[2021] Bethesda please fix the laser weapons damage already

How many years has it been that non-legacy lasers underperform compared to every other weapon? Why cant I use laser weapons as late-game weapons unless its a sh*tty exploding legacy I couldnt care about?

There are many weapon platforms in the game but so few are actually viable past level 50, specially the laser rifle, that still has the broken damage resistance formula that never got adressed.

As much as I love this game, the fact I have to pick one of 5 viable guns is really boring me out, where's the variety? This sucks...
