Yup! A bunch of devs and streamers are raiding this Friday from 1-3 PM PST. We're calling it Carry the Creators. Should be a good time!

Good luck on your journey! Right there with you. After I finished the story I found it hard to pick goals for myself, but my wife helped me acquire my skyscale and now I'm chasing after the remaining masteries I have yet to unlock, in addition to dabbling in raids and fractals.

I gave up liquor about 5 years ago, and oddly enough games help. Hang in there. Sobriety is actually better than I expected. ;)

Yeah, it's largely meaningless taking that data just from reset night when most maps are queued. They also were running a bonus event to further skew the data (no idea why you would want that for a test).

To clarify, the matchmaker uses activity data from the previous 30 days, not reset. Matchmaking happens before reset.

A quick follow-up here regarding the removal of the outnumbered pip bonus.

Looking at the sources of pips, outnumbered is a small percentage (7%) of overall pip gains compared to ranks and placement, despite the fact that outnumbered is a huge bonus (+5). The changes outlined in the blog (+2 baseline pips) are intended to provide more players, more pips, in more scenarios.

As other posters have mentioned, it's worth keeping in mind that the entire point of World Restructuring is improving population balance across match ups. The ability to benefit from Outnumbered exists to the degree that it does currently because population isn't balanced as well as it could be. We're experimenting with this change now because the goal is that world population balance will improve with World Restructuring, meaning that the outnumbered bonus will be even more difficult to benefit from in the future.

And, I know this is hard to believe (trust me, I get it), but if we don't s...

We're still working on that! News soon.

Removing outnumbered pips is a huge kick in the teeth to pip gain - +1 to base pips is great, but it still doesn't address the fundamental issues with the rewards. Hopefully they look at this more.

We're going to focus more on rewards after World Restructuring is wrapped up. These were some 'low hanging fruit' adjustments we could make in the short-term without disrupting World Restructuring efforts. :)

But yes, currencies alone is ridiculous in Gw2... something needs to change there.

Glad you found some enjoyment though!

I honestly couldn't get into the game until I tried the engi. My first character was a necro, and it just didn't fit my fantasy for that class. Engi fit perfectly what I wanted (also it was fun causing explosions in the Ash missions where everyone as acting stealthy)

What a silly name its like saying Tom from anet.

Yeah, it's a goofy name. I had to pick something way back in 2012 and figured if I was going to be in the game folks should know who I was. And now I'm stuck with it!

Greetings Gamers, and happy Saturday!

Today will be the EU Invitational Bracket for the 2nd Hardstuck Conquest League. Two weeks ago, we watched as 9 teams clawed their way out of the Open bracket to compete with the Invitational teams, and today is the day we watch as they clash. Once again, only 2 teams from today's matches will make it through to tomorrow's Global Cross Region Matches, and we have some very competitive teams for sure. But no matter who comes out on top today, they will have their work cut out for them facing off against NA's strongest - Skillcapped, as well as the winners of the previous HCL, The USA Dragons.

You can watch all the action over at MightyTeapot, and read a...

Oooh, chance to thank someone 'in person'. I know everyone goes for the EMP but medizooka was my favorite mastery in IBS (mount stealth is a very close second), so I wanted to say I appreciate the work you put into it. It's impactful and fun to use, a fine addition to the game.

Thanks! FWIW I worked on the Mount Stealth too (and the upgrade mastery for all the skills) so I also appreciate the compliment on that one as well, haha.

Hi! So I can give a bit more info on that (I made it :P) You use the waystation to pick one up but once you've acquired it it'll be a Special Action Button skill on your bar. From there you can run around wherever you want with it as long as you have ammo. Once you run out of ammo, it goes away.
