@PhilHam There are a couple ifs. Do you want to block out noise around you as in you consider using noise cancelling headphones while at your desk, a mic + headphones is gonna work. Using such a setup myself. It does leave you without talking capability when walking around the house.

@PhilHam However if you prefer walking around and being able to talk while going outside, you probably want a wireless headset What I like most about the split mic and headphones setup is the ability to switch headphones. On hot days I switch my headphones for simple earbuds due to sweat

@PhilHam Yeah the problem is Bluetooth microphones always offer bad quality. That's just the sad reality of the Bluetooth codecs.
