[2021] Xbox One controller problems

Could you offer the latest log to us? (The logs can be found at game folder/logfile and send us the run logs that represent this issue)

And what kind of xone controller are you using?

No other games I play have the same issue though.

Oh glad to hear that. Try not to connect two input devices at the same time to avoid potential conflict.

I am having a similar issue. I filed a bug report in game, but plugging in the controller via USB does seem to work. Disconnecting a bluetooth Xbox Series X controller while in game and reconnecting it causes lots of inputs to stop working/work sporadically.
