I feel like I do my part of the deal in Fall Ball. I defend, I attack, I grab opponents, but most of the time my team still gets our asses handed to us. Is it really possible that I am the deciding factor every time (among 4-8 other randoms)? It just seems unlikely (am I in the denial stage?).

Pick a role and try to stick to it. Striker, midfielder, goalie. I prefer being goalie and I think I'm pretty good at it. Unless your teammates are total duds, you can expect them to score one or two goals. As goalie, you job is to make sure your team has just one score more than the opponent. I don't trust any other player who wants to be goalie. I have been burned too many times by bad goalies who usurp my spot. Now I always insist on defending the goal.

This is it yep!

I find that most of the time my team will instantly run and want to be the star striker getting loads of goals (which.... i mean, they rarely are), but if I play a strong defence then I can at least stop our team conceding loads whilst the rest of them are at the opposing goal. Strong defence makes way more impact than a strong attack in Fall Ball.

Team games (or rather, the fact that I have to depend on other people to qualify) are the reason I avoid the main show, but this morning I just couldn't find a Big Yeetus Tour match, so I jumped into a main show where I got Fall Ball, which reminded me why I avoid it.

I will try to stick to defense next time I get it, though. Thank you for the advice.

It gets really difficult to tolerate when you get loads of low-qual teams in a row, I know. Like if someone who starts Jinxed is AFK or just awful at their job - that one hurts the most for me because I love jinxed :<

Over time we hope that in general team skills get better. I have I'd say a 3:1 experience good:ohno.
