5s fall of TW together we broke down an
7s exciting game that took place over the
8s weekend in the FNC yes so let's dive in
11s to this Vaughn review what's going on
15s for tonight Pam I'm hanging out with

22s have heard my voice on some of the for
25s tonight world cup casts and we're
26s heading now into the F and the for
28s tonight Championship Series the trio's
30s competition we're gonna be taking a look
32s at one of the games one of the best
34s games from this weekend that just
36s occurred finals in EU it's gambits flexi
40s and let wick and then secret de mentos
43s who had a first place placements
45s throughout the weekend and a dominant
47s performance so we're gonna be taking a
49s look at one of those games Zeke yeah for
51s sure maybe for people that aren't
53s familiar with bog reviews maybe just
54s want to kind of break down what that is
55s cuz it's not quite a cast it's a little
57s bit different yeah water view is when we
60s basically try to learn as much as we can
62s by watching a replay back or a video on
66s demand from somebody stream or anything
68s like that we're gonna be trying to get
71s some insights on why these players do
73s the things that they do and are they the
75s best things possible right so Zeke and I
77s are gonna have engaging a little bit of
79s discussion on some things like for
81s example this split drop that's occurring
83s right now and try to come out with the
85s answer that might be appropriate for us
88s or maybe we can try it in our own game
90s player understand why they do certain
92s things that they do right Ryan we can
95s already take a look Levesque drop split
97s over unlucky landing let's take a look
99s at where we know for a fact the Flexi
101s you let it over an old yonder yard let's
104s see where to mentos is actually the gas
106s stations do that super split yeah that
109s is one split that is I have to say very
113s bold they're each on almost different
117s even different biomes here right DeMint
120s us in the desert then you have that wick
123s all the way in lucky landing he's in
125s right south and fatal fields and then
127s flexi in the winter area so I haven't
129s seen a split quite this bold in quite
132s some time
133s and you'll be able to get a lot of loot
135s from it though because of the three
137s different period is it there in a lot of
139s different chests and a lot of different
141s opportunities but risky to say the least
142s yeah so I mean again this is trios right
146s so if you are gonna be as polled and
150s make this split that means you can't
151s really back your teammates up right if
152s any of these party members get into a
155s fight in any means at all they're alone
158s they're out they're gonna be left alone
159s to dry so I like that they are being
163s this bold right cuz like like you kind
164s of leaned in a little bit was the loot
166s right you you're gonna have a way more
168s access to loot so much more but then you
170s kind of have to make your way back like
171s if we look back with let wick right he's
175s in the middle of the pack he's that
176s lucky so you've got two men just to his
178s right flex he's gonna be to his left
179s over at the old yonder yard so if
182s something happens he can he's gonna be
184s the one that's gonna be able to respond
185s either going right or left in trying to
186s meet up with that teammate while the
187s ones on the outside are gonna have a
188s little bit further to regroup but I mean
191s coming off the bus we didn't really see
193s anyone else falling with them so that's
195s probably why they're trying to be this
196s bold right they're like well we don't
198s see any parties close we could probably
202s make this work and if it works
204s it's gonna work really well yeah that's
206s the key is the spotting of other
209s opponents in the area spotting whether
211s you're being contested or not a certain
213s spot and then making adjustments there
215s and here clearly either they had
218s something going on in the last couple of
220s games where they're noticing that people
221s aren't favoring the south side of the
222s map or they realize just in this game
226s that there was literally nobody gliding
227s with them so they've made the call to
230s take the split and it's definitely gonna
232s pay off if we take a look
233s already Fleck sees loot I know that let
236s wick just found a launch pad their goal
239s right now is to be trying to increase
240s their loadout right you know the combat
242s shotgun you have the heavy AR you have
244s the silenced SMG you're trying to find
246s heals and mobility and all sorts of
248s utility to so with this split they give
252s themselves the most opportunity based on
255s what they saw early on to get as much
257s food as possible towards the mid game
259s and the endgame oh I like this so right
263s out the gate because of the split
265s they're rewarded with that storm Scout

