Unfortunately, I don't have any control over that. I'm hoping we can do another pressing, though, and will be bringing it up with the studio.

I'm working on that now. See my edit to the original post.

I'm looking into international shipping now. I'm not very experienced selling stuff on eBay, so I missed that international shipping wasn't an option when I first posted it. Please keep an eye on them if you're interested.

Hi everyone. I've been thinking a lot lately about ways I can do something positive for people in a difficult year. I recently remembered I had some test pressings (pre-production copies used for quality control before final retail production) of the Path of Fire vinyl soundtrack lying around, and now I'm auctioning them off. 100% of the proceeds will go to charity, specifically Direct Relief, to help in the little way I can with their Covid-19 relief efforts.

There are five copies of the test pressing, as well as one sealed copy of the final retail release from iam8bit. The soundtrack is sold out on their website, so this is possibly the only way to get a brand new copy! For the winning bidders, I'll gladly sign/personalize the sleeves (within tasteful boundaries, of course).

Thanks, as always, to this fantastic community of players. I genuinely appreciate the love you have for the game as well as the music. Thanks also to this subreddit's mods for allowing me to p...

Thanks for sharing this here! I saw a few players in the chat, which was really cool. I know my piece was just a short part of the program, but it meant a lot to be able to conduct it live, which I'd never done before. Hopefully there will be more opportunities to do a bigger GW2 concert in the future.

Responding to the OP: I never said raids were "abandoned" or what the future holds for that gametype or any other. I merely said, "We're working on LW and expac right now" and kept it vague because that's pretty much all I can talk about. Titling this thread "Bobby Stein on the future of raids" is a big exaggeration. Serves me right for posting, I guess. ;)

But let's focus this discussion on the players for a sec. This is purely to spur discussion and not to set false expectations, BTW. I just want to read your thoughts. This is not an official poll or anything like that. Just a chat among players.

What is it that you like about raids in general? Why do you play raids (in any game) in the first place? If we were to build another raid, what would you like to see? Any story you'd like experience?

I realized I don't have the recipe when I went to the station to craft it. I thought that maybe I should be using Sylvari's station, so I traveled to The Grove to craft it. Didn't work.

Went to the NPC to see what he was saying. "Go craft it".

I doubt I destroyed the recipe because I usually use all recipes once I receive them. I found a post on the forums saying that they fixed it by repairing the game. If it doesn't work for me, I'll send them a ticket :(

Hi, I made this! Are you sure that you don't have any filters in your crafting interface preventing you from seeing the recipe? It should auto unlock for you when you turn in the seeds, you don't need to manually consume the recipe item at all.

To clarify: The original raid team members did move into new positions on various teams (management, lead, LW, or expac). Some are still at the studio but a few have moved on to other opportunities. This is pretty normal industry stuff.

GW2 has a vibrant community and we're always looking at ways to keep the game engaging for people. Raids, like Living World, fractals, etc. are constantly being evaluated. Right now we're focused on finishing the Icebrood Saga and the expansion (among other things) but please continue sharing your ideas and letting us know the kinds of things you want in the game. I can't guarantee a particular outcome but it's important that we know your thoughts as they help us weigh decisions. Thanks.

Thanks a million for dropping by!!

Yes indeed! Former game designer Matthew Moore wrote the original music and lyrics, and then I played mandolin, guitar, tambourine, and sang on it with the help of a bunch of folks around the studio. I love that it still has a life of its own all these years later, so thank you for putting this together!

It was a pleasure. Thanks for the sendoff. And to answer someone's question below. Yes, I'll still be in the game, yes I can keep playing. But I was happy to get a raid in while I still had my tag.
