Dear Kings and Queens,

Following our analysis, as well as your feedback, we have decided to postpone Guild Perks. That means that the current cycle (that runs until December 29th), will be the last one until a later date (following changes to the feature).

This decision was reached, due in large part to your wishes as a community, and in recognition that the feature needs some necessary changes to reach its full potential.

While the feature will not be available in the short-term (after December 28th), it is still very much in our plans for 2022. Indeed, the feature still has a solid foundation, and we look forward to building on that and providing you with an updated version in the coming year.

  • The furthest zoom level did not work, after you visited your settlement. It now works as intended again
  • Sending your ship (from arctic harbor or ocean terminal) multiple times in one session would generate an error. We fixed this issue now

Dear Kings and Queens,


Now, we all know you have cultivated various Great Buildings throughout your time in Forge, but how well do you know them?

  • In rare cases, it was possible to trade the last 2 of one blueprint, so that you ended up with 0 for that blueprint. This no longer possible and 2:1 trades can only be done, when you select 2 different blueprint or you have at least 3 of one blueprint
  • If you were unable to aid a player (for example he was not in your guild anymore), the popup with the aid reward was displayed at the wrong location for every aiding you did after that
  • We did some balancing changes to the Fiore Village

With the next update, we will change some stats for the Fiore Village. We increased the goods from 30 (6 of each) to 32 (32 of one), guild goods from 20 to 25 and increased the defense for your attacking army. I will update the stats in the previous post after the update is done. Thank you for all the feedback you provided regarding the building!

  • The Perk "Army of Thieves" gave the wrong boost. It is now changed to goods for kills from your attacking army

Dear Kings and Queens,

Currently there is an issue with the Perk: "Army of Thieves". One of the Boosts is: "+X% chance of 1 current era Good per unit your defending army kills". This is not correct and it should be the kills from your attacking army. Currently we plan to fix this issue on Monday, We will let you know in the feedback thread, if this changes.

  • We added a new function to the Guild Perks to mark Perks as "Recommended". Guild Leaders can select these Perks and a "Recommended"-Marking will be added to the Perk for every Guild member

  • When your guild was created during an active Guild perks cycle and you clicked on the Guild Perks button, you would receive an error. You now get the message, that you will have to wait until the next cycle starts

  • As already announced separately, we made some balancing changes to the guild perks. They will be activated after the update. The start of the new cycle will also be delayed until the update is finished
  • We made some UI improvements to the Forge Bowl Grand Prize window

Dear Kings and Queens,


We would like to thank everyone that previously sent in tickets, provided detailed reports, as well as submitted videos as a response to our previous announcement.


With the help provided, we hope now to have determined the core causes of the Guild Battlegrounds performance issues, as well as targeted fixes for them with the next couple of updates.


The first of these mobile updates (1.219), will go live this week, and should hopefully address a primary cause of these performance issues.


Following that, we will have a further update during the first week of January 2022 (1.220), which should hopefully also address a further cause of these issues, and continue to improve performance for the feature.

For the next cycle, starting December 8th, we will make some changes to Guild Perks!

Based on community feedback, we have made adjustments and redesigned Perks, as well as rebalanced Donation Actions and the levelling of Perks.

Please make sure you are in a Guild by the 8th, and let us know what you think of our changes here!

Bugfixes
Castle System:
  • The text when collecting the Daily Castle Points was too long for some languages and did not fit in the window. We realigned the text, to be a bit higher, so that it fits.
  • After an exchange in the Antiques Dealer finished, the order of the Slots was wrong. Now your unlocked Castle System Slots will be in front of the still locked slots.
General Bugfixes:
  • Some tooltips had extra space next to the blue headline box. We removed this and aligned it with the left side.
  • In the Message Center, a conversation without any messages was always displayed at the top of all conversations. This does not happen anymore.