267s that's huge Rika's now once they
270s regrouped Dementors can literally tell
271s them like look I know where the storm is
273s we can rotate accordingly we can make
275s these decisions so he's even going as
277s far as to rotate over to Puebla which is
280s pretty insane to me
282s all things considered like he might have
284s information and seeing like oh my maybe
286s I saw a team drop there maybe I didn't
288s but just to go in alone do that so brave
291s these guys are nuts
292s yeah but at the same time again remember
295s what we talked about
297s he saw that nobody was dropping towards
299s the south side of the map and then what
300s he does is he goes up that mountain to
302s spot is there anybody in put in in the
305s city right here in this little town is
307s there any loot taken already and we see
309s there's tons of ground loot obviously we
311s get a little bit more information in the
312s replay mode we can just look at the
314s mini-map in the bottom right to see
315s there's nobody here but he doesn't get
317s that information he does know now
319s because there's no loot taken from the
322s city there's no chest taken there's a
324s bunch of floor loot on the ground that
326s nobody came here he has plenty of time
327s to work with and then Zeke the other
330s discovery here when we switched over to
332s des Mentos and he has that storm scout
334s is they actually got zone so moving over
337s here is actually in the time constraints
341s that the zone does push you in the storm
343s is covering everywhere that they are
346s both lucky landing and yondu yards and
348s right here
349s Puebla mmm full-on chug splashes let's
353s go over to let wick I want to see what
354s he's kind of doing murmur he's a lucky
356s interesting so I'm assuming is this
358s flexy is this that is flexy okay
361s that scared me for just some home and I
362s was like there's a team rolling up it's
364s all good so so like we said right you
366s know in in him leaving he's gonna have a
368s chug splash left over which is fine but
370s look at this a half shield three minis
372s loadout aside from that it's fine it's
374s enough to take these early mid game
376s fights but you know they want to try and
378s upgrade as much as possible but now look
380s you've got him you've got let with who
382s now making this over he's on the the
384s drift board here who's gonna get himself
385s there quick and that's it man like now
389s they've got this really strong
390s positioning and they have whatever loot
392s that the Dementors decides to leave
393s behind right so he doesn't need another
396s gray are so there's one there oh I
398s thought he had maybe saw a play there
400s for just a moment it's wrong
401s but yeah this is I like this a lot and
404s again the only reason they were able to
405s make this plate in the first place
407s because was because they had information
408s right there like we don't see anyone
410s else going and I like you kind of
412s pointed out to Mentos took to the the
414s hill early right if he just walked in a
416s Pueblo there very well could have been a
417s team there but in him taking up on that
419s hill to the left he was like okay I can
421s look inside the most obvious loot spots
424s are unlooted no one's here there's no
426s way yeah all the loot on top of the
429s balconies and so on he'll just actually
433s works in all stage of the games right if
435s you need to get vision of what what your
437s rotate pack needs to be whether your
439s loot path is clear going forward hopping
442s up on high ground and taking a vantage
443s point where you can see if you need to
445s all right you see somebody is there and
447s you can duck back down or you can delay
449s the team long enough that your team can
451s then also take the high ground and that
454s team will not want to engage you so
456s smart play from de Mentos they've got
458s the storm Scout they're already actually
460s took a look at the storm Scout readout
462s they're already in the second zone yeah
465s and I'm just finding more loot left and
467s right he does he's actually deciding
468s whether he wants to take the time to go
470s down there for either than farm up look
472s at this materials League he's already
473s almost maxed out on all three types I
477s can't even imagine how confident they
481s must have felt in this game at this
482s moment right like you get the split drop
484s it's super successful it doesn't look
486s like anyone else close you'll find this
488s storm scout you find that you're in the
490s next own as well so you have so much
491s more time right because like if the
494s storm had gone away right so if it had
496s gone northward for example like they
499s would have actually had to try and make
500s a rotation right they would have had a
501s there would've been a little bit of a
503s little bit of pressure applied they
504s would had to be like okay well where do
