh runes
3194s that you can earn in the
3196s game all right one last little thing
3199s with respect to Witchcraft so we wanted
3201s to try out something a little bit
3202s different and so we've also created
3205s several powers that are lost to these
3208s witches the coven of the swamp and so
3211s those you can only find by traveling out
3213s in the world and discovering forgotten
3216s altars and these forgotten altars will
3218s allow you to learn these lost powers and
3221s um yeah we just thought we try something
3224s a little bit different here and uh yeah
3226s let us know what you think about it now
3229s uh let's talk about some of the
3231s Witchcraft itself you know we've talked
3233s it up a bit um we're going to release
3237s it's over 20 Powers uh for the season
3240s and we're going to show you four of
3241s those right now so let's talk about the
3244s first one this one's really popular this
3246s is the poison
3247s frog so the poison frog as you imagine
3250s is a servant that you can summon that
3252s fights alongside you uh as its name
3255s implies it will poison your enemies and
3259s you know if it runs out of Health it's
3261s going to explode viciously uh with a lot
3264s of poison damage folks are having a lot
3266s of fun with this one
3268s uh next up next up is Doom orb so Doom
3271s orb is a pure orb of eldrich energy that
3275s circles around you and damages any enemy
3278s it touches and it can also launch itself
3281s at distant enemies before returning also
3284s another favorite at this point vengeful
3287s servant so vengeful servant as the name
3290s implies as another servant like the Frog
3292s and this one will absorb damage and then
3295s Rush enemies
3297s and then last but not least we've got
3300s one of those lost witchcraft Powers I
3302s was telling you about and this is
3304s Pano so this one procs when you cast
3309s other powers and so if you cast a hex
3312s and an aura at the same time and inflict
3315s it upon uh uh an enemy there's a chance
3319s that you will then proc the Pano and the
3322s pan as you can see sucks everything into
3325s it in a swirling dervish of fish and
3330s destruction so um yeah that's a Peak at
3333s some of the Witchcraft Powers you're
3335s going to be able to play with
3336s soon but what good are powers if we
3340s aren't offering you some new activities
3342s within the season to participate in and
3345s so these come in the form of head hunts
3348s now head hunts are
3351s um a whisper driven activity and so the
3355s tree is searching for these head rotten
3359s the tree wants you to eliminate these
3360s head rotten and so it's going to help
3363s you by highlighting areas within the
3364s world where it thinks there's a lot of
3366s head rotten for you to kill so you're
3368s going to follow the whispers in order to
3371s you know find the head hunts and kill
3373s the head rotten now uh these are subzone
3376s takeovers uh similar to hell
3378s tiddes um they're going to feature a
3382s number of all new Whispers mixed in with
3384s some existing ones uh this was an
3386s opportunity for our team to try out some
3389s new Whispers and really kind of tell a
3391s little bit of a story each time you're
3392s going out on a head hunt uh because
3395s Whispers offer us that
3397s opportunity now completing Whispers has
3399s a chance of spawning a head- rotten boss
3402s and the head rotten bosses are the
3403s things you're really going to be looking
3404s out for because those are going to give
3405s you some additional rewards I'm going to
3407s tell you about delivering a head rotten
3410s boss's head to the tree of Whispers
3413s enables you to earn occult gems
3417s let's talk about ult gems now we're
3419s pretty excited about these ult gems are
3422s special socket tables that have unique
3424s effects that help you fine-tune your
3426s build so they can only be slotted in the
3430s jewelry slot and so this is a way of
3434s basically having them coexist with
3436s runes and um they only last for the
3441s season so when your items transfer to
3443s the Eternal realm at the end of the
3445s season these are going to disappear
3447s but in the meantime I think you're going
3449s to have a lot of fun with them let's
3451s dive into them a little
3452s bit so each a cold gem has built-in
3456s defense we don't want you to have to
3458s make a choice between you know uh a
3461s royal diamond or a oyal skull and an
3463s occult gem so all of these occultt gems
3467s have defense built into them so that you
3469s know uh really you're getting a bonus
3472s above and beyond you know those uh gems
3475s that I just described and so here are
3477s some examples of them first up we've got
3479s the Elder sigil this is going to boost
3482s your damage whenever you hex enemies so
3484s if you're leaning into certain types of
3486s hexes you like using Elder sigil may be
3489s a good fit for you killing wind this is
3492s going to boost your crit and move for
3496s folks who really dig uh you know uh
