[2020] One shot buy the melee weapon?

Was the person hacking or is this a legitimate thing thay can occur? I was full health and just zoomin' away, having fun just being alive and I run into a dude, he swings and I just die. I was so confused but I dont wanna just throw out a "Omg he's hacking" sorta thing. I forgot the username so sadly if he is then I cant report him ;-;
