| 113s | happened in chapter four season two kind |
| 114s | of recap on the season because chapter |
| 116s | four season three uh is coming our way |
| 118s | as well thoughts on that as well as |

| 121s | dream hack Dallas as well happening |
| 123s | recently too uh but let's just let's |
| 125s | let's Kickstart things with what a great |
| 127s | season Chapter Four Season Two has been |
| 128s | like we've had loads of fun as Jenny |
| 131s | mentioned there you know we've all been |
| 132s | very lucky part of like the the |
| 133s | broadcast was fnc Essen and the like as |
| 135s | well |
| 136s | um let's just talk about highlights |
| 137s | personal highlights what have been some |
| 138s | of the favorite things 11 kickstarters |
| 140s | here what have you what have you enjoyed |
| 141s | about this season what's really stuck |
| 142s | out for you buddy oh man how much time |
| 144s | do we have how much time do we have left |
| 146s | all the time in the world I'll be real |
| 148s | right you for me I have the the view of |
| 150s | a player and the view of you know an |
| 152s | analyst and and I'll get to sort of both |
| 154s | as best as I can but as a player I came |
| 157s | into a season |
| 158s | you know a bit down I was I was very |
| 160s | very I wasn't I wasn't too optimistic my |
| 162s | favorite game mode in the game is late |
| 164s | game arena and coming into the season it |
| 167s | was like we weren't gonna have late |
| 168s | again Marina so I was really coming into |
| 169s | the season like oh man like what am I |
| 171s | gonna play what am I gonna do I'm Not |
| 172s | Who am I even gonna log on and play like |
| 174s | I didn't know but first of the season I |
| 176s | log on at him and I took the amount of |
| 179s | changes and new things like the whole |
| 181s | zones were different we had kinetic |
| 184s | blades a whole new part of the map that |
| 186s | was just massive and crazy with mega |
| 188s | City we had votes we had finally we had |
| 191s | cash we had so much stuff that like I |
| 195s | ended up spending a lot more decision |
| 196s | just playing like Battle Royale than I |
| 198s | would have thought I would as a player |
| 200s | um and then of course as like a |
| 202s | commentary and analyst that just |
| 203s | provides for so much content in like the |
| 205s | pro level where it's like even to this |
| 208s | point like at the very end of the season |
| 211s | and it's like I I'm still just amazed by |
| 213s | all the different things we've had to to |
| 215s | sort of play with |
| 217s | dude it has been insane I still feel |
| 220s | like I need to explore more and there's |
| 222s | another season coming up and I'm just |
| 224s | like whoa hey I still am enjoying this |
| 226s | one but genuinely my favorite parts of |
| 228s | it I have absolutely loved the uh |
| 231s | kinetic blade and the odm gear the |
| 233s | rotations being able to move around the |
| 235s | map quickly because you know I'm not a |
| 238s | competitive player I just like to have |
| 240s | fun I love watching competitive but I |
| 242s | just enjoy like beef bopping around the |
| 244s | map and exploring and you know getting |
| 247s | uh 10 eliminations at least per game so |
| 249s | you know just it allows me to you know |
| 251s | fly around the map and just get |
| 252s | elimination super quick so great great |
| 254s | part in addition to the season but I |
| 257s | also love Blue Island I think um you |
| 260s | know having uh the rifles the pulse |
| 262s | rifles have been like crazy people |
| 264s | cannot wait to get their hands on those |
| 266s | uh it's just been wild to see that in |
| 269s | competitive as well |
| 273s | 10 eliminations per game and you can see |
| 275s | there's an average fortnite player but |
| 277s | sometimes I think are you mad yeah |
| 279s | coaching services |
| 284s | oh just like telling elimination that's |
| 287s | amazing I mean I think I think you're |
| 288s | right I think you know rotation is |
| 290s | definitely the thing that things will be |
| 291s | I think every single season that you |
| 292s | know a new fortnite kind of season drops |
| 294s | we they're very we rotate and get around |
| 296s | the map and there you know there's |
