After making millions over the years, the current Mineplex owners didn't even bother to properly shut down the servers with a thank you message to their community. There are claims that they didn't pay their own last remaining developers in the last few months. What a sh*tshow.…
Mineplex was once the biggest minecraft server there was. Dominating the minigame scene, breaking player count records, and forever in the memories of its players. A couple days ago now though, it abruptly shut down. What really went wrong, with the once king of minecraft? Video https://t.co/mOpm0y3Yed
Was great to meet you in person too :) https://twitter.com/KweebecCorner/status/1658572156513538064
I spoke to the CEO of @Hypixel and @Hytale - the legend himself @Noxywoxy Video premiering on the channel in 30 mins! 🤘 be there or be a voxel. https://t.co/MTQdudMBXf
Very sad to hear the Mineplex server has shut down after 10 years of serving its community.
Some good staff and developers behind it. The rivalry between Mineplex and Hypixel really brought about the golden age of minigame servers.
Won’t forget you @Mineplex
I tried to consult ChatGPT for advice on references for music for an area in Hytale. It suggested ten tracks by composers I know from games I've heard of. Great! Only thing is none of the songs actually existed and it was all completely made up.
It was great vibing with these guys (even if one of them is a mosshorn hater). Super chill and cozy. Thanks for inviting me on @not_mynes / @flash_canadian :)
I interviewed a @Hytale Developer👀 To find out what we asked, and more importantly what he said ⏬⏬ WATCH NOW: https://t.co/mCRaSAf8AN https://t.co/YIJvds0uXF
Little #mecha sketching session today, just playing with silhouettes and volume, inspired from various Pinterest boards. Made with #Procreate
This doesn't mean I'm leaving Twitter. It'll depend on how it goes here...Let's say I'm anticipating :)
Hey, as we know, Twitter is getting worse everyday, and I want to give another chance to Instagram.
Friends, please come and support me there too if you wish, I might even post things I never shared...
Some more personal and intimate paints I wanted to share, mostly light and color researches. I tried to capture specific atmospheres, different emotions, with minimal use of details...
I had the chance to discover a great exhibition about #dinosaur through history of art in #Kobe and I couldn’t resist painting another fantasy dinosaur on the IPad. Thanks for the inspiration @hyogoartm museum!
I recently upgraded my rig and got a Mac Studio with Ventura and latest version of Logic. Can't say I'm impressed yet considering Logic now crashes almost every time I try and save my projects. I work from Dropbox, so another 'feature' is that I can no longer see 'recent files'.
Lost Zeppelin, a concept made with #Procreate , while I was traveling around. #illustrationart #conceptart
The Hypixel server is 10 years old today!
AND STILL GOING STRONG! THANK YOU ALL, LETS GO FOR ANOTHER 10!
Some of my photos
Past days I visited Yakushima #屋久島 island, an incredible place in Japan, mountains covered with a thick and ancient forest. It inspired Miyazaki in the making of Princess Mononoke. Here is my humble attempt at depicting a corner of this place. #sketchbook
Although, the biggest factor is the lack of English abilities country-wide, and you might ask why that is, and the cultural self-sufficiency is part of that, but it's also the way they learn English using katakana.
I asked my wife if she knows who Mr. Beast is, and she said no, and whether I mean "Mr. Bean". She's from Japan. I think there is a lot of western pop culture that most Japanese people have no clue about. Japan is kinda culturally "self-sufficient", so less need to look outside.