3500s specking out with eldrich powers so if
3502s you equip three or more eldrich Powers
3505s then slotting a killing wind and to say
3507s one of your rings might benefit you
3509s quite a bit and then finally we've got
3512s dust Stone this is a legendary one so
3514s it's going to be even more powerful than
3515s the other two I talked about this is
3518s going to boost when you use hex and Aura
3523s and afflict other enemies with those so
3525s each time you do that not only do you
3528s have a chance to proc that pirano I
3530s talked about before but you're going to
3532s increase the damage that you output per
3534s Affliction so you can kind of get a
3536s sense
3537s that the ult gyms are providing you even
3540s more incentives for you know uh creating
3544s a certain type of build and you know we
3547s are just really excited to see what kind
3549s of combinations y'all come up with uh I
3551s think uh yeah it's going to be pretty
3554s exciting so final thing is you know we
3559s were doing a lot with the trio Whispers
3561s we've got the witches around them you
3563s know uh so we thought well we should you
3566s know take some of the quality of life
3568s feedback we've heard from players and
3570s try and address it so the first thing
3572s we've done is we've updated the town
3575s around the tree of Whispers uh we added
3577s some more services to it because we
3579s expect you to be returning to it a lot
3581s more this season and uh we've changed
3585s the layout a little bit to make it a
3586s little more convenient to navigate and
3589s move the Waypoint so that it's just
3590s quicker to get to the tree of Whispers
3592s to turn in things but sometimes you know
3595s you're in the middle of a head hunt we
3597s found and you're getting a lot of grim
3600s favor but you don't want to leave you
3602s want to try and go fight the boss that
3604s you just summoned right so we've also
3607s implemented what we call the Raven of
3608s the tree and the Raven of the tree
3610s appears at every head hunt Zone and that
3613s allows you to turn in your Grim favor on
3615s the spot so that you don't have to go
3617s back to the tree town now you're not
3619s going to have access to all those other
3620s services so you know you hit your
3622s inventory limit you'll probably want to
3624s go back to town but in the moment
3626s when you're in a flow you can go to the
3628s Raven of the tree get your cash and then
3630s keep fighting and then finally we felt
3634s like we wanted to expand the rewards a
3636s little bit more for the Tre of Whispers
3638s so we've added ancestral caches it's a
3640s pretty low probability of getting one
3642s but they're there and these guarantee
3644s you uh getting an ancestral item from a
3646s cache so obviously you see this pop up
3649s uh I have a feeling you're probably
3650s going to select it so uh yeah I think
3654s that's all I have to uh talk about out
3657s for the uh upcoming PTR so I'll kick it
3660s back over to you Adam awesome thank you
3662s so much Dan talking about a ton of new
3665s stuff coming for uh patch 2.1 PTR and of
3668s course season 7 uh I'm super excited for
3671s all the tree whisper updates I know a
3673s lot of people in chat are especially
3674s with the Raven not having to go back to
3676s the tree Whispers every single time
3678s being able to turn in Grim favors right
3679s there through the Raven on top of that
3681s also just the rework of the zone so
3683s everything's a little bit closer you not
3685s have to walk all the way across to walk
3686s all the way back to the Waypoint or to
3688s get to the vendors and everything so
3689s there's a lot of big changes with that
3691s um and please do choose the
3695s ancestral why would you not yeah and I
3698s think it's important to remember we
3699s added the ability to favorite way points
3702s part of season six or of the last uh
3704s patch that we did so it's super helpful
3706s with that witch Town yeah most
3708s definitely and of course I you know
3710s we've we people have been seeing some of
3712s the the new uh witchcraft powers and and
3715s noticing some familiarities of like H
3718s Diablo lore and I will say we we'll be
3720s talking more about the story of season 7
3723s as we get closer to launch so uh players
3725s can hear more about kind of like the the
3727s origins of all like what we've been kind
3729s of talking about here with this story
3731s with Diablo I so thank you again Dan for

3735s that's coming with season 7 and of
3737s course uh last but not least we do want
3738s to talk about some big quality of life
3740s changes one really really big one that
3743s we're really excited to talk about and
3744s Mr Colin fer will talk and walk us
3746s through everything yeah thanks Adam so
3749s um most of these are sort of systemic
3751s updates so I I'll talk through them
3753s Paragon migration is more just a
3756s reminder on how the new Paragon system
3757s works um all of the Paragon experience
3761s that you've earned in a season is
