Gotta count to 4. 4th shot does more damage the lower health they are.

Use abilities to kill minions when you’re reloading.

Ikeepittaco is a Jhin streamer on twitch if you want to watch someone playing him. Sometimes that can help.

I know a thing or two or four about Jhin. Want to play a few games?

I can speak to the ping item. This was not just a decision made lightly. We had started building the Riot Direct network to try and deal with bad routing across the US already but it was clear we needed to find a more central location for the game servers to try and give everyone the best experience we could. There was a huge desire to not split the player population into east and west but to maintain a unified North America shard that had the best possible latency we could engineer to a single location. Chicago gave us the best compromise across Canada and the USA but was still not without its difficulties. Getting the interconnection setup and engineered to the major ISPs across NA, with the fairly constant change in ownership and engineering was challenging. You can get 45ms from LA on a good ISP to Chicago now. The averages before this when the servers were in Oregon were horrible. Our original goal was to get 80% of the players in NA under 80ms but we were able to move that to...

With very limited data we think he can get another 2-2.5% win rate worth of buffs but he won’t receive any changes until 13.9

I do think he is mathematically stronger than 13.3 for most players but is definitely weaker for elite players still.

Hey Spideraxe

We're watching Milio's data carefully. In 13.7 we fixed a bug that was causing his recommended build order to suggest Q max which was impacting winrate reads. It's going to take some time before we see the full impact of players changing their max order as well as enemies learning how to play against him.

Generally we predicted that Milio players would have a decent advantage playing as him compared to enemies learning how to play against because of his accessible skill floor. The community is anticipated to learn how to play around him and pick counters at a slower pace than Milio players pick up the champion.

We're prepared to make more changes as we see data come in as needed, or leave him be if he's in a state Milio players are happy with that isn't causing problems. Balance is always relative and changing!

Sorry, no sneak peaks at possible changes :)

We recently upgraded the game client to be 64-bit in the 13.7 patch. This change was tested for compatibility as well as soaked on PBE, but since it was a significant change, it can still cause some unexpected problems. We are currently investigating new issues that have arisen since the upgrade.

We have noticed that some third-party apps like Discord, Blitz, and others may not be working properly causing instability. If you're experiencing issues, we suggest checking these apps and making sure that your drivers are up to date.

Hot take but Azir being strong in pro play wasn't unhealthy for the game. Riot has a tendency to conflate a champion's overall strength with a balance issue. Even as a strong pick, I do not think Azir was anywhere near as overly centralizing as previous dominant picks in that role. Was he a touch strong? Sure, but I don't think that was indicative of a design issue that demanded the champion's playability be struck as harshly as it did. I don't know why Riot insists on making changes that make champions just unfun to play instead of nerfing how much value they get out of their BnBs.

Azir being in pro has never been a direct problem imo. The goal wit these changes has always been to preserve win rate and see if we can diminish pro presence at the same time, allowing for further buffs. The exception was 13.4 where we expected Azir to be overtaking as the #1 mid laner, so that was a nerf first.

Unfortunately we missed the mark on tuning with these changes, which really sucks for Azir players.

/u/RiotTripoid Linux community would greatly appreciate any feedback here although I understand that Linux is not officially supported. In Wine environments this crash happens just after the start of "League of Legends.exe" and it happens due to assertion failure. Some details are available here https://github.com/kyechou/leagueoflegends/issues/83 if it'd help in anyway in narrowing the root cause that seems to also affect Windows users.

Hi, I know this is not an answer but we are actively investigating root causes for these crashes. I'll try to provide an update as soon as we find clear resolutions. If you want to DM me client logs I can relay them to the appropriate people, these live in the GameLogs directory.

Sorry for a half answer :/

A few minutes after reconnecting, the game explodes in audio and rewinds from when I crashed, then lots of weird stuff happens after. Luckily my recording software was on and was able to clip this weird bug. I didn't have the time to investigate what was happening in the rewind (refer to the first video) since it was a ranked game and had me frustrated for that bug to almost make us lose.

I went and reinstalled my game and restarted my pc as I thought it may only be an error in the files. later this evening, I played a game and still got this crash. (3 crashes in total.) * Video / Screenshot: All videos have been uploaded to Streamable. I wasn't able to clip the first crash as I wasn't expecting for my game to crash.

Fixes are now live in EUN and deploying to OC and RU - there were three pretty impactful issues that would affect queue times as well as causing people to get stuck in infinite queues. Will see how it's going after a few hours of the fixes being out.

edit: Here is the video

Don't quote me because I can't be 100% sure but I'm extremely confident the team that produces Drive also produced this series.

Both are bangers as it turns out.

From my experience on OCE, it looked like the queue wasn't even working. It would never go into champ select and if you tried to remove yourself from the queue, the "x" button wouldn't work, and I had to restart the client.

Yep, this is part of what we're fixing.

yes, it's super fun. I love league of legends

We intend to do more of these as we get a better understanding of the effects they have on the mode.

Game is great, casting is objectively bad in the game LOL

Least the passion of the pick and how wild and fun that game was has been the most enduring parts of that series.

Little late to this thread but appreciate the sentiment, one of the hardest things about being moved away from casting was losing all the synergy Mark and I had built up as a duo.

There's something so fun about casting with that muppet. He matched the lightness in energy I used a lot in the latter part of my career but he knew when to weave in stats, storytelling and deliver in big moments as well.

Mark is great in content and as an analyst, but I still think he's a criminally underrated colour caster too.

Thankfully I still get to work with Mark every week, but instead of casting I'm helping bring the outer wilds of his brain to life in content xD

I can give a bit more insight on this data, since I pulled it (I also moonlight as a data analyst in addition to my day job :D)

  • 3.3% is the correct number

Of 4 vote failed early FF's, a significant number get dragged out:

  • However, if a game ends before 21 minutes, ~90% are held hostage (45% get FF 20'd, 50% end naturally by 20 [open mid or just lose])
  • 80% of the games resolve by 25 minutes
  • Games that make it to 30 minutes have a 10% winrate
  • Games that made it to 40 minutes had a 45% winrate (but the incidence was very low)

While the "come back from behind, win at 45 minutes" moments are some of the highest moments in League, the vast vast majority of the cases are experiences where the majority of the team doesn't want to play the game out and are trapped in a suboptimal experience.

Add on to that that a significant portion of our playerbase is paying by the hour to play....

Hell yeah, happy to help get this one prioritized. Thank Ray Yonggi for doing the fix!