505s we wanna go from here did we see another
507s team speaking about that of another team
509s Bhalla yeah so this is this is what I
511s want to go look at right now de Mentos
513s I'm sorry love with he's up on the hill
515s you saw him he's building like crazy and
517s he was the one that was actually spotted
518s this team out first because the other
520s two kind of joined him up here but yeah
524s I mean he was very quick to identify oh
525s there's another team yeah another team
527s and look what's he's like I'll watch I
529s got it no problem I think that's
532s interesting here is not only were they
534s with this
535s scout they're actually trading so that
536s everybody could see exactly where it was
537s on top of just marking it out and then
540s like you said let wick spotting out the
542s team the thing that he immediately does
544s they're trying to decide which mountain
546s they need to be on but because the team
547s does start encroaching they don't want
549s to move up forward they're gonna take
551s center zone in the second zone which is
553s something that the surmount gives them
555s the benefit of but what they do is they
557s built up on the high ground they build
559s full brick they waste a lot of brick
561s because they know they can just go back
563s down into Pueblo and farm out the walls
565s and stay max brick even if they go back
568s up into their big pace up on the
572s mountain and that's like not even
574s necessarily like a waste of brick right
576s because in them building that they're
578s kind of planting their flag right there
581s saying look if any other team is close
583s you know exactly where we're gonna be at
585s a nice eighty-one by the way but they're
588s they're basically telling everyone hey
589s look we are here Plus that means that
592s they can they can build themself this
593s fortress they could go back in continue
595s farming exactly like you're saying and
597s then they still have they like to not
598s necessarily wasted anything if anything
600s they've created a base and that's giving
602s them opportunity to if they need to
603s disengage they can all read group there
605s you've got I believe that's flexi no I'm
607s sorry it's actually let wick still up on
609s the hill
610s I mean his loadouts you know not much
613s better but look he's just sitting here
614s building out the base making sure once
616s these guys can come up him and his team
617s will be nice and secure and then he's
619s gonna be able to start poking his little
620s head out with the cone trick there this
622s is this is pretty insane like the level
625s of thought that's kind of going into
627s this you know a lot of times in game min
630s at you know mid action we're always
632s hopping around and there's always
633s something happening but being able to
634s kind of take a step back and look at
636s what these players are actually doing
638s and how they're really just like
640s securing themselves a spot and just
641s locking it down like that's crazy to me
644s yeah and again a lot of people would
647s would look at this and be like okay well
649s they got zone so that's a little bit of
650s luck in their favor oh they got a storm
652s Scout that's a little bit of luck in
654s their favor but when you think about how
656s they played this early game the only
658s point that I would I would say is a
660s little bit of luck in their favor is
661s really how many people dropped in their
663s area but that might have been something
665s that they studied themselves but with
667s all that being said
669s the storm Scout is not a product of just
671s you know landing at a house and luckily
673s getting in oh look how much loot they
675s covered and then this position again is
677s also not just a product of the split
680s that they got it's because they covered
682s all of this ground and they controlled
684s it you can see our ready they're trying
686s to control as much space as possible by
688s taking the high ground so early on
689s taking a nice viable spot they're gonna
692s be pushing teams away from them look
694s we're now in the second zone is about to
697s close we're approaching you know the the
699s full-on mid game where players are all
701s gonna want to base up and try to find
702s the best position possible and there is
704s really only one team anywhere near them
708s there's barely anybody even in sniping
710s range for them which you know is good
712s and bad but great for them because
714s obviously no no threat at all no risk in
718s their gameplay so far and just
720s maximizing all their opportunities look
723s look even has the angle right he's got
725s the angle on this other enemy team
726s across the way so he's letting his team
728s know and you can tell right like these
730s guys are being very cautious on how
731s they're moving you've got I believe that
733s cement dose who's out and about just you