3762s actually at the end of season 6 going to
3765s be added to your Eternal realm Paragon
3767s so what that means is uh you know if
3769s you're Paragon level 230 on a season all
3772s of that 230 worth of experience is going
3774s to get added to your Eternal which
3776s probably is going to level up your
3777s Eternal Paragon and I mentioned this
3779s because we added the really cool soul
3782s soul Soul Stone I kept calling it The
3784s Vessel of hatred Crystal but it's a soul
3787s Stone um that really cool Soul Stone
3789s that you get at Paragon level 300 you
3791s can actually earn that on Eternal so if
3793s you're not willing to sort of put in
3794s hundreds of hours to get that in a
3795s season you can work your way there on
3797s the Eternal realm as you sort of cash in
3799s these Seasons so we think that's going
3800s to feel pretty good it's going to be
3801s really nice is you're like playing
3802s through multiple seasonal characters and
3804s then eventually you'll end up just
3805s getting enough P to actually earn those
3807s rewards at level 300 Paragon so that's
3809s actually it's not like I have to have it
3812s in this season or something like that
3814s you know you probably end up getting in
3815s in a couple Seasons if you play pretty
3817s uh pretty extensively and you level up
3818s your Paragon yeah definitely um the
3821s second one here is now we are
3824s essentially tying the unique power so if
3826s you think about like the fists of Fate
3827s that random damage rule from one to 200
3831s um that's going to be tied the floor is
3833s going to be tied to the amount of
3834s Greater axes that are on that items if
3836s you have one greater AIX the floor is
3838s going to go up a little bit from the the
3840s 1% um when you get four greater aices
3842s it's going to go up quite a bit it's not
3844s exactly perfect because we wanted to
3846s maintain the sort of specialness of a
3848s 4ga with a perfect unique rule um we've
3850s seen some of those on on Reddit and I
3852s think it's always uh such a cool moment
3854s to to sort of see those drop but it's
3856s going to be a substantial increase to
3858s the power of the floor so it's it's
3859s going to be um nearly impossible to get
3861s a 4ga with a really crappy uh unique
3864s power roll yeah it's always great great
3866s getting a 4ga and then like 1% yeah yeah
3870s that always just feels bad you never
3872s want to be comparing like oh I got a 4ga
3874s well my one ga1 is maybe better because
3876s it has a better unique role that wasn't
3878s a moment we felt was really enticing so
3880s we wanted to make sure that the more G
3882s you get just the better the item is uh
3885s comprehensively just better yeah
3887s absolutely so that should help quite a
3888s bit um and then uh I'm going to talk
3891s about one thing previously on that which
3893s is um ancestral legendaries they are now
3897s going to when an ancestral item drops
3899s it's going to drop the top end of the
3900s legendary aspect role so if you think in
3903s season six we added five more ranks to
3905s compensate ancestral being added uh rank
3908s 21 is usually where they end up Landing
3910s now ancestral items when they drop
3911s they're going to be at the top end of
3913s that so you should always be pretty
3914s excited when an ancestral drops cuz it's
3916s always the best uh sort of top end ranks
3918s of that Legendary Power that could drop
3921s we we saw lots of conspiracy theories on
3923s Reddit of people going like hey I I
3925s think like uh my codex of power is not
3928s getting up updated correctly or
3930s something like that and we totally
3931s understand like there was a lot of
3932s confusion behind it we admit that on our
3934s end and uh this just makes it easier and
3936s better for players and being able to
3938s grab it it's not calling behind the
3940s scenes on a computer like it was
3942s actually was he was literally just like
3944s making sure you got the lowest aspect
3946s roles or anything like that but
3949s harder so uh that that most definitely
3952s will address a lot of the confusion
3954s there as well as just make it better for
3956s players overall yeah definitely and then
3959s the second Point here is we've uh pretty
3960s substantially increased the ancestral
3962s drop rate across the the board um
3964s they're not going to be raining from the
3965s sky but it's definitely incre a pretty
3967s substantial increase that uh we think
3969s it's just going to level up all the
3970s different activities in the game and
3971s that should just feel a lot better uh we
3973s don't want to go too far where they're
3975s no longer special but we thought that we
3977s were a little bit uh a little bit too
3978s conservative on our first swing and this
3980s will affect all torment tiers right not
3982s just tier torment four yep exactly so
3984s all torment tiers are to get this
3986s increase
3987s great and then the next
3990s one uh so we saw that gems were dropping
3993s a little too frequently uh constantly