| 297s | always these new creative ways introduce |
| 299s | you much like odm gear and such as well |
| 300s | it's been great and the kinetic plays |
| 301s | been so much fun particularly and end |
| 303s | game in in in tournaments and |
| 305s | championships as well it's so fun to |
| 306s | watch that happen but I think you're |
| 308s | right the the different parts of the map |
| 309s | that can tend to change it's a real big |
| 311s | factor you know I mentioned Mega city as |
| 312s | well where the rails have been a real |
| 314s | fun to do for someone who loves to grind |
| 315s | a battle pass like I do XP wise there's |
| 317s | nothing I love more than a quest which |
| 319s | is spend five minutes on a rail I will |
| 321s | do that happily just going round in |
| 323s | circles round and round and round |
| 326s | um but um I mean the fight the vibe as |
| 327s | well has been great but I think |
| 328s | thematically as well Mega City I mean to |
| 330s | look at visually I love that kind of |
| 332s | neon vibe to it I think I've really |
| 334s | enjoyed it I think we're all going to |
| 335s | look and see what the kind of new kind |
| 336s | of theme is around Seasons I think it's |
| 338s | been a really cool one too Devin yeah |
| 340s | I'm I'm not going to pretend I'm some |
| 342s | sort of you know aesthetic nerd that |
| 345s | knows everything you know and is like an |
| 347s | Aficionado in that regard I I don't but |
| 349s | I will say I know it's good when like |
| 352s | you see like random people on social |
| 353s | media like seeing Mega scene going oh |
| 355s | wow that looks cooler that's in fortnite |
| 356s | like I think that's always like a good |
| 358s | almost sort of like test like litmus |
| 360s | test of like is this like something cool |
| 362s | that people like visually and I think it |
| 364s | definitely passed that test |
| 366s | um and and you're right in terms of |
| 368s | actually going in game right like first |
| 369s | day that's all anybody sort of had their |
| 372s | eyes on right just Mega City like what |
| 374s | what is this how do we tackle this so |
| 376s | much loot there obviously the vaults are |
| 378s | crazy right and the fights for the votes |
| 380s | even crazier I quickly realized that I |
| 384s | don't have the facilities to to fight |
| 385s | for the vote at Mega City every game |
| 388s | um I'll head over to Bastion instead or |
| 389s | Shad stabs but Mega really really cool |
| 393s | POI and uh you know if it'll be around I |
| 396s | actually don't know but um |
| 398s | I love magazine I feel like you know a |
| 401s | lot of people had the nostalgic feeling |
| 403s | that it was going to be kind of like |
| 404s | tilted towers that Vibe where like |
| 406s | everybody landed there and I got that |
| 408s | exact Vibe I think the way that they |
| 410s | laid it out it also being the first and |
| 413s | like to be the biggest POI like has just |
| 416s | been crazy they they're about everyone's |
| 418s | mind they're like wait you're gonna take |
| 419s | this large of a space to make it just |
| 421s | one POI was wild |
| 423s | um so you know having that feeling of |
| 425s | like that tilted Towers Feeling Again |
| 427s | was really cool and then of course like |
| 429s | you said the vaults and and the rails |
| 431s | but I think also it was really cool to |
| 433s | watch and competitive to the teams that |
| 435s | did land there using that to their |
| 436s | advantage like looting quicker in such a |
| 437s | large area and stuff |
| 439s | um I don't know just as small little |
| 440s | details are really cool and and having |
| 442s | the teams having to navigate and figure |
| 444s | out and learn that really large new POI |
| 448s | um was super interesting to do and also |
| 450s | such a short period of time before you |
| 452s | know like your next uh uh competition |
| 455s | their next you know like game so I think |
| 457s | uh you know that was that was a really |
| 459s | cool addition so I wonder I don't know I |
| 461s | don't like spoilers but I am kind of |
| 463s | thinking like what's gonna happen for |
| 464s | the next season even Beyond just Mega |
| 467s | itself like the surrounding areas with |
