I also can't choose between OPEN and GROUP or individual player.
There is only one start button.


Have you restarted your game? It can sometimes take a little while for all servers to catch up. If you are still getting this in the next 30 minutes or so please let us know.

Folks, whilst I appreciate your antagonism towards one other does provide ample nutrients to the cosmic horror that keeps hiding just out of my field of vision, if you could keep your comments towards the update so it's easier to track if anything is on fire, that would be really appreciated. Gotta go now, the thing just moved closer and that's always a concern.

OK, here's my feedback. All three of my pilots updated quickly and efficiently.
Only one problem. One of the biggest bugs I see pilots complaining about is https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/62015.
[HEADING=2]System Authority and Power Play agents unprovoked agro.[/HEADING]
8 pages of reports. Count em... 80 reports (per the tracker). That's just the pilots that bothered to report it. I would say that means over 10K pilots have had this issue, many dying because Security Forces are firing on ships when scanning them.
This is keeping pilots from completing massacre missions.

What's it gonna take for you to pay attention and fix this?


Hello! Sorry if you missed it but on page 2 of this thread I have highlighted we are very much aware of this issue and are working to find a solution. Sadly it was not possible for this update but rest assured the team are well aware of it.

The Elite Dangerous live/4.0 servers will be offline from 8am UTC for the release of Update 17.01. Servers will be unavailable until approximately 12pm UTC.

Elite Dangerous Live/4.0 servers are now available and Update 17.01 is now live!

Thread is now open for feedback, urgent issues (Please do still use the Issue Tracker) or void born chanting you may wish to share.

Servers can sometimes take a while for the hamsters to get to full speed in their treadmills, so please don't panic if the update/servers are not available for you right away.

Has the issue of friendly npcs (such as system security) shooting at you been resolved with this release?


This is a known issue we are investigating but is not resolved in this particular update.

Hey folks. A few people have mentioned an issue with logging into Legacy servers. We've released a fix that should resolve this shortly so you should be able to login again. it may take a while for some servers to finish updating but if you try and relog you should be able to play again.