3996s getting stuck on the ground and players
3997s were capped on them so we are doing a
3998s pass to reduce them overall but to
4001s compensate we're actually adding a snc
4003s for them so you're going to be able to
4004s take gem fragments and craft uh random
4006s legendary amulets and random legendary
4008s Rings those all obviously have a chance
4010s to be ancestral once you get into the
4012s torments so it's a really nice way for
4014s us to sort of uh make sure that you're
4016s never hitting a point where you just
4018s have so many gem fragments they're
4019s they're worthless right awesome
4021s yeah um and then the next one I think is
4023s going to be uh I'm I'm super excited
4026s about and that's class Quest updates um
4029s they're going to work similar to alars
4031s of Lilith right do you have more details
4033s on that yeah so uh class Quest so most
4036s classes or every class has this um you
4038s know special mechanic so like uh on
4040s Sorceress you've got your enchantment
4041s slots and in the past when you hit Level
4044s 15 you'd get a quest where you had to to
4046s go and and help out a mage to find a
4048s lost home um so for players who have
4051s already completed that you are going to
4053s uh if you you do need to log into that
4055s character first uh to kind of unlock it
4057s across your account but once you've done
4059s that any subsequent sorceress that you
4061s make once you hit Level 15 you're going
4063s to immediately unlock that first
4065s enchantment slot and then once you hit
4066s Level 30 you'll unlock the second one
4069s now for every class the exact level is
4071s going to be different it depends on when
4072s that would normally unlock but you won't
4074s have to go through the whole quest line
4076s do so but for those of you who really
4077s enjoyed doing those quests there will be
4079s a pretty juicy reward if you do choose
4081s to do it but you're going to get that
4082s mechanic right off the bat that's
4084s awesome and you could still just log
4086s into your seasonal character and do it
4087s to unlock the class mechanic not we
4089s don't require you to log into your
4090s Eternal character right to get
4093s those cool so I think that's going to be
4095s awesome I always like check the time
4097s like oh I'm level 40 I should probably
4099s go to my class Quest I have definitely
4101s forgotten to unlock my Golem on my
4103s necromancers for a little longer than
4105s than I would like to admit well uh
4107s production spoiled it our as they raise
4111s their hands up in the air but the next
4112s update is obviously a big one uh which
4115s is finally we don't have to say this is
4117s in development still because Armory is
4120s coming with uh season 7 patch 2.1 um so
4124s Colin want to go through it all
4125s absolutely yeah this one was a really
4127s Niche request we had to dive super deep
4129s into the forum so that one guy who asked
4131s for this this is for you um I'm just
4133s kidding this has been a super hot
4135s requested feature we're excited to bring
4137s it to everybody so um everybody's going
4140s to get this update Armory is going to
4141s allow you to save builds it's going to
4143s save all your equipment all of your
4145s skills all of your Paragon all your
4147s Paragon glyphs can even name it um and
4150s what this really allows you to do is be
4151s a lot more flexible in the end game
4153s right so if you're really liking your
4155s Fireball build but you got this really
4156s sweet uh ball lightning unique uh now
4159s it's really easy to just save off that
4161s fireball build if you ever want to come
4162s back to it um and you can start building
4164s out that ball lightning um build so
4166s we're really excited about this we're
4167s not going to charge you for respecing or
4169s anything like that so you save it it's
4171s yours um it's even come with some cool
4174s quality of life things where uh we
4176s actually Mark all of the equipment
4177s that's actually part of an Armory slot
4179s um and that's really important to know
4181s because we're just saving the equipment
4183s right so you'll want to know if you're
4184s going to modify this item that it would
4186s affect any of the loadouts that are
4187s currently using this item yeah if you if
4189s you take a legendary and say change the
4191s imprinted aspect on it you know it it's
4193s still part of that build so it might not
4194s be the right one so you do probably want
4197s to get you know multiple sets of gear if
4198s you want to be building this up but it's
4199s so much easier to swap between them so
4201s much easier to explore all the the new
4203s build possibilities that that we
4204s introduce every season with the new
4206s items and and updates absolutely and
4208s it's in all the main towns it's even in
4210s the training rooms which is very nice um
4213s and it's important to note that we will
4214s swap it from anywhere so if the
4216s equipment is in your stash or if it's in
4218s your inventory you don't have to worry