735s know picking up a few extra things I
737s like that they're basically running into
738s this this mega structure that they've
740s constructed and it's almost like a
742s little a little shopping market you know
744s they keep bringing in things on the
746s bottom layer you're gonna see as soon as
747s he edits there there's gonna be like
748s loot there in front you've got extra
750s materials things to swap out like
752s they're just continuing to like
754s stockpile things right they even had the
756s next zone while all my look now they're
760s right on the edge of the next one and
762s that's a perfect opportunity to
764s highlight why Center zone is so good
767s when you approach the mid game why
768s centre zone is going to favor you in
771s terms of position right you never know
773s except if you have a storm Scout you
775s never know the storm Scout just gives us
776s a better opportunity to teach this
778s concept right you never know where the
780s zone is gonna close on you you never
782s knows who's gonna go northeast Northwest
783s it southeast Southwest which corner or
785s if it's just going to stay in the center
787s but if you base up in the center of
790s forth zone for example or third zone
792s like you are right now you give yourself
794s the biggest possibility to be in that
796s next zone I think there's a couple zones
798s that really if you are exactly Center
800s there's no chance if you not get
801s there's own all right so this is
803s completely exemplified here as we know
806s where the fourth zone is it's in that
807s north east corner of this one and
810s they're still in zone on their high
812s ground and you see all the teams we can
816s kind of see that the mini-map here
817s you've got all these teams already
819s posting up you know building themselves
821s a little base you've got the team back
822s here there's probably the only team
824s they're really worried about just cause
826s like for the most part in in this along
829s this like line you could kind of see
831s everyone on the other side right now
834s it's like these guys are the ones that
835s could provide a little bit of trouble I
837s mean the whole time Levites been up here
839s right he's been just gathering
840s information
841s spotting out teams you've got flexi down
845s here with the mentos they're just trying
847s to find little cheeky angles right I'll
848s give you if you can spot a team and just
850s drill and take away some of their shield
853s like getting them to burn resources is
855s like very vital right because it's
857s something that they won't have later on
858s in the game and if you can force them to
859s use it now it's gonna be huge
862s what are your thoughts on the the
864s minigun because you see flex he's got
865s one on them Oh we'll see that come into
867s play a lot throughout the FCS I'm not
871s sure if this game will see if it comes
872s into play but it's something that's
874s becoming more and more popular as time
876s goes on especially in this trios format
878s because in solos for example you don't
881s necessarily want the the minigun because
883s you want the rest of your items but in
886s trios you have other teammates who are
887s covering for you right they have that
889s spam weapon they have the close-range
890s they have the utility items they have
892s heals everybody can share in those so
896s we're seeing more and more minigun play
897s I think actually na West was where edgy
901s just use the minigun every single game
904s to gain high ground and gain actually do
908s very precise high ground takes led them
910s to win na West but here
912s so if Lexie uses it they have tons of
914s stockpile down below you pointed it out
915s earlier now they're using the grenades
917s because hey why not they're about to
919s leave this space you saw des Mentos
921s early on moving down to where Lexie and
924s let wick are moving right now
926s because they had that extra stockpile of
927s brick they were using the entire time
929s they just move slightly into zone and
931s now in that fourth zone is gonna be
933s where the corner is
934s like a team just flew on top of them and
936s based up in metal which is it going to
939s be the play cuz zone is gonna they could
941s edge their way in from the high ground
943s but I like the position of Demento
946s sweats Inlet with a little bit more yeah
949s I mean if they want it to be like
950s insanely cheeky they can just bust out
953s the walls right view this half wall all
955s the way around here studying support the
956s structure it all collapses but then you
958s kinda have to worry about that team of
959s top like are they what do they have how
962s are they gonna drop on you do you have
963s the angle when they do come down so it's
965s just better to play for a late-game
967s waxey whoa he is he went for that Supply
973s Drop that landed there it looks like he
975s might have thinking a little bit of
