i have been using invis + teleport to escape other people, but sometimes it seems like the other person can still see me. can someone give me a few tips?

For invisibility, players can still hear you sliding etc. and you emit a sort of wooshing sound that more aware players can follow.
Try to never slide or stand still whilst Invis to make it as difficult as possible for players to track you!
