[2022] [Linux] Launcher can not update, sometimes does not start or still does not start the game

What launcher version do you see? Current is 2022.6


Can we please get the launcher logs. They are in:

• $XDG_DATA_HOME/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2/logs/ (if $XDG_DATA_HOME is set)
• ~/.local/share/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2/logs/ (if $XDG_DATA_HOME is not set)

And what distro is this please? Strictly speaking only Ubuntu is supported for the launcher and the game, although they'd usually run under other common ones.  

Looks like a comms issue of some sort:

Can you try a different DNS perhaps? Use Google's ones if you are not already - 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4  

Still, can you please try a different DNS provider?

Failing that, can you test while using a VPN, or even a mobile phone hotspot to connect?  

I don't know then. Can you move the machine to a different physical location, OR try another machine there?