976s damage for it like a little bit of
977s punishment but like to get a chug-chug
979s out of it I feel like it's pretty worth
981s especially like what else could have
983s come out of that he didn't I think it
985s was a proximity launcher that was left
987s behind but it had that been like an RPG
988s a goal they are really anything helpful
992s man a second rocket launcher would have
994s been I'm sure they would have loved that
995s but they'll still they'll sit on the one
998s for now I just love the the control that
1001s they get effects it was able to do that
1003s without really again you said you got
1005s punished a little bit but in in reality
1007s not much has been spent besides a little
1010s bit of wood for just going down there
1012s because they have so much control on all
1014s this space they had this base early on
1017s they haven't wasted many resources
1019s getting this space and then now they're
1021s able to cover for a drop down on low
1023s ground nobody contested it at all except
1026s for a couple shots on the Flex it heals
1027s right back up now they are trying to get
1029s some damage done you talked about the
1031s damage earlier on and how we talked also
1036s a little bit of how it's related to
1037s storm surge storm surge is active and
1039s because of those tags that they got
1041s throughout the game they're 11 above
1043s they're also hunting for more
1045s elimination points - yeah right now I
1050s mean they're playing the waiting game
1051s and that's smart right like they they
1053s try to get a little cheeky there you
1054s know we saw some shots traded
1056s Lovick had to kind of burn some of a
1058s single slurp there but I mean you know
1062s it helps out the team as well you top
1064s off what so you give to meant us a
1066s little bit more shield and yourself as
1067s well
1069s but right now like they don't have
1071s enough information I wonder if they did
1073s they bring that storm Scout with him I
1074s don't think they did right I think they
1076s left it in the base that they walked
1077s away from because now we look and
1078s they're kind of going back where they
1079s were don't forget they had the base like
1082s right here that Megan structure that
1084s those enemies flew up on top of and
1087s built metal on top of so they have
1089s something they could retreat to but like
1091s I don't think that's probably what
1092s they're thinking they're probably
1093s they're probably gonna change their
1094s mindset a little bit on how they want to
1095s backtrack some just based on like look
1098s at this density you can see on screen
1099s like and even here there's still one two
1103s three four teams out here that are
1104s probably fighting you got all the teams
1106s funneling in around here along this
1108s storm edge man it is a packed zone it's
1112s packed 51 players a lot of 19 teams the
1115s first point threshold in the trio's and
1117s FCS is 12 teams remaining they're
1121s approaching that but still as of right
1124s now everything is just try to get as
1127s many tags try to set yourself up and try
1129s to spend your economy wisely right you
1131s don't want to trade too much HP for not
1133s much gain but you also do want to be
1135s spending some of these heals in exchange
1138s for it possibly an elimination that's
1139s why they're going so aggressively onto
1141s these players right here they were
1143s trying earlier on to because they have
1146s the heels to spare they can trade out
1148s some damage there they finally find one
1150s actually two eliminations Fuxi and let
1153s wick at the same time like to see it so
1158s all that did actually pay off
1159s you know just biding their time cuz you
1163s know a lot another thing we like to talk
1164s about is resources right like in looking
1166s by the way they do it they still have
1168s the storm scout you know we started do
1171s my toes had 300 rounds 363 I think was
1174s like right around there and he's only
1176s really burned about a hundred that's not
1177s that bad for two eliminations being able
1180s to kind of hold your ground and not
1182s being forced to move because like they
1183s haven't built anything else really if
1186s anything they're like just reinforced a
1187s few one by ones that's probably the
1188s first walk think I've seen build from
1190s Demento so yes again a testament to the
1193s control that you kind of touched on
1195s earlier
1195s yeah and they did pick up one more
1196s elimination there as the moving zones
1199s start the endgame is now upon us
1202s and we'll see how they play it of course
1203s they have that storm Scout still on de
1205s mentos we'll see if he's gonna be able
1206s to use that and one thing that you could
1209s see they're all trying to find a spot
1212s but those three eliminations they're in
1214s that fifth zone or something that you
1216s don't see too much from all different