4219s about it we'll just swap it out for you
4221s yeah it'll just all it's automatically
4224s does it which is really nice
4226s it makes it as easy as possible for
4228s players to be able to really utilize the
4230s future which I think is great cool so
4232s yeah we're super excited um we're really
4234s leaning into the flexibility that's why
4236s we've just removed a lot of the the cost
4238s to to switch around and we think this
4240s should open up you know if you're
4241s playing a druid you don't have to go
4242s make another Druid or go through 300
4244s clicks to change out your Paragon so
4246s yeah and I think one thing I I do want
4248s to notice because this will be in PTR we
4250s really need people to actually test it
4251s there a brand new feature there's a lot
4253s of complexities behind it obviously it's
4254s pulling things from your St pulling
4256s things from other inventories Etc so
4258s want to make sure that uh players
4260s actually do get an opportunity to
4262s actually test it during PTR give us
4264s feedback it's something that we're going
4265s to continuously iterate one thing I do
4267s want to call out is in PTR it won't have
4269s controller support it will have
4270s controller support when we do launch it
4272s with uh patch 2.1 the the final patch
4275s itself but for the PTR it won't actually
4278s be uh there won't be controller support
4279s on it so I just want to caveat that now
4282s for players that are actually going to
4283s that do play on controller to to note
4285s that it won't be there for that
4286s specifically so um tons of changes
4290s coming for for season 7 obviously all
4293s the class changes the ultimate changes
4294s that that uh Charles talked about uh the
4297s balance and and and items are related to
4299s that new Rune words uh rework run wordss
4302s as well um we have of course all the
4304s season s stuff that Dan talked about
4306s with the Witchcraft Powers uh and of
4308s course our new gems the oult gems so we
4310s want players to actually jump in and try
4311s those out and with all the the quality
4313s of life fixes that we do have so um I
4316s know we do want to jump into Q&A before
4319s uh we we uh uh oh PTR I forgot sorry I
4324s forgot about PTR updates I can't even
4326s follow my own agenda that's like sitting
4328s here on a piece of paper Adam uh but uh
4330s we do actually do have some PTR updates
4332s really quickly that I do want to talk
4334s about because um as you guys remember uh
4337s the with 2. uh the prior uh ptrs we did
4341s character copies before or account
4343s copies from your main uh accounts things
4345s are going to be a little different for
4346s patch 2.1 this is way better for players
4349s if you guys remember back with uh even
4351s the the patch 2.0 PTR we actually did an
4355s account copy and it was like weeks and
4356s weeks in advance and people are like
4358s whoa this like my Barb from like you
4360s know it feels like yester year or
4362s something like that uh now we are giving
4364s the flexibility of players being able to
4366s account copy uh on demand essentially
4369s for PTR so with patch 2.1 PTR there will
4373s be a kind of a new button on the UI
4375s where you will be able to actually uh
4377s account copy over to your PTR account so
4380s it'll take all your characters from your
4382s your your normal account and move them
4384s over there are a few caveats we do want
4386s to mention though is that it does
4388s replace everything once you do that and
4390s you can do it multiple times so but each
4392s time you do that it does replace it all
4394s so if you do bounce between you know PTR
4397s and like the your main account on on the
4400s normal game servers uh just and let's
4402s say you get new gear you can move those
4404s things over just note it's going to wipe
4405s out everything on your ptrr when you do
4407s do that if you also utilize the let's
4410s say you don't actually utilize the uh
4412s the the account copy over and you
4414s actually use the account boosts or the
4416s the character boost that we actually
4418s have within PTR just note that if you do
4420s account copy over afterwards it will
4423s also replace those so just just be
4425s careful with that we'll we'll make sure
4427s to note that all in the blog so players
4429s are aware uh but it is just a caveat
4431s that we do want to mention for players
4433s but it does allow for way more
4434s flexibility being able to carry that
4436s stuff over
4439s definitely there we go uh but new
4442s additions for the the Boost and that we
4444s have for PTR obviously we'll end up
4446s having the new unique items within uh
4449s the character boost that will be
4450s available uh in season 7 PTR we'll have
4453s you know witchcraft pow as the the
4454s Witchcraft progression items uh that we
4456s had talked about earlier as well so
4458s those will be all part of the PTR boost
4460s so it gives you guys the tools of being
4462s able to test everything and getting us
