Aim assist was never the problem. The fact that the hex is a GOD DAMN ASSAULT RIFLE WITH 150 ROUNDS WHEN EVERY OTHER WEAPON HAS 30 AT MOST. Honestly, it couldn't be any more obvious. 150 rounds of pressure. No risk, high reward. You make a mistake, pfft, still got another 100 rounds. Opponent makes a mistake, misses one shot, done. Dead. No counter.
Add a movement penalty. Add spin up time. Massively reduce accuracy. Anything.
Monitoring feedback from the community? Look at your data from in game, the numbers will be obvious. We've been telling you this is a problem from day one, and you still need "feedback"?!? WTF are you guys doing?
This is the same as the aim console aim problem. I can't explain it other than straight up incompetence. Seriously. Go play Apex and pay attention to why they have millions of players after 5 seasons, and you have none b...
I have been playing the game since before Tech Test and play it once a day. The Hexfire is a minigun. The team does look at the data from the game and cross-matches it with suggestions from the community plus any solutions they would like to test internally. The team wanted to be careful with not changing too many things at once. Thank you for your input regardless.
Hey!
Can you explain what happened in the lead up to this and which platform you are playing on?
Thanks a million :)
AJ
Hey!
I'm sorry to hear you're encountering issues. I would advise opening a ticket with Ubisoft Support as they will be best equipped to help you identify the cause of the issue and find a potential solution.
Thanks a million :)

Hey!
For invisibility, players can still hear you sliding etc. and you emit a sort of wooshing sound that more aware players can follow.
Try to never slide or stand still whilst Invis to make it as difficult as possible for players to track you!
Thanks a million :)
AJ
Hey!
We did highlight in the most recent Patch Notes that aim assist for controllers on PC was slightly reduced:
"AIM ASSIST
• Controller Aim Assist setting is now a slider (0-100) and not just an ON/OFF option.
• Aim Assist for PC Controller has been reduced.
Developer Notes: The role of Aim Assist is to help provide a good experience to all players, not to make a specific controller type superior to another. Our data showed that on PC the weapon efficiency of Controller was a bit higher than Keyboard & Mouse, so its level of ...
Read moreHey buddy!
I feel this is a very general feeling I get playing most FPS shooters.
I tend to start off pretty well most sessions on games like Hyper Scape and Apex (Maybe it takes a game or 2 to wake up first) but i do find the longer I play, the worse I tend to perform.
I think it's a combo of things such as fatigue, losing concentration etc.
I think it's totally normal and don't feel like you're the only one who experiences this! Don't be afraid to take a break and regroup and come back focused again!
Thanks a million :)
AJ
Hey!
Thanks for the suggestions on the hex! We are doing our best to collect as much feedback on the weapon to pass along to the dev team!
Thanks a million :)
AJ
Hey! This typo has been reported to the team. Thank you!
What platform do you play on? If it is PC, you should try verifying your game files.
Oh dear, this is super weird. Will get this reported up!
Thank you so much for the love!! It really means a lot to us :D
Read moreThe linear curve is no good because it's impossible to strike a balance between fine, precise aim and fast speeds for quick turning on controllers. The Original response curve is a dual zone and feels better with aim acceleration disabled. Dual zones allow you to have a low sensitivity in the inner zone for fine aim and high sensitivity in the outer zone for fast turn arounds which is needed in these types of games. But the problem with the original curve is that there is no control over how much extra turning speed is applied in the outer zone. There is no way to set the outer deadzone to control how far you have to push the stick in engage the extra speed. Also there is no way to control how long it takes for your sensitivity to transition from the inner zone speed to the outer zone speed. Whats happening is people are trying to track fast moving targets and pushing their sticks slightly too far and hitting the outer zone which instantaneously ramps their turning speed up to a hi...
Thank you for sharing your suggestion! I'll flag this up to the team in my report for sure.
Dude all I wanted was to be able to turn left as fast as I can turn right (literally facing a 50% difference in speed, it's insane) and what I got was deal with the literal inconsistency or play with linear for the first time in my life. Ig I'm the only one in the world who sees the beauty in running a 60/80 sens with classic+AA on, but I literally can't bc I turn left so ridiculously slow at full tilt. I even opened my controller and cleaned off the right sticks horizontal sensor wheel and it had zero impact whatsoever. It works perfectly with linear, but I've never played linear before.
The difference between aiming left and right has been previously reported to the team and they are looking into it.