1218s teams that's a kind of a period where
1220s you can't find those eliminations
1222s because everybody's playing so carefully
1223s but these guys find three and when I was
1225s watching them throughout the weekend
1226s they were consistently finding those
1228s eliminations
1229s now the pathing begins the crazy
1231s tunneling from everybody is starting and
1233s who's in the lead I believe the Mentos
1236s is leading the pack for this team you'll
1238s see trios have dedicated passers there's
1241s the mentos up in the lead he passed so
1243s far ahead you gets in the zone and then
1245s everybody's feeding their materials
1246s towards them and then the two players in
1249s the back try to take as many shots as
1251s possible that's let wick and flexy I
1254s think that's so good too right because
1256s like you want that dedicated person that
1258s that you can kind of funnel resources
1260s into to kind of build you these like
1262s safe tunnels it's like that in itself is
1265s a skill right like you have to be able
1266s to kind of look around at the
1268s battlefield and kind of assess like okay
1269s I feel confident that I can build here
1272s or out this way or you know I can use
1273s this much of my resources and we're
1275s gonna be okay because you're either
1277s gonna one over build and you've burned
1279s so many materials and those are vital
1281s going into late-game or you've under
1282s built and the moment that the the lobby
1284s decides to turn on you because one guy
1285s took a shot your way like you're just
1287s not gonna have enough structures but to
1289s mentos like he's just owning the entire
1292s space that he like encompasses right
1294s like again it's just more testament to
1297s their level of control like even this
1298s right they took a rocket he didn't take
1299s any damage right because of the amount
1301s of the bills that he has his awareness
1303s like to have they are gonna get a little
1306s bit chip damage here from the stink
1308s someone is gonna push in man let weakest
1311s drop low but I believe he just traded
1313s out what's he did okay yeah they
1315s actually just wiped full squad right
1317s there look and flexy lat except two for
1321s eliminations right now we saw him get
1322s the two earlier and they're just
1324s actually one thing to notice how it's
1326s going back through the Pueblo city that
1329s they were in earlier on they just wiped
1332s a full squad that got him to drop down
1333s into them and they
1335s because of that look at let which Matt
1337s sees that 150 he's back up to max they
1339s can path on low ground for the rest of
1341s the game we're already into the eighth
1343s circle it's coming down to the last
1344s moments as it exits Pueblo one more time
1348s it came back in and outs there's another
1350s team dropped them below can they find
1351s any more eliminations with the RPG
1353s possibly I haven't even seen them used
1356s that aggressively yet up on to take high
1358s ground flex he picks up an elimination
1360s the meantime and he does pick up the
1363s finish on the player who fell down below
1365s with the RPG yeah man I mean like this
1370s is insane
1371s just being able to kind of break down
1372s what's happening and take a little bit
1374s of deeper dive into kind of what's going
1375s on even just kind of looking through
1377s loadouts you know de Mentos he's been
1380s like you said that Tom asked her and
1381s he's still at 81 material like that in
1384s itself is huge like to have still well
1386s over halfway of your mass like you can
1388s see the breakdown here most of it is
1389s wood for a brick was mostly burned still
1392s has metal though yeah these guys are you
1396s know this is why they won this game
1397s they even have three shockwaves across
1399s two people yeah now it's not just
1401s efficiency on two Mentos too but also
1403s being able to pick up those eliminations
1405s they call them a little impact
1406s eliminations where you can find more and
1408s more loot to last you throughout the
1410s game as Demento slight wick all these
1412s guys are pretty much maxed out on metal
1414s here comes shockwaves up from flex seed
1416s the Mentos down on low ground and the
1418s last moments effects he's actually down
1420s and out he went up by himself we'll see
1422s right now if this is gonna end up
1423s finishing because there's only three
1425s teams remaining Demento staying
1426s completely on low ground wet wick is
1428s actually making a play up and there it
1430s is the game ends with a flawless win
1433s from these guys the gambit crew with de
1437s mentos as well joining them just
1439s unbelievable formats that control
1440s throughout the entire game and then the
1442s end game mastery being able to find
1444s those impact eliminations perfect
1446s passing throughout good game here from
1449s these guys well that is it from Paul and