| 469s | like the similar sort of vibe like been |
| 472s | one of my favorite pois we've had in |
| 474s | fortnite in a long time right like I I |
| 476s | feel like just in general that whole |
| 478s | area of the map |
| 479s | um it's been it's been great great |
| 481s | addition yeah it really it definitely |
| 484s | hasn't you mentioned like it's a tilt |
| 485s | the towers there as well and it's kind |
| 487s | of like there's there's such a legacy |
| 488s | with the map now as well because it is |
| 489s | there's so many different iterations |
| 491s | different seasons things have added and |
| 492s | kind of come back and come different |
| 494s | versions and there's that's one thing |
| 495s | I've Loved about this it's kind of like |
| 497s | it seems that despite the fact you think |
| 498s | so much has been done already in |
| 499s | fortnite and the way the kind of map has |
| 501s | evolved over time there's always |
| 503s | something new that comes in you think I |
| 504s | wasn't expecting that I didn't think |
| 505s | that was going to be a thing and |
| 506s | suddenly here it is be aesthetic as we |
| 508s | mentioned or be it something you changes |
| 510s | the matter in way that yeah players |
| 511s | rotate or or take on them you know kind |
| 513s | of teams |
| 518s | not for the players obviously but for us |
| 520s | watching it as observers it's great |
| 522s | um I mean mid game objectives too I mean |
| 524s | generally we were talking about this a |
| 525s | few minutes ago before you went live in |
| 526s | we're talking about you know the fact |
| 527s | that we have like Rift Island's a big |
| 529s | factor here as well for you oh yeah Rift |
| 532s | Island was was so cool for me like |
| 534s | knowing where it's gonna spawn what's |
| 536s | gonna happen if you're close to it |
| 537s | because it can give you an advantage |
| 539s | obviously the game if you are closer to |
| 541s | when it spawns and you can get to it and |
| 543s | I mentioned like those rifles those |
| 544s | pulse rifles are oh man like I mean like |
| 549s | they're insane |
| 550s | if you're Thomas HD they are insane if |
| 554s | you are a high ground player and you |
| 555s | have that oh that is just a crazy |
| 558s | combination there so |
| 560s | um I think that that was also kind of |
| 562s | just a cool uh you know add-on and I'm |
| 564s | excited to kind of see that in something |
| 566s | you know new and and different that they |
| 568s | add on into like this following you know |
| 571s | Season uh because yeah that was |
| 573s | definitely interesting and we were |
| 575s | talking about you know just like |
| 575s | different weapons and stuff so I think |
| 577s | um to see what they come up with will be |
| 579s | really interesting |
| 580s | it's it's funny because it's like going |
| 582s | into the to the fncs Grand finals in EU |
| 585s | I asked me you know the eventual winner |
| 587s | of the whole thing right for his like |
| 589s | predictions and he literally said to me |
| 590s | if Thomas HDM malibuca gets Rift Island |
| 594s | every game they just win the tournament |
| 596s | um like it's just it's not even close |
| 598s | right and that was the person that ended |
| 600s | up winning in the most dominating |
| 601s | fashion ever so it just goes to show you |
| 603s | like how strong and how like well for |
| 606s | over with island is |
| 607s | um and and yeah I I think it was a big |
| 610s | big part of like the season as a whole |
| 612s | right yeah yeah massive part and you're |
| 614s | mentioning you know you know as well |
| 615s | there you know cruising video six six |
| 617s | Royals in finals just again this season |
| 620s | just absolutely insane that they could |
| 622s | do that and and do such a unbelievable |
| 624s | job I mean away from the I mean the the |
| 626s | I guess looking at fncs nature look at a |
| 629s | competition standpoint too you know new |
| 630s | modes came into the mix as well like |
| 632s | creative 2.0 gonna drop to like just |
| 635s | over Midway through the season which was |
| 636s | massive I mean the potential of that |
| 638s | because I see already people in a |
| 639s | building different you know creating |
| 641s | different things into point and create |
