@CountCristo42 @DannyApplegate @AsaTJ Well more mainstream appeal can be a bit of an attack on a 'hardcore' crowd that very much defines themselves by being a player of the game. I saw this a bunch on HOI4 and EU3. I think its a natural reaction to being deeply involved in something that changes.

@talecrafter I dont have much EA experience but my take - avoid discounts early on. at least 6 months. I'd be tempted to not do any until EA is almost done tbh - any discounts smaller than 15-20% wont make a big difference tbh on attracting people. you'll just break even
