In some instances, yes it definitely is possible. Throughout the Wastelanders questline, you could even lose reputation by picking certain dialogue options when you speak to the Settlers/Raiders, so for those looking at this, be careful :D

Awesome! Thank you for letting me know, didn't wanna lock myself out of something without knowing before hand!

You're welcome! I should also add that, for instance, when you do the Raider questline at the end you can get a legendary gun that you wouldn't be able to get if you chose to side with the Settlers for instance, but this is different to being able to purchase items from the faction vendors, so keep that in mind too

If I get max rep with one faction, is it possible to lose a rank by doing quests for the other faction, like the photo quest?

Good question. Let's say you're max rep with the raiders and you do the Davenport quest to sell the photo to Ward. You will NOT lose reputation. You will also NOT lose reputation if you do the Ward settler quest and kill the thief that happens to be a Raider.

There would be a situation where you could lose Settler reputation by doing the Ward quest and convincing the Raider thief to give you caps in exchange for letting them walk away. In that instance, you would lose Settler rep (I believe even if you have max rep with them too - so just be careful).

Is that a shotgun with an explosive legendary effect? If so, equip fireproof rank 3 - it'll help prevent the splash damage to yourself

That will be a good difference. Try ensure the game is running in full screen too - you'll get better performance in all likelihood

Stealth is a very good end-game build, especially when you have the right weapons and armour. There's a lot of great stealth build suggestions online, so if you like this playstyle, go for it. Captainoob is a fellow Aussie YouTuber with some cool stealth builds - I suggest you check out his videos :)

You can definitely get those items which are purchasable from the faction vendors, no matter which faction you side with. So if you want the ammo machine, side with the raiders to get more reputation with them and be able to get the ammo machine faster. That will just take you longer to max out your reputation with the Settlers, but by doing the Ward daily and selling raider photos to Ward via the Davenport quest, you will eventually max out the Settler reputation too. This will allow you to buy the items locked to the Settler vendor at max reputation.

Thanks for responding to OP. 2 questions if I may, first the obvious one of any general ballpark timeline of a solution? 2nd, will the Thanksgiving display come back before november?

That's okay! In all honesty, I currently don't have answers to those questions unfortunately. Once there is an update, it'll be shared in the forums.

You can keep an update on this thread linked below but also once the issue is fixed, the message of the day in-game will be changed:

They're definitely worth considering if you run a lot of scorchbeast queen runs especially, just keep in mind it'll be a tad harder to craft ammo for it. Even though I have the ability to craft prime on all my guns, I mostly choose not to since I like having easily craftable and lootable ammo.

Unyielding pieces are indeed random - whenever an enemy drops a piece of armour, it has a chance of being unyielding, as do pieces of armour you can craft with legendary modules (i.e. secret service armour).

Yes, unfortunately display cases and vendors are disabled while an issue is being worked on.

Like Vishimtar said, there's no need to rush but, for some tips:

- Leveling up: Equip rank 3 inspirational, play as a team, sleep in your camp to gain +5% experience, eat canned meat stew from the feed the people event when you can (another +5% experience) and kill as many enemies as possible. Ghouls are great for experience.

- Scrip: you get scrip from events and selling legendaries to the legendary scrip vendor at Stations. The treasure hunter event on right now is a good way to get legendaries to be able to scrip at these station, but again some events have a good spawn of legendaries especially when you get to a higher level event (uranium fever, radiation rumble, etc) and areas like West Tek (again, once you can go there) spawn a few legendaries.

- Plans: can be bought from most vendors, just depends on what you want. They can also be found and dropped randomly, so focus on what you need and aim to get those first. The rest will follow once you get a fe...

Yes - no matter who you side with, you can still talk to them afterwards and access their shop. It would just take you a little longer to open up the full catalogue of items that are sellable by those faction vendors - since some of them are tied to what your reputation is with that faction.

I suggest you side with the faction that sells you the items that you really want so you can unlock them faster. I.e. if you want the gauss minigun, side with the Raiders. If you want the gauss shotgun, side with the Settlers. And so on :)

You're maxed out on legendary scrip, so before you earn more, I suggest heading to the Rusty Pick and buying some legendaries or legendary modules. The cap for legendary scrip is 1000.

I've seen it happen, it's when the Treasure hunter takes the place of a robot, just had it happen in Beckley 10 minutes ago. Doesn't happen all the time just occasionally.

Huh, that's odd but super grateful for this info, thank you mate
