Does anyone else have the issue of being unable to deploy into a raid? This seemingly happens when I bring more gear and less when I use just a pistol for example. I have been desperately trying to fix this for over a week, and been getting some lack luster results.

When did it start - patch 12.7.8922

Issue - Unable to deploy into raid with in game error, awaiting session start

Occurrence - I would say happens 60% of the time

Steps to Reproduce - Go online PMC, gear up, go into any map, wait till 00:00, the following error occurs. You wait 5,10,15,20 minutes and never deploy.

[Exception] : NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Additional Information -

I can deploy into any offline raid 100% of the time. I have yet to see the game fail to deploy my scav aka my scav works. When playing with groups if my game is going to break, it does the moment they are "in" the raid and that error pops up.

Steps taken to resolve -

  1. Reinstall
  2. Restart
  3. Verify cache/game files
  4. Fresh install (removing all temp BSG files and directories)
  5. Windows Reimage
  6. Checking all permissions on BSG client
  7. Ensure all firewall rules pass through
  8. Queuing with and without a party
  9. Ensure all drivers up to date
  10. Ensure BIOS up to date
  11. Ensure Windows up to date
  12. Turned off all anti virus (Yes even windows defender)
  13. Removed all items from Gamma
  14. Removed Gamma
  15. Select Any Server
  16. Select a single server with the closest ping

With all steps taken above I still get issues deploying into raid more than 50% of the time. Here is a list of videos which I made for BSG support -

This is a highly extensive 2 hour video where you can watch me do a fresh install and the game fail on the first raid:

https://youtu.be/39gWRAvjksQ

These are others from when the issue became more prevalent:

If anyone has any other advice I will gladly try it. I have played this game for almost everyday for the last three years, and I am finally starting to feel the withdrawals.

Did you create a bug report through the launcher? Could you write a request number?

Hello, yes I made a request number. I was unsure if to post it here, but since you asked for it - #7462952

This is a case marked "resolved" - #7462952

Ok, thanks

Different Error than typical but I still can't play the game. All drivers once again fully updated. Is there any progress on this?

I gave information to the developers, so far there is no other information

As I already wrote, the information was transferred to the developers.

I have clarified the information, they are working on this problem. Unfortunately, I cannot give any more information yet.

Hello, So it seems to me this is related to the Dog Tag Case. Not sure what happens but that causes the error. After testing, it would seem after bringing a full dogtag case (tags collected over various weeks) that it causes the error. Not bringing a dogtag case fixes the issue. I was speculating that a player is 'banned' and their tag is now null? No idea but removing the dog tag case will fix the issue. I will have to see what happens when I fill up this current one.

Could you take out the dogtags (just take out half each time) and find out which dogtag is causing the error?

Do you have the ability to read support chats?

I let them know of my analysis, I have already made videos documenting this issue in extreme detail (One is 2 hours long with multiple test scenarios https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39gWRAvjksQ). The support team did not view any of these videos with a higher retention rate than 9 seconds (when I last checked). If they had actually viewed the videos I would be more inclined to help further. I have literally spent 10 hours of my life documenting it for you guys. All I have done is try to help, and all the support has done is not read or view my messages/videos in full and respond with automated messages. Then support asks for more videos to be made after not watching the first few. There are multiple videos on this reddit thread related to the issue. Those videos link to my channel where I have a playlist called "EFT Bug Reports".

Yes, sure

https://youtu.be/39gWRAvjksQ?t=2990 - A bit off-topic, but this moment is really funny)

Watching the entire video for 2 hours is really not very convenient.
Try to find the exact dog tag that is causing the error. And I'll give the information to the developers, see what can be done.

I will attempt narrowing the tag causing the error tonight sir. Thanks!

Thanks)

Just put half of the dog tags in the stash and try to enter the raid. If the error persists, lay out half of the rest. As soon as the error disappears, it means you have just lay out a group in which the problematic dog tag. Place this in inventory and try next. So you will find the problem dog tag as quickly as possible)

I am going to work on that later today/this weekend. Can you please tell whoever is handling my ticket that this isn't a network related issue. They constantly think it is anything but a game bug. I can reproduce constantly. I just want it labeled properly so it is taken care of. I hope you understand.

The specialist was inattentive, reading your message (otherwise his last reply would not have been like this 17 hours ago), I will make him a remark.

We are waiting for information