| 643s | 2.0 I mean it's um it's been great to |
| 646s | see that I mean I've played a lot of the |
| 648s | horror maps there's been a lot of horror |
| 649s | experiences where I basically petrified |
| 651s | the entire time it's just big things |
| 652s | scaring me loud noises it's been great |
| 654s | to do but you can see now that I guess |
| 656s | like creators are kind of coming up with |
| 658s | new ways of kind of making this even |
| 660s | more of a kind of like a immersive |
| 662s | experience now kind of utilizing the |
| 663s | tools that they have them and you can |
| 665s | see kind of a week on week on basis now |
| 667s | kind of the improvements being made to |
| 668s | the different kind of creative creative |
| 670s | 2.0 as well and there's so much to look |
| 672s | forward to ahead as well yeah I I was |
| 675s | here right um when we did the talk show |
| 677s | when it had just dropped to squatting |
| 679s | dog and we were obviously super excited |
| 681s | and thinking oh what are the |
| 682s | possibilities and to think that like so |
| 684s | much has already been done and there's |
| 686s | still so much that can be done and will |
| 687s | be done it is really exciting the sort |
| 690s | of potential there |
| 692s | um again like you said Adam right |
| 693s | hopping into so many of them actually |
| 694s | you just sort of play it and you're like |
| 696s | this is fortnite like it's mad like you |
| 698s | go into certain in Gamers and you're |
| 700s | thinking this is fortnite like yeah I |
| 703s | I've been creative people oh like Midway |
| 705s | through the season it was it was a big |
| 706s | thing and I think it's gonna continue to |
| 708s | be an even bigger thing uh season on |
| 711s | season so yeah that was huge yeah some |
| 713s | of the 2.0 maps have been my favorite |
| 715s | are like the escape room ones where uh |
| 718s | you I have played so many of them where |
| 720s | you know you have to get to the end and |
| 722s | escape and you can play with somebody |
| 724s | else you have to do like the like sort |
| 725s | of like Puzzles and and different um |
| 727s | different things to get out and escape |
| 729s | and yeah some of them were like |
| 730s | horrified and I do not do good with |
| 733s | scary things so |
| 734s | um to mix that in my fortnite Alex |
| 736s | fortnite is like you know like just fun |
| 738s | and probably whatever and then like just |
| 740s | crazy doll thing pops out like what is |
| 742s | going on so it it involves and changes |
| 746s | everything and I also think it's really |
| 748s | cool |
| 749s | um that the audience is allowed to put |
| 750s | their own like taste into fortnite and |
| 753s | you know get use that creative mindset |
| 756s | and really allow themselves to express |
| 758s | themselves through the game and that is |
| 760s | something something that you don't see |
| 761s | really often in a lot of games so huge |
| 763s | out of fortnite for that that's awesome |
| 765s | everyone and their mother is making Maps |
| 768s | now |
| 769s | actually making a map let's make it |
| 783s | it would be a football map where we |
| 786s | would use we would kick around a ball |
| 789s | and things like and then it's a working |
| 792s | progress It's a working progress to make |
| 795s | spoilers okay I mean the idea the idea |
| 798s | is sound it sounds really clear and |
| 800s | concise that's the main thing there |
| 801s | Jenny that's the main thing but football |
| 803s | on things and kicking stuff I mean I'm |
| 805s | I'm in I'm 100. immediately I mean I see |
| 811s | I mean you mentioned there about |
| 812s | different kind of like modes now in your |
| 813s | own creative and stuff as well and it's |
| 814s | you know the fact that we kind of |
| 815s | started with PVE way back when with |
| 817s | fortnite it's gonna evolved so much now |
| 819s | everyone building their own maps and |
| 820s | stuff too but you know it towards the |
| 822s | end of the season as well I mean the |
| 823s | announcement of ranked as well ranked |
| 824s | mode as well was was massive we've seen |
| 826s | that earlier recently a blog post as |
| 828s | well but kind of like you know talking |