4464s feedback uh for anything that you guys
4466s want to change uh before uh the season 7
4469s uh and Patch 2.1 actually kicks
4471s off cool now we can go if you in it uh I
4476s do want to uh call out quickly just a
4478s reminder that we will have a Blog up
4480s immediately after the stream for uh PTR
4483s patch notes will be next Wednesday again
4485s this is due to us streaming a little
4487s early for the holidays just to make sure
4489s that everyone was here to do a stream uh
4491s for PTR and then PTR is planning on
4493s starting on December 3rd so players will
4496s be able to jump into PTR then of course
4498s it is just PC battl net just easier for
4500s us and more flexibility for us to be
4502s able to do updates and everything from
4503s our end uh for PTR but uh I know we have
4507s a question teed up so if you have
4508s questions please put them in chat and we
4511s will uh get those you know we'll try to
4514s address as many as possible for the end
4515s of the stream I have to like reach over
4517s there's like a plant here that no one
4519s can see but uh will all the PTR content
4521s be available on day one is the is a
4525s question that we probably um we we've
4527s heard when we announce a PTR stream and
4530s we know that players are probably going
4531s to ask just because with the past PTR U
4535s you know we had out yeah we did split it
4537s out um we will say that all the PTR
4539s content will be available day one so
4541s players can jump in uh and actually uh
4544s check out everything related to uh patch
4546s 2.1 immediately with day one uh whenever
4550s they need to so shouldn't be a problem
4552s um jumping into some questions um small
4555s petting zoo I know small petting zoo
4557s they're they're a person that plays a
4559s lot of of companion Dr I would imagine
4561s based on the so they're asking uh will
4564s there be fixes to storm and werewolf
4566s tags given to Druid wolves uh by the uh
4569s item Storm's companion um they have
4571s never functioned would more than double
4573s the damage of the build Yes actually uh
4575s as part of that comprehensive update
4577s that I mentioned to summons across the
4578s game uh I did take path to to look at at
4581s specifically updating how the Wolves
4583s interact with Storm's companion and now
4585s now uh whenever they're imbued with a
4587s lightning from storms companion they do
4589s count as Lightning skills and because
4591s the you know not to get too technical
4593s but because the way the damage is
4595s calculated and and and um attributed uh
4597s it should also work with all the things
4599s that say Hey when you deal lightning
4601s damage do something special your your
4603s lightning wolves are going to be be
4605s triggering and interacting with all
4606s those effects it should be it should
4608s work in every way that that you're
4610s expecting to going forward awesome
4612s shocky
4614s pets uh question from narrator dog how
4617s does this fit into how does like the
4619s season 7 stuff fit into lore uh because
4622s during vessel of hatred and the tree
4624s seem to be on good terms Dan I don't
4626s know if you want to answer this or or if
4628s you want me to answer it uh up to you um
4632s yeah so I'll say first off we're not
4634s going to get too deep of an answer uh
4636s we're going to reveal more uh about the
4639s story uh as uh we get closer to the
4642s release of season 7 uh that said uh we
4645s are really looking at trying to build
4649s upon the events of vessel of hatred uh
4652s with every season moving forward and so
4655s um you'll start seeing changes in the
4657s world as we do that and I'll leave it at
4660s that cool you'll hear more soon again we
4663s we plan on doing a uh more grandiose
4666s reveal of season 7 content in the story
4670s as we get closer to the release so uh
4672s you'll hear more about um kind of like
4675s the backstory of everything and how the
4677s tree of Whispers plays into everything
4679s as well um question from uh toothless 81
4683s is there going to be a rework or cost
4685s reduction to masterworking uh Veil
4688s crystals have become a huge roadblock
4689s we're trying to uh gear multiple
4692s alts yeah I think um we are always
4695s keeping our eye on the economy we did a
4697s big pass uh if you remember we did a
4699s stream last week that was talking about
4700s tightening up the economy um so we do
4703s intend on taking a look at generally how
4706s things are playing out um I think alt is
4708s something that we need to definitely be
4710s taking a look at we do want to encourage
4712s alt gameplay um those was part of the
4713s big Paragon changes so um that sort of
4716s feedback is super valuable it's really
4717s good to know that veiled crystals are
4719s that alt Blocker we want to make sure
4720s that alts are something that players are
4722s really excited about if that's something
4724s that they want to pursue so appreciate
4727s that um question related to um like
4731s stacking items this is from U Maran
