[2019] Since the split to r/tarkovmemes, this subreddit has digressed to the same 5 posts over and over.

Terrible bug report posts, Nikita pls do x y z and hand deliver loot to me, demanding a tiny change that doesn’t really matter, and the greatest of all: unpopular opinion - gives popular opinion. This last one is also known as the “can we just take a minute to... ”

They banned memes during a time where we needed a wipe for fresh content. They wanted the sub to be filled with actual content but in essence they’ve actually created an environment where lesscontent is being generated.

It’s funny but if people wanted to see these repeat posts instead of memes they’d upvote them more than memes. But even with the meme ban, when a meme slips through if its funny it beats all those repeat posts without question.

The top post today was a meme about comtacs..... there was actually discussion in the comments. I don’t see the problem in allowing this.
