look I'm not going to waste your time explaining on how people hate the hexfirr because you probably know that. what I am going to do is suggest a way to balance the weapon.

two words: spinup time.

Similar to minigun style weapons such as the one from tf2 and Sheila from Apex Legends I propose that the hexfire require the user to hold down the fire button to spin up the hexfire before it can start firing (also ADSing also spins up the hexfire)

I feel like these changes would make the hexfire more of a defensive weapon good for holding down a position rather than the it's current use of running at people holding the fire button without a thought in the world

what do you think?