| 829s | about ranked in in general 11 here in |
| 831s | the kind of like there was some kind of |
| 832s | stats coming out and different you know |
| 834s | different ranks I mean where where where |
| 835s | did you get to them where where was your |
| 837s | rank this season so uh my ranked |
| 840s | experience has been a unique one I uh |
| 842s | there we go I played I played on the |
| 844s | first day I got put in Platinum free |
| 846s | which ain't too bad that's right I'm not |
| 848s | too shabby yeah not too shabby |
| 850s | um and I played a bunch of solos and I |
| 852s | just was yeah I was not climbing let's |
| 854s | just say that I was not climbing |
| 856s | um I I thought what my plan was Adam was |
| 860s | I was gonna like just get like a bunch |
| 862s | of Pros to like just carry me to like |
| 864s | high ranks and I'm sure I could have |
| 866s | done that right like I have some friends |
| 867s | who are some were all right at the game |
| 869s | right |
| 870s | but like it was like just off the fncs |
| 873s | and so it was like a lot of people who I |
| 875s | would have asked to like just like play |
| 877s | in grind they were like just sort of |
| 879s | like holiday mode they weren't really |
| 880s | trying to play or maybe they just don't |
| 881s | like me anymore who knows you never |
| 882s | really know anyway |
| 884s | um but yeah I just didn't really get on |
| 886s | the grind so I I I'm still pla free I |
| 889s | think um and we'll see right you know |
| 892s | going into it was season zero right |
| 894s | season zero I'm waiting for season one |
| 896s | to to really make my mark in the ranked |
| 898s | world I got you I got it I mean God no |
| 902s | yeah listen 11 I'm I'm there with you |
| 905s | but I'm not at the same level as you |
| 907s | let's put it that way but I feel you as |
| 908s | a surprise I can't I'm not grinding it |
| 910s | I'm not gonna lie I tried and it was a |
| 914s | roller coaster of emotions there for me |
| 915s | I was going up and down I was like I |
| 917s | can't take this anymore like one game I |
| 918s | was on top of the world and the next guy |
| 920s | I'm like |
| 921s | what am I what am I doing here like why |
| 923s | am I doing this but um I think that I'm |
| 926s | in gold for everyone that wants to know |
| 928s | I'm a gold so I got there I'm taking it |
| 931s | I'm just saying that's a victory for me |
| 933s | I mean ever when you get a gold medal |
| 935s | it's first place so like to me I'm first |
| 937s | right |
| 938s | um I'll just keep it there but I have |
| 940s | not actually tried no builds for rank so |
| 944s | I do want to see if maybe that |
| 947s | experience would be better for me than |
| 948s | build I don't know we'll see but |
| 951s | um I do love the idea of ranked and it's |
| 954s | brought such a different competitiveness |
| 955s | to even just like the Casual player |
| 957s | which I think is super cool |
| 960s | yeah it's it's I think it's been really |
| 962s | simple and it will continue to evolve as |
| 963s | well which I think is really kind of |
| 964s | great as you know we see more the data |
| 967s | comes through things will change it's |
| 968s | gonna be fantastic I think you know I |
| 970s | very much for me I'm I'm kicking back in |
| 972s | Ebola pass through my dressing girl in |
| 973s | my silver three slippers that's just how |
| 975s | I roll silver three is me over three |
| 978s | Adam don't but mate I I'm not like you I |
| 981s | didn't play one game call up my mates |
| 983s | going hey guys you couldn't just help me |
| 985s | out could you who are all basically |
| 986s | winning things all the time |
| 988s | um and see you know Platinum Platinum |
| 989s | three I mean I think there's I think |
| 991s | there's I mean there's quite a small |
| 992s | perception three I think it is is it |
| 995s | zero bills Evan or is it uh is it kind |
| 996s | of is it is |
| 999s | there's like 0.13 there's a crazy stats |
| 1002s | there's not many players in in Platinum |
| 1005s | three so you're kind of you're kind of |
| 1006s | you're like like a rare shiny old |
| 1008s | sticker from old like like football |
| 1009s | collections you know what I mean that's |
| 1011s | what you get 11 2K that's what you get |