4735s gaming uh any plans on the amount that
4737s you can stack like items potions like uh
4741s like potions keys and runes wow I can't
4743s read um any any updates or are we
4745s looking at any of that type of thing we
4747s definitely are looking at it uh we don't
4749s have anything to share but it's top of
4751s mind um I know that boss materials for
4753s example are at 50 um there are some
4755s technical reasons why we have it like
4756s that but it's something we are actively
4758s looking at um
4762s draconia mentions uh do you know of XP
4765s Wells are getting fixed and uh do you
4767s know if there's a opportunity for maybe
4770s pets uh collecting loot a little bit
4772s faster or anything on the screen for for
4774s players I I know that XP well definitely
4777s has been reported and it's something
4778s we're looking into so we know about it
4780s we're looking at it um this is part of
4783s the PTR is to find a lot more of these
4785s types of problems so we will look at it
4787s um as far as the pets uh no plans at the
4789s moment I know we've done a big pass on a
4791s lot of things to essentially make sure
4794s that like when uh rare item drops and
4796s torment it's just going to get Auto
4797s Salvage so we do try and essentially
4799s make a lot more of the loot uh just Auto
4801s pick up a
4802s bow um question from mag's PVE will
4807s Druid ever see some love for Ravens uh
4810s would be awesome to have a maybe a
4812s different companion outside of like the
4814s wolves and everything that they have
4816s right now or the the uh The Vines and
4818s stuff wait is there any plans for maybe
4821s uh adjustments to Ravens in the future
4823s yeah absolutely the Ravens uh you know
4825s one of the the three companions compared
4827s to the Wolves and the vine creeper which
4830s I I think are are often a bit more of
4832s the the Marquee ones in the companion
4833s builds at least as they currently are uh
4835s that's something we're definitely aware
4836s of and and going forward you know when
4839s we look to make new new effects for for
4841s these companion builds um I think Ravens
4844s might be uh you know maybe the next one
4845s we start looking at but nothing I can
4847s commit to firmly at this point um but
4850s it's definitely something that we have
4852s noticed and uh yeah it's something we'll
4854s we'll keep in mind appreciate that part
4856s of that summoning tag update was really
4857s to sort of give us more tools to do
4859s things like improve the Raven experience
4861s or the call the Ancients experience yeah
4864s yeah I think that summon update is is
4866s going to be really huge for companion
4868s Druids and and every other build that
4869s uses these um and we'll definitely you
4872s know look at it under that new lens um
4875s uh after this update and and see where
4877s we can make further improvements uh
4879s we'll do one last question but this is
4880s like a two-parter questions from two

4889s will items in the Armory be locked from
4891s accidentally selling them uh and
4894s separately will saved items for Armory
4896s builds have like maybe an icon or
4898s something associated to them to kind of
4899s like call them out that they are part of
4901s a saved build yes so when you do save a
4904s load out we favored all of those items
4906s so just automatically that happens no no
4910s mistaken like oh crap you'd have to
4913s unfavored it then sell it uh and then
4915s that at that point it's like well it's
4917s sort of on you um and then the second
4919s part is yes there is a little icon that
4921s does indicate that hey this is part of
4923s an Armory cool so yeah you know that
4925s like hey this is part of a build don't
4927s don't mess with it don't accidentally
4929s unfavored it or anything like that which
4931s is uh good to know so um cool well we
4935s again thank you guys for for uh uh
4937s tuning in for our patch 2.1 PTR stream I
4941s know there's a lot of uh news coming
4944s down the line for Diablo 4 as we get
4946s closer to uh 2.1 uh but we do have a
4949s Blog that will be going live this
4951s afternoon probably right after this
4952s stream and again our patch notes the
4954s full patch notes for this PTR will be
4956s next Wednesday so it's a little bit of a
4959s delay mainly due to the holidays and us
4961s doing the stream a little bit early
4963s normally we have the patch notes
4964s immediately after the stream uh so
4965s there's going to be way more content
4967s beyond what we just talked about here in
4969s those patch notes for people to actually
4971s check out and of course patch 2.1 PTR is
4974s launching on December 3rd uh for PC
4976s battl net users so really looking
4978s forward to people jumping in trying
4980s everything that we talked about today
4981s including the new features including the
4983s Armory including all the season 7 stuff
4985s with witchcraft powers and Ault gems
4987s that we we actually heard um from uh Dan
4990s as well so huge thanks to Dan out in