| 1014s | like higher 11 to move us up in our |
| 1017s | ranks you know |
| 1019s | exactly if there's anything |
| 1021s | overestimating me here guys I'll be real |
| 1023s | if there's anything the drop spots |
| 1025s | taught us it's that we've got so many |
| 1027s | other things going on at the back of |
| 1028s | this now you know designing new things |
| 1030s | changing things up all the time levels |

| 1034s | um you know we I mean we should look |
| 1035s | ahead now as well to uh to other things |
| 1038s | I mean I'm particularly for me I'm |
| 1040s | excited to see what is going to happen |

| 1046s | before we move on to what's gonna happen |
| 1047s | in Chapter Four Season three though |
| 1048s | which is talk about uh you and your |
| 1051s | knowledge you two personally just you |

| 1057s | Chapter Four Season Two And I think we |
| 1059s | like to do here on on the job store |
| 1061s | which is it's always a small quiz it's |
| 1064s | fine harmless quiz harmless quiz but |

| 1068s | judge you for it but just a harmless |

| 2385s | basically winning events before the |
| 2386s | event's done right like I feel like |
| 2388s | we're so accustomed to seeing if it's |
| 2390s | like a six game tournament 12 game tour |
| 2391s | it's like you'll go until the final game |
| 2394s | to know who the winner is whereas like |
| 2395s | at Dallas it was sort of like we needed |
| 2397s | one by like game four or something like |
| 2399s | it was just over with how good they were |

| 2402s | um I will say though I will say because |
| 2404s | I know I'm gonna get people you know |
| 2405s | hounding me down laughing what's going |
| 2407s | on with you you boys ain't making it |

| 2411s | qualification Sports what's going to |
| 2412s | happen like look eug hasn't quite |
| 2415s | performed in some of these na events as |
| 2418s | I would have wanted to the reality is |
| 2420s | look the jet lag you know all the |
| 2421s | traveling these guys are having to do is |
| 2423s | is taking a toll on them Jenny you |

| 2430s | like but when it comes time for Sweden |
| 2433s | in a couple weeks when it's dreamhack |
| 2435s | summer these guys are gonna show you why |

| 2459s | um and it's just him that gets growing |

| 2482s | but the n a side we saw some really cool |
| 2485s | performance um we saw Degen and sis |
| 2488s | lucky team up and we have not seen sis |
| 2490s | lucky we are heard from it in a while so |

| 2494s | performance um they played really well |
| 2495s | together and ended up winning so uh I |
| 2498s | honestly just I want to see if you know |
| 2500s | he'll continue to be playing together or |

| 2577s | season most of the players wouldn't have |
| 2579s | had much time to even practice like it's |

| 2582s | earlier right where like you wake up |
| 2584s | your POI has gone where you land in this |
| 2585s | tournament like you can't even claim a |
| 2587s | POI you don't know if it's going to be |
| 2589s | in the game come town for the tournament |
| 2590s | so it's gonna be a really really fun |
| 2592s | event just for like the question marks |
| 2595s | that are sort of around it I am so |
| 2598s | stoked to watch that I also have a |
| 2599s | friend competing I'm gonna give a shout |
| 2601s | out to reddish I'm rooting for her I |
| 2604s | love that girl and she's literally an |
| 2607s | insane fortnite player so |
| 2609s | um I'm definitely going to be watching |
